@@Texas6SpeedCobra sweet! I heard good things about those tires. I need to swap as well. I was going to keep the rocket ron on the front and put a high roller on the rear but I may just think about those xr4’s a bit more... did you go 2.8 or 2.6?? The rocket ron’s are good tires of it is not damp conditions, otherwise I take my life in my hands with off camber roots and rocks.... can’t climb anything when wet either and they hold on to mud...
Dude, I went 2.4 lmao I felt more nimble in the trail and when jumping, I felt more in control of the bike. Can you post a link of the Judy’s you purchased. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what will and won’t fit on my Roscoe. I would definitely recommend the XR4s. I wish there was a way I could post a pic of my bike.
@@Texas6SpeedCobra hey again J Rod, please take warning.... the Roscoe 6 has a straight steer tube suntour xcm stock fork. Trek used a crown race adapter to accommodate this. This is pretty sneaky on treks part in my opinion. It’s a money saving tactic for sure. So if you do buy a tapered fork ( which I suggest) you’re going to need a headset as well.
Thank you for the feedback, Darius. We appreciate it greatly. I am in Sedona this week, but when I return to Phoenix, I'll see what Brandon has in stock. If both bikes are available to do a showcase, we will definitely do one for you, my friend. Thanks again for watching and for the support. Adventure safe.
Great vid guys! The way I see it, Marlin is for the less aggressive rider just looking for green trails while the Roscoe is for the more aggressive rider looking for jumps, hugging corners and taking a beating. Just my opinion.
One Reply to rule them all, lol. Thank you again for taking the time to watch and comment, my friend. It is appreciated. Yes, the Marlin is for the guys and gals you are looking to have fun at a reasonable pace, with the Roscoe being more aggressive and race-oriented. It would be rad if people could share pics of their bikes. You could always tag me on Instagram, and I'd be sure to see it. What link for the Judy shock are you looking for? I've never ordered a Judy, but we can find something for you.
I want to replace the stock forks on my Roscoe 6. The problem is after doing some shopping, I wouldn’t know what Rockshox Judy to purchase. Where is Arizona are you all located?

Went to a bike shop, saw some trek bikes, went to review them, and then these guys started speaking Greek lol. I’ve been out of the mountain bike game since 2003.

I hope you are enjoying these comparison Bike Showcase videos, my friends. Leave us a comment below and tell us what you think.
Roscoe all the way!!! Love my 6, takes it all! Put a Judy on it and a bontreger 108t on the rear! Killer bike.

Same here man! I recently switched to the Bontragers XR4s and man, what a difference! Love my Roscoe 6! This thing can handle anything!

Marlin 8 vs Xcaliber 8. 🎉😮
Another great video by Deushebag Thomas!!! Brandan seems more professional.

Good comparison and review, but I’m staying with the Marlin 8. Your show seemed too-low light though.
Yeah, that was on me. I forgot the studio light. That being said, thank you for watching and for your feedback.
