Love my SnC650w. Amazing machine. After loading mat, hit Scan button. Screen will display mat with your cork piece on it. Now you can move your SVG/FCM on the screen and precisely position it to save every inch of cork. Eliminating waste. Feature also allows putting cork anywhere on the mat, thereby utilizing whole mat, rather than always cutting in the same place, or counting squares to check position. Extends life of mats. HTHs. Ditto the suggestion to view Becky at Power Tools With Thread. Check out her older vids to see the 650, b/c she only uses the new ones now. One other is: Julie Fey-Fan Balzer - older vids to see the 650. Julie is a Brother Ambassador. Have fun. The SNC2 rabbit hole is a fun trip. 💕
Thanks for this tutorial. I'm not a great cutter, so this machine looks like a dream. Except all I can imagine is how much cork I'd waste making every mistake there is to make. LOL. Nice watchband!
Wow, great tutorial, your the queen of cork. You mention if we know of other Scan n Cut peeps, well you might want to check out Becky Thompson at Power Tools With Thread. She’s a long armor that runs one and has an in depth on her Scan n Cut. You gals are amazing. I’m tech. challenged and you really are encouraging me to try my hand at the fun. Thanks for all the sharing...and great hair and puppy love💥.
Do you cut pattern pieces for any of your bags? Do you have a video? I’m not good at cutting. I would like to cut a card holder with clear vinyl to add inside a bag ..so like half of your tall wallet
I don’t usually film the cutting part because I assumed it was boring. What part of cutting would you like to see? Specifically with a scan n cut? I don’t usually cut bags on my machine just because I like to butt my pieces together to salvage as much cork as possible.
I just got the brother scan n cut 350. I have lots of patterns from sew sweetness that have these svg files. But I want to try the card slot with the clear window on your tall wallets. Is there a way to make just that side of the wallet on the scan n cut?
Excellent! You've just taught more than any site has! 🙂
Glad to hear that!

Test on cheap cork or do the drawing feature on paper before cutting!
@@SewGnar the drawing feature is what I need. Cheap cork? Oxymoron??!!!
@@Karen626 I mean cork from hobby lobby or Walmart!
