I think Victor and Jayce for sure since they are champions in the game?
Yah this is where the gamers have the advantage - any character from the game won't die in the show - but I'm also wondering why I'm watching the show now - because I don't think they are even ALLOWED to resolve conflicts between characters due to the game requiring all the characters to sort of be ready/willing to fight at any time. This show could just be endless seasons of no-hero arcs or resolutions. I'm desperate for a happily ever after and I don't think that CAN happen - even if they want it to - unless they decided to end the game.

It's possible if they can create a common enemy, and since there is still The Void and the Black Mist, it's always possible seeing even cannonically enemies character fighting together for a resolution.
They can also kill characters, Misfortune killed Gangplank once and then they revived him in the story.
"Power comes to those who will do anything to achieve it" Silco had said early in the season. He almost got everything he wanted. But in the end he lost it all because of the one thing he just wasn't willing to do. It was poetic and sad. He might be my all time favorite villian now.

I wouldn't even say he was a villain. A monster, sure... The dude threatened children, probably killed some, and has a shit ton of blood on his hands. But all he ever did was in pursuit of freedom for his people. His means were ugly, bad, but effective... And if not for Jinx blasting the whole council tower, he would have made what the undercity needed. Peace and independance.
I think it is well shown in this Act. Finn, and the other Chembarons, treat Silco's operation like an enterprise, to make money, and build power for themselves over the Undercity; and would bow their head before the rich of Piltover if it meant getting more business with them.
On the other hand, Sevika and Silco treats it like a cause. They aren't in it for the money, or even the power. They are in it for what it means, and what is needed. Silco dosen't care if the business goes bad, and surely would rather die than make business with Piltover unless it meant sovreingty.
He finally understood why Vander became the way he was, he gave up the dream of independence because he couldn't bare to cost of his adopted children, now Silco finally understood too.
The fact that Silco was just trying to help, and didn't blame her at all just makes it even more emotional.

@@JynxRyl Everyone went the opposite from how they started. Vi put down the knife and sought peace, instead of fighting for vengeance; Powder started innocent and wanting to help- Vi started her breakdown and the last person she thought cared for her dying by her hand (Silco) cemented jinx; and Silco moved from giving anything for his cause..to finding someone to protect. I think he really cared for her, and was honest when he said he would never give her up- look how frantic he was with Singed about keeping her alive.

Yea in the end she couldn’t accept that Jinx really wasn’t Powder anymore. She made things a lot worse by pretending she was broken instead of loving her as she was like Silco did.

@@cartoonishidealism582 Through sheer trauma mixed with manipulation and a strong fear of abandonment. You think she wanted to be a killer, or crazy? All Vi had to do once was accept her for who she is or call her Jinx even once. Heck even tell her the full truth of Marcus seperating them. But we all know she couldn't neither would you or anyone else in that life or death situation. Bargaining is the first thing that comes to mind when lives are at stake, which became Vi's downfall. The only one who truly loved her in the moment was Silco and to say "it's okay" after witnessing someones farther figure die right infront of you clearly isn't okay.
My favorite thing about silco was how he had a coffee mug that Jinx made him on his desk and an ashtray that she doodled on. Gonna go buy all of jinx's skins now, can't wait for season 2!!

I thought it was going to be one of Caitlyn's parents' heads. Likely the father. But then I read up on Caitlyn's original lore and figured it impossible. It's not their time yet unless Riot decides to retcon her backstory.
It makes sense, but it's kind of stupid too. Like, why can't her head be on a plate? It's based on the game, it doesn't directly lead to the events of the game. This is an original story that is inspired by existing characters, the writers can do whatever they want.

@@YaBoyDav_ yeah but i think it was implied by the council accepting eitherway, there would probably be peace with or without jinx. They wouldnt hold a vote again or cancel a decision. Just thinking about it though. I may be wrong
@@aezer0th They would still needed somebody's head on a platter Since they were going to make a deal with SIlco, they'd need to get somebody else as payback. Remember that Vi told the whole council that a person named Jinx committed the terrorist attack at the academy and stole gemstone?
I just finished your reaction, and I'm so glad you guys understood that jinx just wanted to be accepted the way she was. The way Vi saw it, she wanted Powder back but that means jinx has to change. Shape herself the way others want to. Silco accepted Jinx the way she was, and tried to help her with her demons. It so complicated to think about, but most importantly, it's extremely sad.
So true. Jinx is literally who she is now. Vi needs to accept that. Like Jinx said, Vi has changed too so she needs to realize that she doesn’t need powder back to be able to love Jinx. They’ve all changed. All they can do now is love each other ❤️

