Yeah here my little tip when you trying to connect your controller, take the battery out and then let your console keep on flashing and when done flashing, then push the button to the console first when you try connect your controller and then You're controller will work alright 🙂👍

This happened before, in early 2022. I used the cable technique and it worked!
This happens on ps4 controllers as well, if you connected your personal controller to a friend’s system and try to sync it back up to your system, you need a certain cable like mick said.

You don't even have to press the sync button. As long as the cord is plugged into the Xbox. Will automatically pair. Same with windows PCs
Also try updating your controller if you do finally get it to connect

There’s another way if the batteries are not taking enough, you have to make sure you put tinfoil in between them and make sure they work

Just got mine new from Walmart. It worked great and i updated it and whatnot. Played a solid 7 hours on it yesterday. Went to play tonight and the light just slowly blinks. Ive replaced the batteries in it, cycled power, everything. Its so annoying.

Controller cables, camera cables, some cables for pc peripherals like a mouse or webcam. Anything that could potentially transfer data as well as needing power and is usb c. Hopefully that helps ya champion

Xbox is useless my controller just disconnected on its own now it’s unsynced and three different type c cords just make it flash then turn off what a joke
I’ve got a better method.
Unplug power to the Xbox, then plug it back in and turn it on.
That’s all it takes for the controller to reconnect.
