God just spoke to my heart and reminded me that I have so many brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world. All different cultures and race. I just see the comment section with scripture in it, and it makes me thankful for all of you. Warms my heart and gives me comfort that I belong to such a large family that has one focus. :) Jesus.
Excellent show.. as a white person I despaired that people of color would always think or feel that I thought they were less then which is NOT true at all. Everyone is an image bearer... everyone is equal in Christ.
You just want to maintain White dominance without the open racism. A stop using people of color. Start saying Black people. If a Black person speaks the truth about your race on a collective level and has a backbone against the fuckery and injustice your race does you get uncomfortable.
travelingmoreno84 Hi there.. I said people of color because I was not just referring to black people and used it for the sake of being brief. No, I do not want to maintain dominance over anyone.. you should take your mind reading skills on the road. I see you like traveling it’s in your name. But I will offer you a piece of advice, since you think white people are abhorrent, try listening to Candice Owens. You may learn something.
Thanks for this comment. I wish everyone haf a heart like your. Unfortunately, not all people can make this claim. I would appreciate it more if conversations like this were balanced with acknowlodging that racism does exist today, but it may not be found under every nook and cranny. I haven't heard this lady even acknowledge that lots of people have been hurt. I do think that's sad and lacks compassion from someone who claims Christ.
@@marquiaverrett6120 we do acknowledge it where it is. However, bringing up the past constantly isn't helping anyone. Its picking at a scab over and over again. There are countless people who behave in a non racist way today and very few people are racist. If we didn't try and make an entire race guilty of one person's crime we could move on in unity
@@bree1984shock Thanks for the reply. When you say "we acknowledge it" who do you mean? I haven't seen these folks say anything like, we need to address the pain that is compounded with a continued pulling off of the scab everytime people of color are mistreated today. If they have, please add the link here. I want to wrong and I have searched for a video like that. I am sad when I Christians say things like "that used to happen." "Racism isn't that big of a deal" or "Let's stop talking about this." Until the pain is addressed it will not go away. No need to feel guilty if you are part if the solution. That is the part that builds unity. Jesus consistently addressed the physical and emotional needs of people then he would address the spiritual plight. I pray this is a approach that followers of Christ take instead of the "pull up your bootstraps" approach. I pray you are well.
So needed to hear this today. Yesterday, I had a 20 year friend tell me I shouldn’t speak on things or question critical race theory because I’m white. Broke my heart. Love what she said here, “at some point, you just have to stand for truth.”
Glad you had Monique on to discuss this topic. There really is no room for forgiveness or tolerance of different world views within the critical theory framework so it will never lead to unity or reconciliation.
This is my first introduction to Allie Beth Stuckey and this is such a great conversation. As a black Christian female, I have to say I totally agree with everything Allie and Monique voiced here and I'm so grateful for how they brought clarity to some really nuanced and sensitive topics with love and truth. Looking forward to sharing this with my liberal, unsaved dad (who happens to be from Zimbabwe), stepmother, and others. Can't wait to follow up with an open and loving conversation about it all.
I think pastors/the church are vulnerable to this ideology because they are already on a trajectory of trying to appeal to the world by being culturally "relevant". You can see this by their emphases, what they preach on and don't, and what sins they're willing to overlook in the church. I believe they're accepting the CRT ideology because they want to appeal to unbelievers, as well as young Christians who hold it. They have completely forgotten that the gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing, but the power of God to those being saved, that Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world, that our job is to dismantle worldly ideologies that oppose themselves to Christ. They're also naive and undiscerning and don't bother to investigate this worldview in light of Scripture; they just think it sounds good because on a surface level it has some of the same concerns and emphases as Christianity, so it seems like a good thing to take on board as a touchpoint with the culture. However, people aren't saved or discipled by believing a Christianized version of worldly philosophy, they're saved and discipled by the gospel and the word of God.
Yes, I was talking to a friend whose son& daughter in law got married by a pastor, it was a very Christ oriented ceremony. I happen to know they do t even go to church anymore and especially she (he, less so, I believe)is really buying into all this white supremacy stuff. Recently my friend complained about all these young people “leaving” the church in droves (I believe she was insinuating “over social justice issues”, (a very large umbrella there, btw). The scriptures has everything g we need. Should we change our beliefs to reign in young people. I don’t believe so. Stand fast in love, truth, mercy. God’s work to bring them back; not ours. Incidentally, heard these changes coming to CA: ruclips.net/video/-daT77MJ36U/видео.html 😳😳😳
Very well said, the Church is charged by Jesus Himself to proclaim the Gospel and teach us to obey all His commands. That and that alone is our mission. The message is what it is and we like the prophets are accountable to proclaim it but if they don't believe we are not held responsible for that. As I told my friend when I came to Christ, it wasn't a get out of hell card that changed me it was entering into the new life that changed me. We offer only Christ to a dying world because the answer to death has always been life which of course He is.