@@mkmc94 eh, it would have happened regardless. Not as a killer, but powders psychosis. She had it as a kid but neither Vander nor Vi ever noticed. Silco did project onto jinx a lot but it's not like he forced her against her will to be a killer or anything or be aweapon maker. She was naturally gifted and just needed time to actually perfect things. Plus her tagging along him was because of her attachment. She needed to feel important to someone so she helped Silco on her own. PTSD and Vi being abruptly gone was what contributed to Jinx. Like people blame Silco (which is mostly true) for starting the whole thing by taking Vander. But this whole mess actually started with Vi and the others breaking into Jayces place and Vanders refusal to give anyone up. Like yeah, Silco is toxic and at least half of what he says to jinx is to make Vi look bad, but he probably is the best person to handle her instability. Like when you have a family member who is crazy (talking from experience) you can't change them. They're like that now. You can do things that will help surprise them, but you need to learn how to work around their illness. Again, Powder wasa ticking time bomb if Vander and Vi never noticed anything and babied her.
Silco didn't accept Jinx the way she was, he only accepts jinx just as Vi only accepts Powder. "You need to let powder die".
He's always pushed her to become jinx.

*Jinx's rocket launcher is a shark with a black, scar-like detail on its left eye. It's called fishbone*
*Silco has a black scar on his left eye.*
*Silco loved sea monsters and Jinx wanted to make something Silco really liked, so Jinx made a sea monster inspired weapon based on Silco (like the coffee mug she had made for him).*
*Jinx used the "Fishbone the black eyed Sea monster" weapon to kill the council because she thought that is what Silco would have wanted.*
*In the game she banters with "Fishbone" like it were parent-child conversation.*
*"We will show them. We will show them all"*

The significant part about this show is that silco wasn’t necessarily the bad guy; he wanted independence for his people because he was mistreated and loved so terribly. Silco has been betrayed his whole life, but he trusted jinx, which was his biggest weakness; he truly loved her. However, He didn’t know or love powder which is who vi loved, which pushed jinx further and further away. In the end, silco was not a good person, but he was an amazing father “ don’t cry, you’re perfect” is only something a father would say to his daughter, and it have that much weight behind it. Him saying that was all jinx ever wanted to hear that she wasn't wrong or bad she was perfect the way she is
Yes this is true. That’s why I’m thinking that Vi needs to accept and love jinx and understand that she won’t get the old powder back. It’s all so sad but such a beautiful story.
The scene where Silco sits under the statue of Vander is great.
He probably had this statue built to honour there memory of his old friend, and now he's sitting there reflecting on how he finally understands why Vander gave up on fighting.
"Is there anything so undoing as a daughter?"
That line is so powerful
YOu don't turn into a murderous drug overlord and not be the bad guy. Vander wanted the same, didn't know how to get there but did things the right way. Silco caused all of this and got his justice in the end, ironically at the hands of his stolen daughter.

@@chaywarburton3488 I think what makes Silco interesting is that he is a multi-layered character. He's not totally black, and not totally white.
On the one hand, you can't agree with his methods and turn a blind eye on the fact that his actions hurt a lot of people in the undercity. He literally drugs kids and use them for his own purpose, like he did with Deckard in act 1 for example. And according to Ekko, he kills those who oppose him.
On the other hand, you also can't ignore the fact that he still had a lot of humanity still in him. The fatherly love for Jinx, his dreams of freedom, his regrets for what he did to Vander (he even had a statue built in his honour).
All of these combined is what makes Silco such a great character, in addition to being mega badass.
Hard to love him, but hard to hate him as well.
-I hope Season 2 focuses more on Vi. This season has focused more on Jinx, so I hope it's Vi's(and Cait) season, to stop Jinx
-I don't think Mel's dead. Her back plates glowed, before the rocket blasted. She could prob have saved Jayce and Viktor.
Yes those back plates have to be significant. She also seemed to sense the rocket coming. I don’t think she’ll die ❤️🔥
@@JynxRyl there is an item in the game called "solari" that gives a shield to the closest caracters.. and it's similar to what mel has in her back. So, that. But i think mel is gonna die, her shield wouldn't resist the impact.
I think Vi, while initially being a more interesting character in early in act 1. The latter half of act 1 Vander takes the lead, showing the reality in what in means to be the leader of the undercity. Being the strongest only gets you so far, he needs his family to live in peace and peace requires compromise. After act 1 Vi is quickly outshone by other characters such as Viktor and Silco (by extension Jinx). In the third act Silco, ironically comes to realise why Vander sacrificed everything to save his family. I have hopes that they make Vi a more interesting character outside of the action sequences, as she really excels in that department already. At the moment to me, she's the naive hero who thinks all the problems in her life and her country can only be solved in her way.
24:25 I love what you said here, Vi tried so hard to get her sister back away from Silco. I think she didn't really stoped for a minute and thought about the change Powder went trough, the trauma and anxiety. She's another person and not her little sister anymore. She has grown up to become who she is now, Jinx.

