BF3 IS OVER?! I cant believe it. The servers are shutdown. I had no idea servers for BF3 were getting shutdown. Last time I played was a week ago on PS3. All those years of adrenaline fun, medic support, the LMG on Metro in tight corners, C4 exploding in Metro, the LAV on Rush mode, the close quarters maps, attack helicopter spamming rockets, so many memories, all gone. This is really saddening tbh. BF3 multiplayer was fantastic and ahead of its time. So much better than all the other BF’s. I still can’t believe it. Farewell BF3.. 😰😰😰
Thanks man! And ya the old Dice is gone unfortunately. I will say the new Dice is starting to learn how to make a good BF game and I truly believe the next one will be good but I don’t think we’ll ever be back to how is was. Really exited for Delta Force though. We’ll see…
This may get only seen by like 23 people in a year. But if you’re reading this and you played bf3 in its prime for that day 1 to 3 years post release… best experience I’ve had in fps. Was a pleasure to share the battlefield with you… and or fight against you. And if you were a troll too believe it or not lmfao. Can’t tell you if you were one of those jet stealers I made it my mission to only defend against you. Heli campers too that float in the air way out near the edge of map and wreck havoc. Was a pleasure jet ramming you. To the legit players but yet fellow dedicated bunny hopping try hards (me too) … absolutely beauts you guys were. Loved the back and forth gun battles. The “I know you’ll pop smoke and run by my 11 other bad teammates. So I’ll stay back with my mg with bipod , claymores maxed on top of my c4 charges that made it an instant kill lol. When you countered that I would dm my squad to fall back to b and only defend b. I can ramble on… but I had a blast countering everything and everything. covering flanks on offense. Covering flanks on defense. Rushing past b with smoke to enemy spawn. Set beacon. And advance with my squad. Lmfao. Seriously. Such fun times when playing legit and not using drones to fly into people cheap kills. Thank you. And share your experiences down below please I want to have these flash backs with you! Best fps experience. Best battlefield alongside bad company 2
🎖I remember Back to Karkand and every one using the recon drone to get to the roofs of skyscrapers and having insane sniper battles. I was a jet hog, couldn't stop me when I was flying🔥🚀
I was soooo upset when I found out because I LITERALLY had just redownloaded the game a couple weeks ago and a few days into my rush of nostalgia playing conquest I learned it was gonna be shut down, almost like I was meant to download it again without even knowing

Man, the stories I could tell. I lived and breathed this game in its heyday on the 360. So many great memories joining losing teams and helping them come back and win in heart pumping chaotic adrenaline filled action. I remember getting booted by some butthurt admins for killing them/their whole squad just because I was lvl 100, there weren't many back then. AEK 971 ftw too :P ...I was sad I didn't get to screenshot and save my stats from the bf3stats site, they abruptly went out of business back in 2018...even years later I was top % medic, MVP, winning percentage, and among the top in some other categories and weapons. Nothing else in gaming has ever measured up to me like late 2011 did with BF3 coming out, then Skyrim shortly after...was truly a magical time. I remember using a sucky old school single core laptop for a bridged wifi connection since I had the old fat 360 and couldn't justify buying the expensive MS brand wifi adapter lol. Really sad to see the servers going down...surely they don't cost THAT much to run, especially considering many people were still renting servers all these years later. I agree with you at the end, I'm meh on the pc version, in my mid 30s now, my hands/joints/nerves aren't what they used to be, and I really start to cramp up and hurt using keyboard/mouse. Always found controller 1 million times more comfy. 2042 on pc actually has good controller support though, according to reddit it actually has more aim assist using controller on pc than on the actual consoles themselves, I may do some 2042 here and there on controller for my battlefield fix. IDK why, but none of the other battlefields on pc had aim assist for controller, it felt SO weird and wonky trying to play them with an xbox controller lol.

❤🎉 yooo good ish brotha the best one was hands down bad company 2 and they need to b remake it And stop trying new ideas cus the new one I pays 100$ for digitally and umm so upset we can’t even call airstrikes on a sniper or squad inside a house or building and collapsing the building.. the newest battlefield has not much destruction compared to bf bad company 2 and they either bring it to life with a frame boost some polishing and making these shooters we love are all being taken from us when we bought these for socializing and having so much fun but these companies don’t care lmao

Has anyone tried BF3 on x360 very ecently? I've bought Xbox game pass to play for a month or so (currently September) and I can't seem to connect to the BF3 Xbox 360 servers, just get 'the connection with EA online has been lost' in the menu. Thanks
Maybe they should hand over the game to the devs out in the world. They'll keep it alive forever. EA is as good as dead when it comes to making games that are good. They just announced bf6. I'd be amped but 2042 was a big let down so im sure this will be up their in disappointment. Their best shot is to sell the IP to a indie dev team its the only way this game ever gets good again. Big triple A studios don't know how to make great games anymore, it's all money now and not about fun.

Of course the older gen consoles are nowhere near as popular as they once were, you'll find that there is still a big fan base playing on them still. I've gone back to the 360 myself last year as I got fed up with all the buggy unfinished games coming out...