THANK YOU for this interview. I was nodding my head through the whole thing. As someone who will be giving birth to a mixed race child very soon, these movements are not just disheartening but frightening for the future of my son. They are only creating more division, anger, fear and disparity. They leave no room for forgiveness, mercy, compassion or individual responsibility. As Christians, we already face hostility from the current culture and I feel it will only get worse if these worldviews continue to permeate this country. Thank you for shining the light and truth of Christ on these topics.
I'm a mom of a (white) boy I gave birth to last year. We're in this together in slightly different ways, but I'm encouraged to know I'm not alone in wanting to parent the next generation to display Biblical humanity towards one another. I hope both our babies are part of a plan He has.
This was SO good. I’ve already shared it with friends and family. I have to say, my husband is an empath & musician. A former nominal catholic who converted to Christianity about 30ish years ago. He always wanted to have (be) a kind of church his friends would relate to. Very social justice oriented. Very “passion driven”. He went to seminary on the west coast and I really think that’s where he got some more left leaning social justice leaning professors and fellow students, and became very alienated from the churches that we attended. Very critical of pastors who saw us (Christians) vs “the world”. Culture wars etc. in the last year, we started attending a new church and recently the pastor is really delving into racism & white privilege. They are having “Be the Bridge” small groups, etc., it seems; taking for granted that every cop killing reflects racism, I’m VERY uncomfortable with the direction this is going; my husband finally feels like he’s found his people. We disagree about systemic racism, standing/kneeling for the flag...I’ve heard him talk against the patriarchy (makes me so sad)...these are really strange times indeed. He thinks white Christians should somehow help to heal or bear the responsibility of past sins against blacks whose ancestors were slaves. I’m more of an individual to individual person. He thinks there’s a standard where the Bible agrees with generational sin. I think this CRT ideology could be the undoing of the church. I just see it as so destructive.
Talking against patriarchy is like telling God you don't like His system at the most basic point. It will destroy the idea of family and isn't that exactly what Satan would like to happen?
I’m appreciative of this conversation. It’s refreshing to hear, particularly in a time when the conversation we’re having as a society doesn’t necessarily seem to be biblically informed. I, myself, can admit that I have been influenced by this theory and am grappling with questions of how it may contradict the biblical world view that I desire to have. While I’m very appreciative of these types of conversations, I still have a lot of questions. I do believe racism exists and is an issue of the heart that perhaps some, not all, people have not yet to confront. I have experienced racism first hand. Not in the sense of “I feel like that was racism”. I was actually called the n word. I’m wondering how we as a church can address the sin of racism while at the same time exposing the problematic nature of what is the topic of this specific podcast. I haven’t seen a lot of pastors address racism as an issue of the heart that also calls for repentance. I don’t have all the answers and I’m realizing I most likely have to unlearn certain things, but these are just some of my thoughts. I’d love to hear other people’s perspective as well:)
Monique was a great guest. Great conversation. Praying for her ministry that God will bless them and elevate her message of TRUTH above the CRT message.
I can't wait to be able to get your book! I watched a Christian booktuber do a review and she loved it too! Thank you for being unafraid and showing others to stand our ground.
Question around 13:00, “The Coddling of The American Mind” really lays out why college students are embracing this framework/worldview. Highly recommend this book. Love you, Monique! Thanks for walking with me through this journey.
It is great to meet you Monique, you remind me of of a girl that was in middle school at the time, she was very faithful in the GOOD NEWS CLUB.. By now she may be looking like you...
I’m very grateful for these primer videos of critical race theory before I tackle a book on the subject. I appreciate the knowledge you ladies have passed along to me. You’ve also helped me understand the enormity of the battle between the Christian world view versus these other world views. I’ll stick with Christ. I prefer seeing all of us as his children rather than as divided siblings. I have much to learn and grow in Christ. Thank you for aiding in my growth 🙏🏼.
This was so helpful and informational. I shy away from conversations because I don’t know what to say. This gives me some great tools. Thank you both so much for getting this message out ❤️
Great point about many pastors not going to seminary. Can you refer a resource with a list of the scriptures that can be helpful in conversations about this.
Loving this interview, thank you! In 1st year studies and getting CRT in module content and the news, knowing it doesn't gel with biblical world view, but didn't have a formulated rebuttal. This is a good start. Thank you.
One of the best interviews i've watched on this topic. Really good specifically because it's from the perspective of former critical theory follower. A bit of much about political discourse, but likes it because of its 100% bible based discussion.