Peace was newer on, because one of the conditions for Jayce to have peace was handing over Jinx and Silko was never going to do that.
Silco wouldn’t have handed over Jinx and he did not agree to the deal as yet so the fact that the counsel members were agreeing to their independence anyway probably meant that it would still be on even if he didn’t hand over Jinx. It seems they were all over it now.
@@JynxRyl no, the council members were just voting so they could agree on peace whenever they got jinx. That was still part of their deal.
@@JynxRyl You can't really sign a deal of independence without the other party being present. Unfortunately as soon Jayce said "Had over Jinx for peace" he doomed any chance for peace, atleast with Silco.
There's a lot more story to go with Viktor, Warwick, Caitlyn, Singed, Ekko, Heimerdinger, and more. I'm expecting more tears in season 2.

Really enjoyed going on this ride with you two, thanks for all of your great videos! That last dinner scene is going to stick in my memory for a long time. Jinx's desire to be accepted is heartbreaking, with Silco giving that to her and his words from episode 3 echoing in her ears as she shoots the rocket. The Vander and Silco parallels are wonderful too... and I love the callback to the first episode where Ekko says that the sucker who bought everything from Benzo's shop (Jayce) didn't even try to haggle. Now we're all waiting for season 2!
Mel’s back was shining when the missile hit the window, and she turned her head, so I have this theory that maybe that was some “power” she has, and would create a protective shield and MAYBE is going to save her and some of the councils, and I’m hoping one of those is Caitlyn’s mom. But yes I think that that shiny back thing wasn’t something random, I think it means something

I think this was a perfect open ended story on itself - the heart of the story is about 2 sisters being ripped apart by circumstance, then trying everything to get back together to their old relation only to find they have changed so much that that simply isn't there and a new status quo is attained. Sad as it may be, what's left open can easily be imagined where it would lead to (Vii & Cait back together, Jinx lone wolf, council dead, war unavoidable) if not for the confirmed season 2 where I'm sure Mel, Jayce & Vicktor will survive somehow (Mel shield?) and more trouble Vii & Cait awaits as well as new storylines coming into the mix.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is I loved this ending before I knew a season 2 was coming that based on the teaser is a direct continuation of this story. While I'm glad more of this amazing show is coming, it still stands very well on it's own as an open ended story with a completed through-line.
The moment Jinx fired Fishbones is the moment the last piece of Powder finally died. Now it's only Jinx and her only Friends are Fishbones the Rocket launcher and Pow Pow the Minigun
I think it was mostly the moment she offed Silco by reflex. She probably thought he would fire on her, not on Vi, and shot to defend herself from treason... Only to realize he would have never shot her, and would have let the world burn before letting anyone hurt her.
She jinxed it. Again. Killed her surrogate dad. I do think this was the moment she fully became Jinx.

Someone said that Powder last act was killing Silco, by reflex.
And Jinx's first act was avenging him.
I think that Silco was my favorite villain in a very long time, maybe even ever. He was so complex and rich. He had a vision that was compelling. And he had loyalties. I one hundred percent believed him when he told Jinx he never would have given her to the council as a sacrifice to gain peace. I was just like, that is true. How rare is that in a villain? I don't even believe heroes half the time.
Vi knows that she’s the one who created Jinx because she’s the one who taught Powder to hate Piltover and topsiders, and encouraged her to continue building bombs; and that’s exactly what Jinx did. Bombs kill and teenage Vi didn’t realize that she inadvertently told Powder to kill.

Idk I wouldn't fault Vi for doing that, remember they're both victims of that battle on the bridge, they saw Piltover officers killing both their parents so naturally they'd develop a hatred. Vi encouraged Powder's 'strengths' so that she can protect herself, they live in the undercity ffs the 'city of crime' they needed to utilize their strengths by any means necessary to even survive in that place. It wasn't like she told powder to go kill innocent people on the other side, sure they stole from them but mainly their hatred was towards the officers and the council(for their negligence). I think what ultimately led up to the creation of Jinx is the summation of every single shitty thing that has ever happened to Powder + the fostering of a crimelord.

