@@chapelhillvintagejewels only because I follow you on Facebook and have seen it in some of the Facebook jewelry groups but not one I feel like most causal collectors would be aware of. I’ve never found one of their pieces.
@@PrincessCasserole Probably not for casual new collectors but hopefully helpful information should you be out there hunting and come across something marked B&W. Now you'll know to grab it. I saw it in the markets in England and bought some from a collector here in the U.S. She had traveled to England too and knew it from there. SPHINX is another UK brand and Attwood & Sawyer - very nice jewelry.
Popping in to say hello I just found you and have been binge watching! Almost 6 years ago I inherited my Moms and Grandmothers custome Jewlary when my mom went to heaven and have finally been starting to look thru it and organize it in Jewlary trays. They were in a huge boxs all mixed together after the guys packed up her home. Your videos are going to help me so much I have fallen in love with lots of the pieces and would love to learn more about them most are unmarked with my old eyes so ordered a loop to take closer a look. Of course I subscribed Have a Great Day and Thank You Again, Roxanne
Thank you for this video, very informative! I appreciate that you are making a series of videos focusing on just one maker. I'm learning a lot and appreciate all the work and knowledge you're putting into it.
Glad that you are enjoying them. I haven't done one in a while but you motivate me to get more up on youtube. They are time-consuming but I enjoy them.
I'm here in the U.K and I'm obsessed too! Their sale is almost a giveaway considering the quality and weight of their jewellery . Every time I wear their it I always get complimented 👌🏻💕💫
I agree. I am not crazy about the multi-colored pieces they do. My favorite is the older designs but occasionally, they bring them back, like the dancing couple.
@@chapelhillvintagejewels Yes,I agree with you......however their latest sale ,the multi coloured was only available. I have to say....wow!!! We cruise a lot and the compliments were over the top. I would certainly buy multi coloured again. They're much classier and authentic looking than on their website. Absolutely gorgeous 👌🏻👌🏻💕💕 I have a lot of very expensive jewellery, diamonds, sapphires and rubys and I can honestly say, hand on heart, their jewellery looks just as good. Tbh,if you mix the two, even better!😁👌🏻💫
Great video! I have just started to collect Butler & Wilson and I love them. Do they ever not sign their pieces? I have a lizard with the long tail & 2 pins that was sold as unsigned B&W. I didn’t pay a ton for it and it’s a great piece whether it is or not but just curious if they are ever unsigned for future reference.
I can't say that there is never an unsigned piece, what I do know is they were copied shamelessly (like the dancers). If you like it and it was not $$ then wear it and enjoy it! To collectors, I say buy the signed pieces whenever you can.
I just bought one lizard brooch at my local thrift store for $10. But is unsigned 6 inches long green eyes. Now I'm not sure if it is Butler & Wilson. But its pretty cool and no missing stones.
Hi. I came across your RUclips channel and enjoyed watching the Butler & Wilson video. I too am a fan of Butler & Wilson. Could you share some information about this brooch of yours? I bought it, but, unfortunately, I don't know anything about it, I really like it. Tell me, please, from which period and from which material, is the circulation known? I will be very grateful for the answer.
I have no idea what brooch you are talking about. I usually give a pretty thorough description in any posting on my Ruby Lane Shop, Chapel Hill Vintage Jewels. It would be costume so rhinestones and gold tone or silver tone metals from the 1980s?????
Really enjoyed this! I was primarily collecting ethnic jewelry from the eighties on when I had a retail store but I occasionally picked up some "Lunch at the Ritz". I would love your opinion/ knowledge of them. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting. Lunch at the Ritz is quirky and fun like B&W. I never bought any of it so I have no direct knowledge but A LOT of collectors love it for its whimsy!
@@julieirving3134 yeah I just picked one up but it was $3 so certainly not a rip off or sold to be anything it wasn’t. A nice stand in until I come across a real replacement.
So happy you’re back! Thank you for taking the time to pass your knowledge forward. I very much appreciate it.

How does one clean rhinestone color and white stone jewerly
Very interesting
Thank you very much!!
Is Butler and Wilson always signed?
For the most part Yes they are signed. There are many knock offs being done, especially of the dancers so be careful.
