Your work is impressive, congratulations. But I also want to thank you for the time you take to answer each of the questions that your followers ask you. Thank you
1. I notice a fiber laser interacts with steel and changes colors. Are you able to stop at a certain color, and would that color be permanent? 2. I notice the laser changes the way it sweeps across the path of the design. Does it choose to change the way it sweeps across, or, do you need to program it to sweep a certain way to make it look uniform? Thank you.
Great observations! 1. Yes, you can do colors with a fiber laser. Different settings will give different colors/finishes. They are permanent but not super durable depending on the finish. 2. It’s called an auto rotate cross hatch. The laser sweeps across the design at opposing and different angles every time to give it a smooth and clean engraving.
Quick question: Do you have only the parts shipped to you? or brought to you? thanks! I realize you have to have a FFL In order to keep parts with serial numbers over 24 hours, but I'm wondering how customers would actually ship their Firearm or firearm parts to you? thank you!
The laserable area is determined by what size lens you have. So yes, if you have a lens that is 6x6 inches marking field you can only laser engrave a design 6x6 inches long in one run.
I don’t do engraving but I want to learn the graphic design part. Do you do your graphic stuff in illustrator or is there a better program for the design stuff you are doing?
I also have a JPT 50, how do you, or what do you use in order to view the actual slide etc. you're engraving and overlay on the table for a live view? I am stumped. If I need to contact you for a paid consultation no problem. Just let me know the easiest way please. Your time and instructions are valuable. Do I email, Paypal, Venmo, etc.? Just needing a kick start to this part. Thank you so much.

Though I prefer hand engraving, the description does mentions it’s laser engraving.
I take that back the laser engraving in this video is better and precise than hand engraving