I think Mel has powers and will shield them. She was the only one who sensed it was coming, and right before it hits, her back glows and if you pause right as the symbol on her back glows, her clothes disappear. I wonder if she is the upcoming new champion?
Yes she had on the white Dress but after the gold plates glowed all I could see was brown and I was wondering why. I really think she’ll survive.
@@JynxRyl Yeah same. Jace will definitely survive, and I see no other way he would've been able to unless someone interfered.
I love that Jinx's character throughout the whole series is that she revolves around other people. She lets her life be driven by seeking approval, like with impressing Silco. She tells Vi that it's up to her to decide whether she's Powder or Jinx, because she feels she's different due to the actions of others. Only when Silco dies by her own actions does she realize that it's not up to anyone else anymore. She realizes she gets to decide who she is, and accepts Jinx as her identity.
Since Jayce and Viktor are Champions in League of Legends and their lore isnt close to be finished yet, im 100% sure they will survive jinxs blast. For the others tho, i dont think theyll have that much luck and will probably die, and with that denying the possibility of peace between Piltover and Zaun. In my opinion, Mel is going to die as well, and her mother might have a bigger role in season 2, i really dont see how Mel could survive that, with the rocket flying directly onto her. Its still kind of a 50 50, maybe she'll survive it somehow, but we'll see. For now, im damn hyped to watch season 2, this is easily one of the best shows i've ever seen. Great work to all the people behind this masterpiece!

Mel is gonna die for sure cuz she will be the key to trigger the war with Noxus by her mother.
i can also see it as a jink, there will be no boom. The missile fails to blow on impact.

Love that they give Jinx her original red eyes. I was waiting to see how it would come to be and they did not disappoint. Also, not me feeling bad for Silco, he really loved Jinx.

If Mel doesn’t survive, I feel like her mother would start a war or bring more Noxians soldiers to deal with Pitover problems.

There's actually a theory about the golden tattoo on her back that shows it was kind of a shield called as solari

The last thing jinx did in the show was avenge her father ... The irony, jinx had no major goal until silco dies, now I think she'll let the world burn
In the game there is an item called Zhonya's Hourglass that, for a few seconds, makes someone invulnerable and causes the player glow gold when used. Mel glowing could be a reference to that.
No i think it's locket of the Iron Solari. In the flashback at the start of Episode 5 she wears symbols that perfectly resemble Locket.
@@mathies3598 I've not played in quite some time and hadn't seen the locket since they changed the icon, but you are correct that the new icon (as well as other sun imagery elements found in other Solari-related things) looks quite a lot like the symbol on her dress in the flashback. Sticking to the game effects, locket would be better than hourglass since she could shield everyone with it.
@@locke03 well to be fair locket gives an AOE shield too. It doesn't make you completely invulnerable like hourglass but it might be enough to save some lives.

Powder is already too far gone since Vi left her,

But Silco love Jinx, no matter what kind of maniac she came, Silco still loves her

That's the difference.
That kinda makes it sound like silco was better for her than Vi. I think it’s more nuanced than that. People and characters seem to stress the difference between jinx and powder but throughout the show it is pretty clear that she is a mix of both of them, at least till the end. Both Vi and silco love her unconditionally but I don’t think either of them can comprehend or accept that she is a mix of powder and jinx and not just one. Vi didn’t accept her unhealthy and harmful behaviours and what she did to people whereas silco was an enabler and encouraged her unhealthy behaviours. Silco shaped jinx and he projects onto her so of course he accepts her behaviour. Also he says to her at the beginning of the season ‘jinx is perfect’ which implies that powder isn’t. He wants her to become jinx and when she does at the end he says ‘you are perfect’ which shows that he may only accept her as jinx/if she is becoming jinx. And he has made jinx only accept herself as jinx and not powder. Whilst I love silco and jinx’s relationship I think it’s important to note that he was a flawed father figure who messed her up deeply

Viktor is sitting just behind Jayce and maybe he has some new magical abilities now since his last transformation with the hexcore. We know from watching the fights in ep 8 and 9 that Jayce and Vi's hextech weapons can create defensive shields. Viktor's leg and hand are maybe like hextech weapons now and can create a shield?
As far as Mel is concerned, I think it's 50/50 whether she's going to die or not, I wouldn't be surprised by any of those 2 cases. But it would be harder to find an explanation of how she survived, if she does.
All the other council members are almost 99% going to die in my opinion. Caitlyn will never forgive Jinx for that since her mom is there.
Caitlyn and her mom was just starting to see eye to eye in my opinion since episode 8. It’s sad that she’s gonna lose her mom now and she’ll definitely have it out for Jinx 😩
If Caitlyn's mom dies, that puts her more against Jinx and drives a wedge between Vi and Caitlyn.

