Check the _Acts of Union 1707._
Article 19 will inform you that Scotland was, is and will always be independent.
What we need is for the union to be revoked, the contract nullified.
It's a simple matter, but the snp don't want that to happen, which is why *Salvo* served them _and_ Jack with copies of the _Stirling Directive,_ last week.
If the snp won't revoke it, then it's up to us, the Sovereigns.
Anyway, both their cards have been marked.

Just give us our 22% cut of the _Shared Assets,_ which worked out at just shy of *£14,000 billion,* a decade ago, so our split is around *£3.08,000 billion!*
Naturally, we'll expect the return of the *700 tons* of gold Brown 'borrowed' from Scotland, while Chancellor of the Exchequer, but forgot to repay.
      _Plus_ the accrued interest, too.
We'll make a 1.8% savings in our GDP, as we'll no longer be paying it automatically into the United _Kingdoms'_ (plural, not singular, but you weren't to know that) Defence Budget.
Further savings will be us no longer paying into what is laughingly called _UKs' Dept._
5.5 million folk, in Scotland, comprising 8.5 of the UKs' population, yet paying a disproportionate 22% of it!
Let's call a spade a spade, shall we?
      It's _England's debt!_
England borrows, but Scotland has never seen one single penny of the loans.
Same for N.I and Wales, paying their own disproportionate 15% and 11%, but getting nothing in return.
We'll make even bigger savings by not sending our taxes to England and being ripped off by *40%* and having only 60% of our _own_ money returned, under the fancy title of the _Barnett Formula/Block Grant!_
Doubtless you, like so many others, have fallen for the guff that it comes out of _your_ taxes.
      How naive are you? 😂😂😂
Any extra we're given comes out of the *stolen* 40%.
Finally, *our* oil, gas and renewables.
Having gone over the _Acts of Union 1707,_ _Hansard_ noted, on record, about four months ago, that nothing in the bilateral treaty entitled England to any territory, (including waters) resources or revenues that belong to Scotland.
Until the last decade, under threat of being dragged through the International Courts, Wastemonster agreed to allot 22% (they do love that magical, mystical 22% in the Palace of Wastemonster, don't they?) of all future revenues from the North Sea to Scotland.
As I've stated, _Hansard_ has now rectified the misconception that England ever had rights to any of it.
      Here's a perfect example...
_SHELL,_ alone, posted profits, earlier this year, of *£32.2 billion.*
Wastemonster taxed them at 75%, so _SHELL_ walked off with *£8.05 billion.*
Of the remaining *£24.15 billion* Scotland was given the aforementioned 22%, which came to *£5.313 billion,* while England pocketed the remaining *£18.837 billion.*
Now, obviously, the oil hasn't been selling at the current prices all the way back to when the theft first began, but, over the decades, that's still oodles of cash that has to be repaid, plus, again, interest.
Gas, well, not so much, but it all adds up.
Renewables, hmmm, that's a tough one.
We produce 80% of Scotland's energy needs, but never see any of it or receive a penny for it, as it goes straight to the National Grid to power the South East (or West, I forget which) of England.
Throwing salt into the wounds, Scotland pays more for energy than our neighbours, in England and, per capita, we use more, due to our mostly crap weather.
Bottom line, once we revoke the union we can ramp up production of renewables, nationalised, obviously, so our bills will be dramatically reduced.
We can leave the oil and gas where they are, in the ground, reducing our carbon print, but, more importantly, we can raise _Gilts_ on them to underpin a Scottish Central bank.
We can go back to using the _Pund,_ as our currency.
We used it from the 1200s, until the Kingdoms united.
Same format as the Sterling, it was...twelve pennies to the shilling, etc.
It would be easy to decimalise it, drop the _'o'_ and start churning out the notes and coins from the two mints we have in Scotland.
The issue of the EU, as it relates to Scotland, is linked into our Scottish Constitution and not as simple as the snp deciding we're joining.
Once the union is revoked we go back to Scottish Constitutional Law, which will involve holding an election and reigning in our politicians.
They won't like having their cards marked, but it's that or we summarily dismiss them.
Refusal to go carries a charge of treason against we, the Sovereigns.
Unlike England, where Parliament is Sovereign, in Scotland it is the people.
Both govt and monarchy take office at our invite, are contracted to us on zero hours.
Another reason Wastemonster doesn't want the split occurring, in case the good folk of England decide they want some of that, too.

