  • When you book multiple flights on the same aircraft type across an itinerary, you’d expect the airplanes to be the exact same, right? That’s not always the case. Delta Air Lines has 163 Boeing 737-900ERs, but there are three different configurations, designated 739, 73J, and 73R, each with their own quirks, pros, and cons.
Three configs of one airplane comes from the 73J and 73R models being secondhand aircraft, with the 739s being the original batch of factory-delivered-to-Delta -900s.
This video takes you aboard the 73J variant. Is it as spooky on Halloween (and every other day) as people on the internet say? Stay tuned.

Great to see your PlaneTags. Nice flight on the Delta 73J. Generous seat pitch in FC.

I've got a decent number of PlaneTags, but some of the all-stars get to travel! And yeah, the 73J isn't a bad ride.