I believe wholeheartedly that he loved Jinx and tried his best (which is part of what makes him a great villain), but I still believe he was a bad dad. Although to be fair - I imagine that raising a daughter with such intense trauma is extremely difficult.
He loved her no doubt about that but he was a Terrible dad and enabled her traumas and added fuel to her fire of craziness
He projected his own insecurities onto Jinx he loved her yes, but he was a narcissist and crammed himself into her feelings as a way to gaslight and manipulate her. He was not a good father, not the way that she needed him to be. Neither Silco nor Vi truly wanted JInx/Powder to coexist one wanted the other and it was a drastic push and pull for her. Silco wanted to erase every facet of Powder that he possibly could as a way to gain her affections and trust. As someone who has had a narcissist father. He wanted control, but good try. He loved her but not the right way it was incredibly toxic.

I think Mel has some kind of a magical ability to protect herself from the back plates. Jayce and Viktor have to survive since they are characters in the game. But I think Cait's mum will die along with the other counselors.

The end of the dinner scene is heartbreaking. Vi is doing the cliched "remember who you are" shit because talking isn't what she's good at. She punches things to solve her problems. She doesn't understand that dredging up horrible, traumatic memories might to be a good thing for someone as mentally unstable as Jinx. Silco isn't telling her to stop because he's afraid he'll lose control of Powder, he's doing it to stop Vi from hurting his daughter.
And he gets shot for it.
Jinx's final scenes really go to me. After yet another mental breakdown, she accidentally kills Silco and he forgives her and tells her she's perfect. Afterwards, Jinx isn't crying, screaming, hallucinating, or even laughing. She just looks and acts...tired. Resigned.
For so long now, she's fought, with herself and against the world, to figure out who she is. And now that she's killed yet another person whom she loved and who loved her, I think Jinx has decided...
She really is Jinx. And if she's going to be a jinx, then she's going to be the biggest, baddest one possible.
Burn it all. Let chaos reign.
There's so much potential here for next season. Jinx's story can continue, we can see Vi and Cait starting to work together and how that happened, Noxus will 100% want to get involved (even more so if Mel diedthere), Warwick is almost ready (we can see him in Singed lab), maybe Camillle can come into this whole story now that hextech is popular (and we'll finally have her and Caitlyn storyline), Victor vs Jace stilll hasn't happened and Victor is still not "transformed" fully into his in game version, maybe they can show us some other characters like Twitch or Orianna or Mundo or Ziggs or Urgot, Singed is still doing his experiments, Ekko must build his time device and work with Heimerdinger, Zaun is now separate to Piltover... so much can happen!

most of the council are under influence of Mel, when Jayce proposed war before everybody disagree cause she wasn't with it, this time Mel choose Jayce over her mother and everybody actually reconsider...
I dont think Silco tried to kill Vi because he thought she could convince Jinx. He did it because Vi caused her agony. All the demons Vi invoked when she told her to remember Mylo, Claggor and Vander. Also I dont think Jinx shot him on purpose. She lost her shit with all her inner demons around her, just like she lost her shit in episode 4 when she accidentally hit one of Silcos goons in the fight vs the firelights. It was an accident and as soon as Jinx sees who she hit, she runs over to Silco crying.
Yeah it could be that. But what I think is that when she saw that her sis was in danger her instincts kicked in and she immediately did what she had to do to protect her sister then when it was all over she realized that she killed Silco and she was sorry about that because she cares for him too. But I really do think she just on impulse wanted to protect Vi.

Honestly, Silcos and Jinxs relationship is so messed up but its still beautiful in a way. They are both incredibly messed up people who genuinely care for and love each other. If only their father daughter dynamic wasnt so toxic...

