Came here from Alec Steele's video. Show me what you got, Mr. Zuelke!
EDIT: and you do not disappoint! Very informative. Only critique or more of a suggestion would be: Is it possible to change the camera from your side to being opposite to you? Then it would be filming towards you and your hands wouldn't get in the way. Other than that, the camera was at a perfect distance and well focused, and the audio was clean and crisp, so a fantastic start to your channel!

I was always curious about how this was done. I don’t engrave, but I’ve always found it interesting and always a great addition to a firearm. I’ve had the pleasure of working on some European rifles and shotguns that were engraved and always marveled at the skill involved in the fine embellishments on them. Also, I arrived here from Alec Steele’s channel.

Being ADD and 35 year's old I have mastered a lot of trades in my life. I can build black walnut furniture out of a tree with inlays, restore classic cars which I have 20 under my belt now, breed ball pythons (Obviously I'm not the father lol), apply all paints and stains, and now I'm getting into gun smithing. Just built 10 different caliber AR's and now I'm taking a cheap 400 dollar RIA 1911 and working in all high end parts from companies Wilson Combat. The only issue I have is the finish of the RIA guns are extremely horrible. Take that back I have another issue and that's I just told the wife I'm buying engraving equipment for my shop to add to the spray booth, CNC machine, Bridgeport, lathe and every type of buffing and polishing equipment I already own....🤣🤣🤣 I have watched 2 hrs of videos you have on here and I'm hooked! You do beautiful work Sir!!!!!!

His & Hers just be aware that it’s a long term learning process that requires a fair amount of shop setup. Kind of like me taking up being a machinist as a hobby. Much like being a machinist, historically hand engraving has never been a hobby activity. The learning curve is long and steep. Just depends on what you want to get out of it. I usually suggest taking a class before making any large investment in tools.