Even if every SNP seat had been won by Labour (which would be unlikely, given they've also pinched seats from the Lib Dems and Tories), Labour wouldn't have had enough seats to form a government - this has been true of every election in the last decade. The notion that the SNP are somehow helping the Tories is obviously ridiculous.

    • @billyandrew
      @billyandrew 11 месяцев назад

Scotland already *is* independent and always was!
Check article 19 of the _Acts of Union 1707._
That's why our laws, both Scotland and England, are utterly incompatible, as govt is Sovereign, along with the monarch, in England, whereas it is the people who are Sovereign, in Scotland, both our supposed 'govt' and the English monarch in station at our invite and will, both of whom can be summarily dismissed, should such be our wish.
I suppose, come to think of it, both are on zero hour contracts to we Sovereigns.
Both United Kingdoms, *plural,* not singular, as Wastemonster would have the world believe, signed to a bilateral fiscal and economic contract that was supposed to be mutually beneficial, however, before the ink and seals had dried, Wastemonster set their Colonial apparatus in motion, the propaganda began and the *Smoke and Mirrors Show* has continued, unabated, since.
What is required is not something we already possess.
We seek to revoke the union, according to article 18 of the _Acts of Union 1707, which clearly states said contract is not being signed _in perpetuity,_ ergo either or both parties can dissolve it without needing to seek agreement, never mind permission from the other.
England co-signed both copies on this understanding.
It was this insistence about independence, on the part of the snp, that first gave rise to my suspicion they had no genuine will to end the union.
Subsequent research put it beyond any doubt.
The party is, thankfully, hemorrhaging support, that going to other parties set on revoking the union and not to unionist parties themselves.
The union will be broken, but not by any political party, rather by a civic movement, such as SLM.
How Holyrood and Wastemonster explain their failure to maintain the former _status quo_ to their WEF masters should be quite something.
Once the split has occurred the question of us trying to lunge into the EU is debatable.
There are more advantages to us signing up to EFTA and continuing trade with the hundred and thirty-eight countries outside of that particular bloc.
To do otherwise, to mind mind, is like the choice between frying pan and fire, so would prefer weet things settle for a few years, get our bearings, network and enjoy our freedom for a spell.

      Economics escape you, obviously.
Scotland produces 80% of it's energy needs, via renewables, so it would be all too easy to ramp that up to well over 100% and sell the excess off.
As it stands, that 80% is unlawfully used to fuel Southeast England and we receive not one penny in payment!
In fact, Scotland pays more for energy than England does and, due to our weather, we use more.
Fuel poverty should not be an issue in Scotland and we should pay no more for fuel than a nominal fee for wages, maintenance and upkeep.
Changing to renewables gives us the option of leaving the oil and gas in the ground, in order to raise _Gilts_ to finance a central bank, as well as opening up a new opportunity to retrain those in the fuel industries currently unemployed and those who will transfer to the new industry.
I hope you were able to understand these simple solutions.
Naturally, we'll require repayment of our stolen revenues from all three energy fields, _plus_ interest.
As _Hansard_ noted, four months ago, the Acts of Union 1707 did not entitle England to any Scottish territories, waters, resources or revenues!
Do you even have an inkling of what the Barnett Formula/Block Grant is about?
      Of course you don't.
You heard or read someone else throwing it out and decided it might make you look a lot smarter than you actually are.
      Let me explain...
Scotland sends 100% of it's taxes to England; income, import, etc.
Wastemonster creams off *40%* and sends just 60% of our _own_ money back to us.
You think we shod be grateful for being ripped off?
Occasionally, we require more, which comes out of the *stolen* 40%!
If you had an IQ that was larger than double digits you would understand you were being played by Wastemonster and merely spout their propaganda and lies.
England gives Scotland _nothing_ that isn't already Scotland's!
In fact, it's the complete opposite.
Without Scotland's wealth Wastemonster wouldn't have a pot to piss in, which is why they're clinging to Scotland for grim life or they'd be bankrupt without us.
Let me know if you require other facts and figures, which I'll gladly provide and you can research them, if you know the process, I mean.
      Smh and lmao.

So if Scotland became independent are we still going to keep having referendums every few years?

The situation has changed massively since 2014. One of the main arguments to staying in the union was because of the EU but with Brexit now happing that argument holds no water.
We where also promised more devolved powers and are instead having them stripped away by the internal market bill.
Things are changing for worse in the UK it is clear westminster is going more towards the right and with labour in a continues civil war there is no hope for even a left of center government.
Independence is the only hope for Scotland to keep what she holds dear.

No because most of the people who support No are old. Sorry to be brutal but it's true.