No Silco tried to kill Vi because she's the one who have the most influence on Jinx she's her cornestone. From the moment he learn that she's alive he tried to get her killed, he always try to break Jinx-Vi bond tell her she can't trust nobody except him, that her sister abondoned her and will do it again, he try everything to break her trust in her sister. Look at the episode 6 when she saw her sister, look at her face her demanor, she's never been more stable and happy since she was a kid.
@@mkmc94 Vi appears with an enforcer looking for a gemstone. Silco tries to kill her because he wants to protect Jinx. "Everyone betrays us", thats his genuine belief after his trauma due to Vander betraying him. It even gets reinforced when Finn tries to kill him. Episode 9 proves it. He doesnt tell Jinx to stay with him. He tells her that Vi will abandon her after one day and that this is the reason why she shouldnt trust her. And he is probably right about that. Silco directed Jinxs murderous tendencies towards a specific enemy, Vi would not be able to do the same and the tendencies wouldnt just disappear.
Jinx was just as stable in that moment with Vi as she is in moments with Silco.
this series is a love letter to us league fans, and it doesn't even felt like an animated cartoon, it felt like real story, about real people, living in real places. this characters will always have a spot in my hearth.

just want to say that when jinx finally put the gemstone in the rocket that solidifies that she now figured out how to utilize the energy from the gemstone this is what the council feared i feel like there's a high chance of war
Powder was never going to come back. Notice that while Jinx gives Vi the choice of where Jinx should sit, Powder’s chair is pushed in at the table, covered in crap, while Jinx’s chair is pulled out and clear. It was always going to end with Jinx, no matter what Vi or Cait or Silco said or did.
And Vi never actually makes the choice. She loves her sister, even as she is now. She just won’t murder Cait for her, or go along with every whim she has like Silco did. Silco was an enabler. Because Jinx was useful, and because he grew fond of her in his own way, he let her get away with whatever she wanted and actually made all of her insecurities and illness worse. Short of doing the same, Vi was never going to win this.
She doesn't love Jinx thou, she's loves "Powder" the person she used to be.
They’re the same person. A person that Vi loves. Will always love, regardless. When they first reunite, and Jinx says she’s changed, Vi even says that she understands that she did what she had to do to survive. Like I said, she just can’t go along with every chaotic, murdering whim Jinx has. Just because you love someone unconditionally doesn’t mean you let them do or get away with whatever they feel like.

I find that people are having a hard time to realise that there is no hero or villain. Piltover's actions can be compared to Nazi's. They put poor, criminal, drug addicts anyone below a certain level was dumped to a city full of poison gas that caused deformities that Viktor is seen to suffer from. The people of Zaun rebelled against Vander not just Silco they all wanted to change which is why Vander gets betrayed for forgetting or giving up the dream to fight against Piltover. Silco Unites and makes something from nothing, he was cold and calculating because he was leading and uniting criminals not model citizens. And if given the option for peace he would accept, only demanding free trade and access to hextec portals for Zaun (allowing Zaun to trade and prosper alone). Shimmer is also not seen to be only bad, it has healing properties and can be used for medicine , so just like hex tec that is good and bad shimmer is also, people can abuse shimmer but the right people can heal with it. Please lawl. What Piltover has done to Zaun is very unforgiveable yet people seem to see Silco and he managed to build as bad, he essentially found Zaun a way to survive financially and started to have people working (all his workers looked fed and health) he paid to help get rid of the gas that poisoned people. He was the only kind of leader Zaun could have at the time, not motivated by money only by his dream to create Zaun for himself and Jinx.
Piltover is shown to not change requesting Vi for peace in the past and ironically Jayce making the same mistake of asking for Jinx for peace, and in reality from the crimes they have committed against Zaun, demanding anything outside of peace is greedy. Silco and Jinx top tier characters.
I agree that Silco is a great character, but the things that he did are inherently just as bad, if not worse, than what Piltover has done for Zaun. Just because his goals aren't driven by money, does not mean that his actions arent reprehensible. He still did lots of shady shit that made Zaun more unstable and even more divided than it was when Vander was in charge.
It shocks me that so many people are completely forgetting all the terrible stuff he has done before Jinx killed him just because he was a dependable father figure to her in the last episode. He can be both. A terrible person and a good dad.
@@kalabana8 I did not mention Silco being a father and you did not address anything I said. You say that it was more divided than ever but no division was shown. It was never united to begin with, silco atleast brought a group together. Also you fail to mention what silco did that did not benefit Zaun. The drug addicts were not put there by Silco and silco did not force a single one of them to overdose a lot of those people are using that drug to cope with the conditions piltover has dumped on them. Bring one example of Silco doing bad for Zaun. I already explained that shimmer is a resource like hex tec and the fact that Silco had to bribe so many people just to be able to trade with other cities shows how down bad Zaun was.

