I did highlights last night with E salon. I didn’t screw up my hair. I don’t feel like I need to go call my hair guy and ask him to fix it. Thanks fo giving me the confidence to try it.
Its lovely and shiny if it is all one color but mine is hilited and to do the roots and not get it to run thru the blonde hilites, just didnt work for me.. so I ended up with every color but the one I wanted lol
@@Izzywizzy74if you ever want to give it a go again, I think you should do your roots and balayage at the same time. Get it on your roots and comb it a little bit down further than the roots. Then, do a wet balayage where you spritz the sections with water before applying the lightener and then you smudge the root color and lightener together to make it blend better. I think that could work for what you are describing.
Great job! This is so empowering. Going to the salon for highlights has become STUPID expensive and just like skincare they try to fool you into thinking the haircolor they use is so much better. I love it, and with practice you get better every time. So pretty!
I’ve used eSalon for several years now and I’ve always been very happy with it as well. I’ve used both the root coverage and highlights, too. Highly recommended! Angie is right about this product. 💗
I am a dark brunette and I totally agree with highlights being bright. Even at the salon, my highlights always seem so understated. Most of the time I am disappointed bc they seem so muted. And it costs a small fortune. Def giving these guys a try! Thanks Ang!

Hi Angie! I have always liked your highlighted color, but just love these new highlights! I was a blonde as a child and when I got older it became a more of a mousey blonde, it always naturally turned highlighted in the summer. I started spraying “Sun In” hair lightener in Jr. High to achieve my highlights and then started coloring my hair with L’Oréal in High School, I just combed it in to make my highlights, my hair dressers over the years always told me I did a good job highlighting my own hair. Every few years or so I would have it professionally done and. never liked it as well as doing it myself. As my grays came in I started doing an overall hair color. (56 now) So glad E- Salon is is offering a highlighter! Can’t wait to start my highlighting over my colored hair! Yours are looking so good!🌺
I am just loving you. Gorgeous inside and out. Thank you for teaching others and giving others the courage to save money by learning to do some things for ourselves. I love it!
I did an Esalon all over color during the worst of the pandemic to completely cover old highlights - the color was beautiful and covered all gray and sooooo soft and shiny wow!! So I’m now going to attempt that base color again( hey it’s in the mail now!!) and then when needed add to these highlights
I just paid $330 BEFORE tip for base color, balayage and cut and I think yours looks better. 😒After 2 weeks, I still feel just dirty for paying that much. Thanks for doing this video! I think I’ll try this next!
Thank you for your recommendation. I have been colour my hair for years. However I always paid for my highlight. That is so costly. I ordered esalon pork duct and tried my DIY highlight first time in my life. That was so easy to apply and the outcome is fantastic. At the same time I saved 300-400 dollars. Thanks once again.
I've been using esalon for a couple years now. I use the L'Oreal highlighter you used before. The esalon highlighter is a little pricey since I dont use much. It does save money but I'm happy with the L'Oreal so far.
I am so stoked to try this product! My hair is costing $250-300.00 every 8 weeks. This is nuts! Angie, I have followed you and tried out so many products that you've recommended and haven't been disappointed! I'm heading to my salon one more time and then I'm giving this a shot for coloring. Thank you for all the info!
This turned out super nice!!!! I just ordered my 1st home color from eSalon to cover my roots.. and now can't wait to try the highlights. I am like you, tired of going to the Salon for over $200 every 6 weeks, and I too, thought.... the salon made my hair too dark. Thanks for sharing.
I just use non-permanent/semi-permanent dark blonde dye over my gray & brown hair. It converts the gray to bronde nicely and I can do it whenever as the dye is not permanent. But if I ever become unhappy with this I will try these highlights, its the first home highlight kit I have seen that I may be willing (able) to use.
My hair stylist high lights my hair every 8 weeks but she does it the way you use to do it with a lot more tiny sections plus she goes really close to my roots, but I do a lot more high lights then you seem to put in your hair. I am going to give this a try and see if I can save myself some money because I pay about $300 every 6 to 8 weeks to get my high lights done.

Angie, this product works beautifully on you. Great video. I usually have 3 colors weaved in my hair and yes it is costly, but it is so relaxing for me. ⭐
Which color did you choose for your current hair color on the esalon website? Also, if you slightly tease your roots on each strand before applying bleach you will get a softer effect at scalp with no demarcation and won’t have to worry about applying at an angle. Love your videos!

