@michaelgarrett1959 tbf it had help and there was 2 of them at the end and the gimle is much superior designed due to not having the campaign restrictions of not being full meta.
@HalIOfFamer ahhhh so it's a campaign build vs basis build ... im kinda new to the thing I want to get into this game it's just really intimidating and as a streamer this kinda thing takes time but I want to build a huge flying airship with battleship cannons and railguns
@@michaelgarrett1959 quick edit: The player is not limited in campaign by anything, the gimle could be spawned in campaign, what I meant is the enemy faction campaign craft are limited by the designers of them called keepers of the lore who make the enemy faction craft. yeah the campaign designs while very formidable especially from the top 3 factions (steel striders, grey talons and scarlet dawn) are extremely difficult to beat 1v1 by an inexperienced player design, they have special restrictions put on them that stick to their lore and prevent them from being unfun to fight. Meta in this game is very wide ranging and it's a combination of a lot of meta design choices that makes the craft good, and the campaign craft usually are lacking in a couple of those multiple factors(like speed, armor scheme, firepower efficiency, redundancy, self sustain etc.) A player can just make the most effective craft they want. The gimle for example is a one sider, only the right side of it(the starboard) has thick, well designed armor while it's left(port) is only covered in thin armor for looks. That makes is significantly tougher per armor material spent because it's all always in use. Note that you don't need to build meta to have fun or win, you can lower the difficulty and build designs with flaws like I do for immersion. Or you can send multiple of a less optimized craft against a strong ship like martin did in his campaign.
Very fun to do this battle, and you can absolutely make a air battleship with rail guns, or plasma michel, look at my Sheriff Airbattleship for an example of that, if you stream it can be fun showing the building process, I often do. Also some tutorials here should help you getting into the game!

Ill predict rn that gimle is probably winning. It's just much better designed and efficient and a couple of good shots will disable the yamato.
That Yamato beat all the bosses on the hardest difficulty WITH EASE ... she might look bulky but she packs a FAST and super heavy hit ..
@@michaelgarrett1959 quick edit:
The player is not limited in campaign by anything, the gimle could be spawned in campaign, what I meant is the enemy faction campaign craft are limited by the designers of them called keepers of the lore who make the enemy faction craft.
yeah the campaign designs while very formidable especially from the top 3 factions (steel striders, grey talons and scarlet dawn) are extremely difficult to beat 1v1 by an inexperienced player design, they have special restrictions put on them that stick to their lore and prevent them from being unfun to fight.
Meta in this game is very wide ranging and it's a combination of a lot of meta design choices that makes the craft good, and the campaign craft usually are lacking in a couple of those multiple factors(like speed, armor scheme, firepower efficiency, redundancy, self sustain etc.)
A player can just make the most effective craft they want.
I want to see the Gimle versus The Baguette. I think the baguette could do it.
Is it on the workshop? I want it!
If you know him, ask him to DM me! :)
@@GMODISM I don't think it's on the workshop yet sadly. I hope it gets put up because it'll either be the best or worst fight ever.
I have seen the bottom side torpedoes a lot
Immovable object vs unstoppable force
in b4 mart livestream "taking on the gimle challenge" that would be fun
yeah please badger him about it that would be so fun!
What are ur specs mr gmodism
45:41 mart did removed the airpump in the old yamato for it not too lag his game
Yeapp it’s a necessary thing to do ;)
You have a very nice voice mate
Hey thanks mate!
when multiplayer with martin 1v1
Anytime, if we can reach him!
Watch his vid. Nothing to spoil
Honestly loved the Yamato more it looked way better and the other ship looked hideous so
Rooting for the gimle!
Where's the explosion from the mags when a bullet hits them where's the realistic sinking that would happen in the real world where's the counter flooding that the Yamato would do when listing to any side I would modify the Yamato to carry some torpedos the Yamato ain't done on this game
Torpedoes it indeed shall get!
This is the perfect example of quality over quantity i think ive never been cheerleeding so hard for the gimle before 😂 also hi eric hope you had a fun christmas❤
Yay! Thank you!
This is a banger

Bit of constructive criticism; I can hear every wet mouth sound you're making, and its very off putting. Made my initial reaction say "click off this vid."