@@mrreliable2220, there is obvious division in the Undercity when you see how Silco has left the place while he’s in charge there are addicts, crime lords/kingpins (that are power hungry and will betray him) firelights (this is the most biggest one the fact that there are people actively working against him proves what kind of hostile environments Silco creates, violence is commonplace, the fact Vi had people that gave information on him despite the fact that he is feared, his most loyal person that follows him considered killing him (she makes it clear she will pick another side if it guarantees Zaun’s independence)
Vander didn’t need fear for unity, there is a reason he has a statue of him even when Silco is in charge, in the bar scene where Huck doesn’t get paid properly all Vander has to do is say some words for the whole bar to stand by him, the bar doesn’t rat out his kids even though it’s a threat to all of them, drugs aren’t prolific

I guess you could say the last bit of Powder killed Silco to protect Vi and Jinx killed the last part of Powder to avenge Silco.
Alot of little details missed that are better on rewatch with hindsight, literally every single frame of this show is made with intention, nothing is there that doesn't mean something or gets referred to later on.

I had figured Caitlyn had a character shield by virtue of this being an origin story and she is a champion, but Jinx bringing that serving tray (what ever its called) really made me nervous despite it. That scene really had me on the edge of my seat. Silco on the other hand I had figured he was a dead man walking for a while now. He isn't a champion and seems like he is too big of a player for him not to die before this is through, although I had no idea when or how and I already knew about season 2.
I'm assuming Jayce and Viktor will survive Jinx's R, though Viktor might come out of it losing a limb, but for everyone else in that room its a roll of the dice. If anyone is going to die, it will likely be Mel, unless she has some ability I'm unaware of. The Super Mega Death Rocket was heading right for her. The blast will likely be large enough to kill or maim most of the others, if not everyone but the champions.
PS: Take a good look at the shot with Singed in his lab at the end there.
In that last clip of singed I see him looking at a stopwatch in his hand then he looks up at someone/something hairy with claws. Idk what that means.

Vander coming back as Warwick seems likely. Certainly more likely than Sky coming back as Orianna, though I would still like to see her in this.
I consider Arcane to be the best animated series ever! Just brilliant.
Season 2 is actually in production right now they announced it already, though I'm pretty sure they already finished both season 1 and 2 in the 6 years they made Arcane, cause they now that the audience are gonna want more and they can't prolong this. Also the ones who are pretty sure to survive are Viktor and Jayce cause they are in the game.

One thing i realize .jinx was making a choice between silco and vi.we all think choosing vi will make her powder again.but she do chose Vi when she was threatened.yet that still make her Jinx.So I guess there was no chance from the beginning.there was no way Jinx become powder again after all those
Mel, Jayce and Viktor will be the only ones to survive i think. Mel's golden "armor"/tattoo activated when sensed danger, also Jayce has a shield on his hammer and Viktor has the shimmer and the hextech in him.
Btw did you notice Singed (The doctor) with a bearded man with claws hanging next to him? Thats a reference to a character named Warwick in league of legends who will be coming in season 2
its sad how vi didn’t accept jinx her own sister the way she is but she can accept one of the topsiders (catylin) even tho they were her enmey, silco did actually accept her both ways bc he never made her feel there’s something wrong and different with her. She’s perfect as he says.

I think Silco and Caitlyn were right though 😔 Jinx isn’t Powder anymore and Powder is the only version of her that Vi actually loves. Vi insists on calling her Powder and keeps trying to revert her to the innocent little sister she knew (Powder wake up, Powder I know you’re in there, etc), but Jinx can never return to that state. She really is too far gone at this point and Vi’s refusal to accept that only hurts her rather than helping her :( In the end Vi would probably realize “Powder” was never coming back and she clearly doesn’t know how to handle “Jinx” at all

Jinx, in a panic-induced fugue, fired in an arc at both Vi and Sisco. She easily could have ended up killing them both. Vi ducked but Sisco couldn't. Look again at the shots of Vi right after; there are bullet holes in her chair. She didn't choose her sister over her adopted father.