Very pretty! The blonde highlights go well with your complexion. Nice job, and your hair looks in excellent condition. If you're concerned about your grey roots showing too soon, you could go a shade lighter on the root color.
I actually bought the box you recommended on your last highlights video and I prefer that one. I think it’s a better look with less chunky highlights AND much cheaper than this one, but thanks for sharing!😊
Looks great!!! You did such a good job. I think salons go lighter as highlights can get lighter with time. BUT you can always throw a toner in if needed!
Hi Angie, I was wondering if you had a friend, that perhaps has darker hair. Maybe you could highlight her hair. I have dark hair and I never know what colors to use. Thanks great video
I have dark hair - my natural color is black. I just did the roots this morning and I will do the highlights later today. I am very clumsy and don't follow the rules very well but it is beautiful. I have some grey in my eyebrows and I put some hair color there too. I would not recommend that :-) The color they prepared for me is Dark brown (natural golden) with some mahogany. I was nervous because I kept reading not to put the color on the strands of hair that still have color, I don't know if anyone can do that and in my case the color went everywhere and I love the results. Thank you Angie :-)

Angie, I just did my first eSalon root touch up. I got Dark Blonde. They ask if you want Ammonia or No-Ammonia color. Could you do a video on which you selected and why? I selected ammonia, as I wasn't sure gray coverage would be good without it.
I'm in the DC area and its so expensive for cut and color. Just for cut and highlight it was 240.00 without tip last time. I hardly have any gray so I grew my base out and started using my natural color and highlight heavily. I use to do my own hair along time ago and have been thinking about starting to do it again. I'll stick with my natural base as long as I can (I'll be 61 in March) but still need to highlight. This might be my answer. Thanks Angie!

Since you say you’re debating on the length, I like your hair best when it is bra strap length and just above. 💇🏻♀️ Can’t wait to see what you choose.
The long hair is very ageing on almost anyone who isn't young, and I mean under 35 young. Angie would look better with hair which is cut shorter, than shoulder length, just above , so it would move when she turns her head. She has a long gaunt face, so she needs hair closer to her jawline to negate that masculine gaunt look, and present a more feminine appearance overall.
Looks very pretty, you did a good job. I think I'll try just the highlights, my hair is already natural blonde with silvers coming in around my hairline, so I don't have any roots, never dyed my hair. If I don't mess it up, I think it will be a good solution for me as I do not feel comfortable going to a salon right now. Thanks as always for sharing!!

Your highlights and haircolor are beautiful. Are you loving your hair being so long? Thanks for the lesson. 💕
I am loving my longer hair!! But I do have an appointment for a cut in December... debating between a big chop or just a trim!
@@AngieHotandFlashy good luck deciding. Maybe a little more than a trim, but not a big lop off. LOL...not much help. It'll be beautiful whatever you decide. 💕
HotandFlashy Big chop! 👏🏼
@@AngieHotandFlashy I vote for big chop! Would love to see you in shorter hair...
You're the best and you have saved me so much money😊😊😊
You just knew I’ve been debating on what To do with my hair 😁 I am tired of paying the big bucks but even more tired of looking at my gray hairs.😩 But I also do not want to continue to use drug store dye. I am not giving it another thought, I am getting this product. I trust your recommendations. Thanks Angie😘
You won't regret using eSalon Esther!! It's so much better than drugstore color!
@@AngieHotandFlashy thanks Angie!
Hi! What color did you use for the roots, the entire head (roots)? Thank you for your answere.
I’m sold! Your hair came out beautifully! Sure beats the high, high cost of a salon. Thanks! 💗
I love the results!!!!
Thank you. Just ordered e salon.
Wow, Angie this is your best ever highlight color you look like a top model! Also love your lipstick color can you share what it is, please? Thanks
Looks great. I color my hair at home but I always get a little nervous highlighting my hair. Yours turned out great.
You did an amazing job it looks professionally done you know you have a second calling if things lock down again you can become a hairstylist on the side lol
I can’t wait to try it!!!! Thanks Angie ❤️
Looks great. Thanks Angie Jennifer 😊
You look absolutely gorgeous and you did a great job using the kit for the first time...I don't think anyone would have noticed the things you would do differently next time. Your hair is beautiful! I'm kind of sad I went white so early because I would definitely do this technique and I would probably be impatient and not watch the video either..LOL. XXOO❤
It turned out beautiful! Love it
Great job for first time! Highlights look great. I've used sealing in the past. Love their products.
Your hair looks great! I’m very interested in this product. 👍
Your hair looks amazing!
Since you say you’re debating on the length, I like your hair best when it is bra strap length and just above. 💇🏻♀️ Can’t wait to see what you choose.
like the highlighting but I think your hair is too long
The long hair is very ageing on almost anyone who isn't young, and I mean under 35 young. Angie would look better with hair which is cut shorter, than shoulder length, just above , so it would move when she turns her head. She has a long gaunt face, so she needs hair closer to her jawline to negate that masculine gaunt look, and present a more feminine appearance overall.
Good morning Angie. You’re hair looks great.
Thanks so much!
You're hair looks great. I've been using Esalon highlights for about a year now. Love it
Looks very pretty, you did a good job.
Your hair looks beautiful!
Thank you!
