- Rufus Wainright - Don't Cry for Me Argentina "A Life In A Song" A tribute to the songs of Tim Rice at the Royal Festival Hall, London. 8 July 2014.
Never tired of hearing this Rufus. I am proud to say I have now reached double fingers at your concerts and performances. Up and down the Country. Hope to see you in London this year. Last time I was in London I had a fall in Savoy Street, broke my wrist and ended up at the London University College Hospital. The doc played your music on his smart phone while they were doing the manipulation procedure. The nurses involved with treatment loved your voice. 6:53 😊😊
One of the best renditions of this song that I have ever heard.
Listening to this angel sing makes me think I’m in heaven.
i love his interpretation of this song - he has an incredible voice,
No llores por mi, Argentina. 🤍 Wonderful, thank you !
Con la sua stupenda, unica voce Rufus regala
emozioni a fior di pelle! Meravigliosa interpretazione! Grazie Rufus
When I moved to Kentucky Center College put this play on and I was a child in the play and this just made me cry so hard
He has a wonderful voice and so creative!!
Is there no end to this mans talents? Amazing
Perhaps in the trash can, where this version of this song needs to be. 🤮
Yes. His latest album is utter shite.
@@thomhardcastle9897 Bullshit. What a fool.
@@DR-hy6is Or maybe it's the opinion of someone with whom you disagree, therefore calling them a fool for a subjective opinion on music makes you out to be a bit of a dick. Do you really think his latest album even compares to the likes of Want One, Want Two or Poses?
I love you Rufus I love song thank you.
Thank you for uploading!
My favorite version of this song so far!
❤
wow.... goose pimples, on goose pimples
female version: Lea Salonga
male version : Rufus Wainright
He sings better than me.
Interesting version
💖
Soprano alto is missing...!
Anyone know what key he's singing it in?
His best voice was at Sting's concert.
Absolutely
Yes, that was excellent! Did you hear Robert Downey Jr. Sing at that concert!? Beautiful voices!
Check out him singing: Who knows where the time goes !! Another beautiful song!
No... Julie’ s the absolute best. Period.
What key is this in
Hahaha :) just laughing:)
Ok, but Karen Carpenter?
"Good morning"!
Oh dear ! What was he thinking this song doesn’t suit his voice at all , but brave attempt
Wake up, dear!
Open the mouth to sing
Willian rodrigues pereira idiot!
Roy Orbison barely moved his lips..
HA Ha - That;s me laughing at Willian giving the great Rufus advise.
@@davidschweitzer6464 great? My time: HA-HA
Are you still available for singing lessons little Willy?
his English pronunciation is not very good for this song. but I still like the song
Un magnifico acompañamiento orquestal, con un terrible solista. Sin duda, el peor solista que he escuchado interpretando esta canción. Hasta un gallo se le sale en el minuto 5:33, muy lamentable
He sings it well but personally I think he should have change it to "a boy you once knew" since when he sings "a girl" it's kind of odd -- he's not a girl.
tbh I don't think many people mind or notice, I reckon you'd find more people irked if he went out of the way to change the gender from the original that everyone's used to. It would make him seem a bit insecure if he felt the need to change it imo considering the song is just a carbon copy cover of the original song, as opposed to a dramatically different/remixed single that he's released as a single from his own album. He's covering it as part of a tribute to the original writer, not to tell his own story through the song. The song is still about Eva Peron.
Jim M Get over yourself... He did what HE wanted to do. Sing it yourself, and post a video 👍🏼
Poor guy, can’t compere to Madonna
He does it his own way.
The best version is still by Julie Covington from 1976
Oh dear, wake up!
I also like Madonna. But it is personal taste and preference
que asco.
is a shet.
His scarf did a better cover of this song...