Beautiful and hopeful conversation, thank you both. Hopefully voices like yours will help avoid every version of tribal warfare we seem to always create anew.
Thank you sooooo much both of you for working for the Truth and the Kingdom! I am so encouraged today, to the point of tears. Thank you for your COURAGE!
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55: 6-11
I think CRT is a way for people to remove accountability for their own actions and sin. If they can put the blame on someone else, then they can continue to have an entitled mindset. I believe racism is very real and prevalent in the country but “White privilege” is not destroying Black communities. We do a good job of doing that on our own because of SIN.
Excellent interview both of you! Very helpful! Appreciate you both! We are reconciled through the cross of Christ and are in need of nothing more -- pure gold! God's word is sufficient!
This discussion is a breath of fresh air. I too try to see the world as brothers and sisters in Christ. It doesn’t mean I don’t have biases or things to learn, but it means my ultimate instruction comes from God and He shows me what adjustments I can make (and lets me know that I am OK...unlike what Critical Race Theory suggests).
Thank you for this interview, it is incredibly inspiring to hear both of you just thinking through this with honesty and dependence on the Bible, and with such clarity. It was amazing to be reminded that reconciliation, for a Christian person, has got to be central to what we're doing. To borrow a LOTR quote, your show is making me think: "Christian theology is back on the menu, boys (girls??)"
Inter-racial families should be part of this conversation. Tragically my son who was raised by me alone (because his father abandoned us) and was raised Christian has become a "black nihilist" and anarchist and has abandoned me. Believe me, I do not sense "white guilt". I gave my life to them and was in many ways a slave to them, but as Christ was also a servant to us. I grew up during the 60s and 70s when young people believed we'd overcome the worst of racism. Sadly someone, behind that curtain of Oz, switched the reset button. Please pray for Ben and that he'll come back to the God of his youth and his mom.
Any time, in any circumstance, when a person is asked to define/describe a philosophy or theory, and they give you one or two sentences without mentioning a single key text or thinker who has contributed to that philosophy or theory, then you should question whether or not the person is giving their definition/description in good faith. There is absolutely no reason to be this vague about critical theory. This vagueness permits all manner of equivocations and misunderstandings, and allows critical theory to simply become a placeholder for any political or cultural phenomena that is loosely associated with "the left" that a person happens to find distasteful.
I'm praying for the lost to get saved I'm praying for our brothers and sisters who are affected by the raging fires in CA, Co and cat 4 hurricane to be safe and their property and animals they desperately need our prayers please pray for them I'm praying for everyone everyday God bless you all
During the 80s and 90s there was a movement for unity at all cost; the cost of compromise of doctrine, standing on Scripture, behavior and the list goes on. I believe that ecumenical movement has contributed to our willingness to accept secular worldview within the church. Your thoughts?
Thank you sisters.! It's not utopia Christ is building, Christ is the righteous judge. Bible is relevant in our times more than ever. God ruled Israel without king, taxes and just using judges for 400 years. We know what happened to Israel when they elected themselves a king and down went everything for them. Leaning on God and His kingdom principles are best any day.
Thank you once again Allie, for bringing such great content. Really appreciate this conversation, for bringing more light than heat to such an important topic. You do great work.
Loved this interview and the ending where Allie touched on the dance many Christians begin to make when that take on the CRT perspective was dead on. All of a sudden they have to shift how they see biblical truths in order to justify that worldview. That has been my experience with many friends and relatives and as I say, I'm not willing to die on that hill.
I am def of the Biblical unity/justice cloth, but I need clarification on a point I heard around 25:15 - 25:40 that personal responsibility is the sole reason for proper punishment. I know the OT talks of things like my father’s sins carry forth in generations...does that provide a counterpoint here or was that erased with the New Covenant?
Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. Generational sin carries consequences that are not executed in human courts. In other words, human beings do not have the right to punish each other or to demand retribution from each other because of the sins of the fathers.
You don’t even have to leave Micah 6:8 to understand the full perspective of justice that those who subscribe to CRT overlook: “Seek justice, LOVE MERCY, and walk HUMBLY with your God.”
As a Christian, I can understand and live through the bible. However, there are non-Christians and atheists that are just as kind and caring as any Christian I've met. As we talk about living in Christ, we need to make sure we're inclusive of everyone that believes in treating others as they would be treated without feeling that we need to convert them to Christianity. As a youth leader, I had to deal with many different religions. I broke down our purpose as, treat others as you would want them to treat you. If someone doesn't treat you nicely, forgive them and don't stop treating others nicely.
So clear and SCRIPTURAL! SCRIPTURE MATTERS!! Thank you for the clarity! I would hope the Christians who believe in CRT, will see that they are being hog swaggered! The scripture encourages unity among the brethren! We don't need outsiders, ( of the body of Christ), to tell us how to address issues in our family!!
