Love this man, i've been looking to start engraving for a while now, im going to the ranch so i guess its time, your videos really help a lot!! Hope you keep uploading more
Not shabby my guy. I’ve worked in a tattoo shop 12 years and bought a pneumatic, gravers and hand piece but haven’t had a place to practice. Loved the editing
Buy some random cheap stuff, like a steel bar at the hardware store. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a cheap plain bar of crappy steel if you wanna engrave metal, or a plank for wood, and maybe a saw if you wanna cut the piece down into smaller bits that are more manageable. A couple meters or a few feet are gonna last you a long while with engraving, especially once you get into high detail and improve upon your skills, which shouldn't take you all that long as you've been tattooing (and probably drawing) for a long time already
This is amazing. It's strange how everyone loves engraved guns, yet nobody wants to see the process. Beautifully done friend Also I liked and subscribed. Will be liking the rest of your videos
This just makes me realize that I don't want to try this. lol... I'm thinking about doing something simple like "stippling' the slide with a dremel...... so it will look more like a stippled polymer frame, but just on the slide..... I'm thinking about trying to do just a saddle over the front... like front serrations.... idk though.. Guess I'll practice on soemthing else first.
@@jwsahm6703 I'm sharpening a 120 chisel with the lindsay template system but I'm having a little trouble on the hell part. My question is whether the height of the whetstone will remain the same.p
I just dropped $8k on a fiber laser to do what this guy is doing with his hands and a hand tool. i tip my hat to you sir- it's refreshing to see a true artist. do you hand engrave brass? is there a way to contact you?
A GRS GraverSmith and a 120 degree tungsten carbide c-max graver bit. Those are the Specific one. Everything else is general engraving equipment, kind of complicated to go into

I watched more of it and saw you are using a 120 degree engraver. What is your face angle?
45 degrees
Why do all that work when a laser will do it better and faster?
what kind of paint did you use, it's very nice, congrats...
Is that tool air powered ?
Yes sir!
