a nice way of finding out the name for the second part of the names is this:
if the last element has a number that is 3 or less than 3, its going to have the suffix -ide (eg. Nh3 - hydrogen nitride)
if the last element has a number that is 3 or more, its going to have the suffix -ate (e.g H2SO4 - hydrogen sulfate)
    CuSo4- magnesium sulphate
    Ca0- calcium oxide
    NH4NO3- ammonium nitrate
    KOH - pottasium hydroxide

One note: The transition metals ions should *not* have a space before the parentheses. So the names should be
    iron(III) chloride
    copper(I) bromide
    and so on.

Learned lesson: Do not take a class with a professor that most students wrote bad reviews about. I took the risk because there was no another option for this semester and I’m regretting it.
