The thing about how you are less tired when you don’t sleep is accurate. A few weeks ago I was staying up till 10am every night and then sleeping in the afternoon and I am always more energetic early in the morning when I haven’t slept yet.
As a Malaysian, I can confirm that airport food are expensive af and 99 of Malaysian people have never bought them. We instead smuggle food in our bags up till the flight and revel in the anxiety and guilt when our bags are checked. For comparison, to the people that don't understand how expensive the 3 dumplings were, outside the airport, they would usually cost like RM 6 for frozen packs each and you'd get like 12 of those dumplings. So yeah.
