Whereabouts are you guys fishing from mom from Ontario across the pond we don’t have any rivers that much currently like that not off of Erie anyway but where we are
It’s sometimes easier cutting your eye cut your fins off cut your angle go right through the rib cage and take the ribs off later 10 times easier 10 times faster like a salmon
@ yeah I learned that trick is so much faster and you get a nice full fillet when you take the ribs cage out after just use the tip of your knife, very slow and angle up into the rib cage and you’ll get twice the meat off them and keep the collars smoke the collars that’s some incredible meat out of those collars
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo yeah sorry about some of the wording. I know some of the message kinda doesn’t make sense. I talk to my phone because my hands don’t work as good for the small shitty letters on the thing.
Awesome Sucker fishing man 👍👍 and some nice bonus Steelhead too , I'm surprised you didn't get at least 1 Walleye out there - must be a night bite thing
Thanks man, those suckers actually give pretty decent fights! Haven't had much walleye luck this year- definitely think dusk is the time I should be going👍
Probably lots of bass, sheepshead, and you would have a good shot at walleye at night. Any minnow/crawfish imitation would work good, tube jigs, swim baits, spinners, jerk baits, crank baits 👍👍 try casting on both sides too!
@@Finny-ps1zc we have an instagram-@outsidersoutdoorco, when using crayfish i like to use a float when there is current, if there is no current the dropshot rig works great!
By far you guys are the best at this hands down it's like DJ Kali and another one and another one back2back... my hat goes off to you guys keep the videos coming
I've definitely seen it done before, even seen some brown trout and lake trout! Just got to get there at the right time. Probably very few left right now but you can get them when the water temps dip back down(October-April is ideal)
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo awesome, i am disabled so im limited to where i go on my own. last question so you guys are bobber fishing live minnows here right:? how deep is your leader under the bobber going then? i tried fishing at Broderick but its all new stuff for me..
@@Shirodoodles I was floating 12ft under the bobber, but sometimes floating is hard at Brodrick park because a lot of people like to bottom fish so it is hard to get a good long drift. Most people use the drop-shot rig over there, use a size 2 or 4 mosquito hook and the current is fast so 1oz or 2oz weight should do the trick👍 NYPA platform also has good fishing access 😎
Hahaha, yea I was just joking around... I never tried one before, but generally speaking bottom feeders have a fishier taste than other fish like walleye or trout!👍
Nice fish! I've fished directly across from where you guys are on the Canadian side so its cool to see what its like on your side. Looks like you guys have better access to the water and it appears to be deeper. On our side the breakwall is up to your chest and theres a massive flat sheet of rock all around until you get 70-100 ft out and then it just drops... you guys ever hook into some musky? there's some big girls cruising around in that water
Dang man, sounds like you gotta be really careful on the Canadian side, American side is nice you gotta give it a try one time! Never really targeted musky, but I have seen them cruising around, even had a couple follows-maybe one day I'll hook into one...👍😎Thanks for the comment

Upper niagara river
Awesome video - BTW, your grates are wrong-side-up on your Weber. The flat side up is how they are intended to be.
Thanks Greg! I did not know that lol

I'll have to try it that way next time 👍

The walleye are there all year. Heavier in the spring but they’re around.
nice jumper !
Thanks!😎
What is biting on the breakwall this time of season? And what would you use? I was thinking maybe blue fox spinner and night crawlers

Thanks a lot. Do you have a Facebook page or Snapchat to follow? Also, if you are using crawfish, what kind of setup would you do

I've only been out there once is this at the the end of the boardwalk
Haven't been to the end yet, it's a really tough walk to get out there👍