My theory is:
Jayce and Viktor are the only ones to maybe survive, both of them being hospitalized and potentially comatose. Unfortunately I think Mel will die since shes the closest to the missle hitting the window. If Mel were to die this would make it so her mother has now lost two of her children and will be even more hungry for revenge against Zuan and potentially having a foothold on the council? Viktor would recover and become more despserate in his research to weapons. This terrorist level assassination will most defininitely lead to war between Zuana and Piltover. Ekko's Firelights will be pressured. I can foresee many crime syndicates of Zuan rising to the surface. Also I dont know of you guys caught it but when they showed the Scientist in the last few scenes he had someone hung up in his lab, most believe it to be Vander who he's experimenting on!
In addition I do believe Cait's mom will die making her NEVER be able to see eye to eye with Jinx and thus will impact Vi in many ways... The last message Jinx wanted to get across was that she understands Vi wont love her like she used to and to show Vi the side she choose she did something irredeemable so that Vi needs to accept her as the menace that is Jinx.

I think Mel has some kind of defensive mechanism (shield?) On her body inside the golden plates that protects her, I think she might jump towards Jace and Viktor and protect them from the blast.

Mel has a literal plot armour shining on her before the explosion, at least that's how I intepret it.
I believe all Silco said to Jinx is what he truly believed, i can't say he was a good father, because his influence only made her worse, but he did love her, he's just extremely messed up as well and ended up projacting all of his pain on her. Atleast at the very end he manged to understand Vander, now that he had someone he wasn't willing to sacrifice for his mission

A more experienced Jayce would probably win against Vi, his hammer is crazy versatile and he’s more athletic
I don't know if he is more athletic than Arcane's Vi. Both seems like peak physical condition. And with Hextech, it's a very minor variable... Plus, Vi take punches since she is like 8... Jayce only really started to fight in his thirties. Even more experience won't really change that one is more resillient than the other.
don't forget that this is a story of an ingame characters so ending the story unresolved is great

Jayce and Mel will probably survive, with Viktor in critical condition. Mel's armor was given special prominence, thinking it might not just be decorative, and Jayce has hextech that can provide force-fields and the like. And Viktor, being severely injured so that he can't even enjoy the limited time he had left, will be pushed to self-experimentations again.

Ep 3, 8 and 9 had the most impact for me when it comes to powder/jinx. It was sad that vi was not able to express or even accept that powder is gone now and jinx is calling out for her on this ep, which silco was able to do. He's a well written villain ngl.
Either mel survive that or not, it will start the war. Other councilors will die. High chance that Caitlyn mom will die too which is saddening to see now that she sees communicating with caitlyn now and believe her :/
This freaking gave me anxiety and fear. Really thought powder will go that far and cut caitlyn's head and serve it to vi 😩😤 i was ready to scream NOT MY freaking SHIP in the middle of the night 😂
When it come to telling a story its a word call plot armor which mean no matter what happens in a story the most important character are saved by plot armor like how both Ekko and Jinx survive her blast on episode 7. If the writers of this story stay true to that basic theory then Mel and Jayce are both okay from the blast because they're both very important characters to this story right now.
I have a feeling Viktor might make a shield with his hextech arm or leg.. or his staff or maybe Jayce. so theres a couple ways they get out of it. some will die..
I don't know whether Vi would want beef with the guy that made her gauntlets (she didn't even know her gauntlets could make a shield), who has a hextech hammer and enforcers surrounding them. Anyway, I am so glad yall enjoyed this series. It is a masterpiece. Sadly the second season is far away (2023 maybe). Personally don't know who is gonna live after the rocket hits. Mel's backpiece started shining though so hopefully she lives because her character is great (personally hope she becomes a new champ in the game if not her mom). If she dies it explains why Jayce is an arrogant asshole according to gamelore, man is just jaded I guess. Takes no shit from anyone anymore afterwards, if Mel gets murdered like this. Also thought it was beautiful how Jinx said that she wished Vi could love her like she used to, even though she is different (when she said this it hurt). In her mind she already changed and there never was a time to change back to Powder, yet Vi insisted on calling her Powder. Vi could not accept Jinx for what she had become, Silco instead told her she was perfect the way she is right now. Absolutely beautiful storytelling in this show
If nothing else, Vi has shown time and again that she wants the smoke in every situation no matter how outnumbered she is. She's a loose cannon by nature and, if push comes to shove, she would've definitely fought Jayce and every enforcer there.
I don’t think Mel’s gonna make it sadly. Pretty sure Jayce will survive and Mel’s death and his stigma against the under-city will bring him to the front of the war. He probably won’t destroy the hex core like Victor requested because of it. Where Victor’s story is going is the most intriguing to me, can’t wait to see how it goes down in the second season!
