Another outstanding dish! 👏🏻 out of so many RUclips cooking channels that I follow this is No1. Every meal has been exceptional. I’ve shared the recipes with friends and all have agreed and praised the food. Keep them coming. Brilliant channel
Made this a second time, I put in less curry powder and the depth of flavour just poured out. This is a 9.5/10 for me. I added some mushrooms as well. Fantastic recipe Kitchen Sanctuary, take a bow! Fabulous
Love the videos because they’re quick and easy to follow, best of all they actually taste as good as they look. Tried the Chicken Pathia and amazed how good it turned out, even when a lousy cook like me did it.
Well, I’ve never put tamarind in a curry before! This was delicious. Just hot enough for me without being too fiery. I just chopped the onion for the recipe as I couldn’t be bothered to mince it! Still tasted great. Will definitely be making again.
Definitely my favourite cooking channel on RUclips because you are from the uk so I know I can get every ingredient you cook with which is a bonus half of these US cooks use ingredients we can't get in the uk so I'm overjoyed I've found this channel 😁
If you add tomatoes paste right after dry spices and cook it will caramelize the natural sugars. Then add the other ingredients. The order for tomatoe paste is important. I am excited try this. Thinks for another great idea.
We had a curry night last night for some friends, we made your Pathia, Passanda and the chick pea & sweet potato curry, all of them were delicious. I absolutely love your channel.
Do your family know how lucky they are to have such lovely meals served to them? I haven't had a bad one yet, so keep up the wonderful work, Nicky and Chris.
Made this last night. Absolutely delicious. It's my go to in an Indian Restaurant. Can't believe I made it myself . I used rapeseed oil as my supermarket didn't have ghee. I used tin of chopped tomatoes as I like the chunks. Bit confused over the chicken stock, 60ml seemed hardly worth it or is that me ? Will definitely be making this again and again, thank you.
Omg Nicky, my weight is going to go sky high with all these lovely recipes, this one looks so tasty😋😋thankyou as always, love your recipes and delicious they are😊🌷🌼xxxxx
Great recipe, I made this exactly as described, a couple of things to note. Written instructions state add in whole chillis whilst video states add chopped. 2 tablespoons of curry powder really makes this very hot, which is fine if that’s what you’re after but I’d put less in next time. Video shows salt going in with other Indian inspired herbs whilst written instructions suggest adding later. Tomato purée states 2 teaspoons worth whilst video shows 1 teaspoon. Having made these comments I’d strongly recommend this excellent recipe just maybe cut down on curry powder. Keep up the superb work KS
Defintley looks tasty!! But I wouldn't say its british indian restaurant inspired as that's a whole different style. That would incorporate: - Spiced oil - Restraunt paste - Curry base - Pre-cooked chicken tika
Excellent again Nicky 👌 is there any chance you can send me a link to the portable electric hob you are using please and can you confirm that it's a good one, I've been looking and reviewing lots but most say that the hotspot is not big enough, therefore not cooking evenly. Thanks Matt
Hi kitchen sanctuary congratulations on your success love watching your youtube channel absolutely outstanding on RUclips absolutely amazing congratulations to you love from paul Roberts

North Indian Curries Don't use them they use Tomato for sourness, but for most of the south indian curries tamarind and curry leaves are very common
Cooked this ace curry last night for the gang! Awesome! Really tasty and delicious! Many thanks guys, keep 'em, the recipes, coming!

Aaaww thank you, so happy that you're enjoying the recipes.
I’ve yet to have a failure with Nicky’s recipes.
@@helenweatherby1694 Neither have I, Helen. Nicky's clear explanations make them easy to follow, even for a mediocre cook like me.
Always order this my fave curry by far. 100% trying this.
I always make the tuscan chicken you do. Really nice that 1 is.
Thank you x
Fantastic, I hope you enjoy it. Let us know if you do end up giving it a try.
God I'm glad I clicked on your Pathia recipe from the search results! Exactly the flavour what I wanted, so authentic. Thank you 😋😋

Hi Nikki , your curry looks very professional nicely presented... I’m definitely trying this I love all your curry’s ... thank you for sharing 🙏
Nikki, thank you for the close-up shots! I really needed to see the consistency of the blended onion mixture, and how long to fry it.
You are so welcome!
Delicious. I tried this recently and it was phenomenal, thanks for the recipe.
Just made this.... So good.... Thank you!
Your curries rock! Another winner for me. I love so much that you are adding so much tomato to most of your curries.
Omg Nicky, my weight is going to go sky high with all these lovely recipes, this one looks so tasty😋😋thankyou as always, love your recipes and delicious they are😊🌷🌼xxxxx

Thank you so much
@@Kitchensanctuary you’re great, easy to follow videos and recipes that taste amazing. You’ve got lots of fans here in Abu Dhabi
You have the best thumbnails on YT.
Im going to give a try, looks really lovely. BTW I like your non-stick frying pan, can you advise the brand? Thanks
Thanks Rachel, Let us know if you do give it a try. Its a Le Creuset frying pan, its a bit of an investment but I love mine and it gets soo much use.
Rachel, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, I really like my T-Fal nonstick sautè pan.
If u want best possible curries don't use non stick.
Thanks for that recipe Nikki as chicken pathia is my favourite dish
Love this so much,am doing this today with beef instead of chicken
Can you use more chicken in this curry and do you have to double up on spices if you use more chicken x
Hey Nickki, I love your recipes and this channel
Thank you so much!
Another winner !! 😃
Defintley looks tasty!! But I wouldn't say its british indian restaurant inspired as that's a whole different style. That would incorporate:
- Spiced oil
- Restraunt paste
- Curry base
- Pre-cooked chicken tika
Which one is the best between the blender and food processor

Hello nikki..your recipe for today looks very delicious..
Great channel 💯
Appreciate that

What is passata
Waooooo… it’s Nice 👍
What if you haven't got a food processor 👀 can we just cut it finely?
If I can't get my hands on tamarind what could I substitute it with??
I used Balsamic vinegar, I googled alternatives
Can I add more chicken to this dish
I love watching your videos but I’m definitely going to have ago at this one
Yummy😍
pineapple juice ?
oh YES
Yummy
Hi, Nikki.
hi....so this is basically the same as your madras apart from the coconut milk.....!
Now I feel REALLY HUNGRY! : D
Lush.
😋
💙💙💙👍
First
Yay! 😋
Oh just realised it's gas 😔
Love this but don't like the sweet......
I love Indian food. I don’t like making it. Too smelly to make in a house. I wish your quick meals weren’t 90% Indian food.