Thank u for speaking truth into such a bent ideology. CRT will split denominations. It does not belong in the Church! Looking forward to reading your books

Praying for you often Monique! When they start with ad hominim name-calling, you know you’re hitting a nerve and starting to have an effect.
God bless Monique for overcoming her CRT worldview.
This was a great interview.
“Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55: 6-11
This is incredible. God bless this woman Monique and thank you Lord for the work you've done in her heart and her boldness.
Can you please list the scriptures that your guest was speaking about. I need to read and study them. Thank you for an excellent interview
This was a great dialogue. Thank you ladies 🙏🏼
Facts
I hope this woman runs for office.
Thank you for addressing this in detail. Very informative and valuable.
@ 29:30 Monique hits the nail on the head!
Very helpful, insightful discussion. Thanks, sisters!
Love this, also can't wait to read your book Allie
Excellent conversation! Very helpful, Monique was well spoken and well informed on the subject matter.
This is a wonderful video. I love these two ladies and the clarity with which they present this issue.
"Where do you get this idea from Scripture?" Great question...
Thank you both for this interview. It was very refreshing....but then hearing the truth is. May God continue to bless you both. 😌💖
Great interview!
This was very helpful. I have been wrestling with how I'm supposed to respond as a believer.
That was great. So informative and inspiring! Thank you Monique and Allie for speaking out and being unashamed to speak the truth.
This is EXCELLENT! Thank you so, so much. Loved it all.
As a Bible-believing follower of Christ, I'm feeling pretty oppressed right now.
Seriously
Any time, in any circumstance, when a person is asked to define/describe a philosophy or theory, and they give you one or two sentences without mentioning a single key text or thinker who has contributed to that philosophy or theory, then you should question whether or not the person is giving their definition/description in good faith. There is absolutely no reason to be this vague about critical theory. This vagueness permits all manner of equivocations and misunderstandings, and allows critical theory to simply become a placeholder for any political or cultural phenomena that is loosely associated with "the left" that a person happens to find distasteful.
I'm praying for the lost to get saved I'm praying for our brothers and sisters who are affected by the raging fires in CA, Co and cat 4 hurricane to be safe and their property and animals they desperately need our prayers please pray for them I'm praying for everyone everyday God bless you all
EXCELLENT! Thank you both! Great, informative conversation!!!!
During the 80s and 90s there was a movement for unity at all cost; the cost of compromise of doctrine, standing on Scripture, behavior and the list goes on. I believe that ecumenical movement has contributed to our willingness to accept secular worldview within the church. Your thoughts?
This was a really great episode. Very Helpful!!!
This is an awesome interview. Thank you ladies.
Very good learning opportunity for professing christians and others. I've shared it on social media and I hope it's watched.
Thank you once again Allie, for bringing such great content. Really appreciate this conversation, for bringing more light than heat to such an important topic. You do great work.
This was so very helpful! Thank you for posting!
This is so encouraging. Grateful to the Lord for Monique.
This is a good question and I would like to hear an answer.
I was wondering the same thing??
Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. Generational sin carries consequences that are not executed in human courts. In other words, human beings do not have the right to punish each other or to demand retribution from each other because of the sins of the fathers.
I’m sharing this everywhere!
God be the glory. This was a good conversation. I will share this with others.
I have sent this out to many friends!
This was an amazing interview.
Nothing as enjoyable then hearing people who know and love Our God.
Thank you so much for educating me. I really appreciate you taking time to teach about these very important biblical truths.
Monique nailed it. Compassionate Christians not invested in the Word become highly susceptible to the ideology.
What is the verse Monique is talking about in James that says you should “not put motives to the heart?”
You don’t even have to leave Micah 6:8 to understand the full perspective of justice that those who subscribe to CRT overlook: “Seek justice, LOVE MERCY, and walk HUMBLY with your God.”
Great point! Most people who claim they are "seeking justice" right now are not walking humbly with God.
What a great video! Thanks ladies! :)
Nicholas Cruz was in a Restorative Justice system where he never had personal responsibility. He lost his father figure-makes one more at risk also.
I finally get to say, great video for a change. So....great video.
Thank you for standing for truth. I stand with you.
She is excellent. Totally right on with scripture.
Amen! When you aren’t wrapped up in the word, it’s easier to get wrapped up in the world !!!
God bless you two sisters🙌🏾🙏🏾♥️Appreciate your knowledge & wisdom..GLORY to GOD🙌🏾
Excellent work ladies
Excellent video. I learned a lot! I have never really known anything about Critical Race Theory. I guess I have been out of the loop. It sound like a liberal theory that is rooted in confusion. God's plan is always the BEST!!!!
