Great info, thank you. I’m still dealing with shortness of breath from viral pneumonia that landed me in the ER a month ago. It took a CAT scan to get a proper dx as it didn’t show up on x-ray. We had already booked a ski trip for last week. I was able to go and actually felt great because I rented a portable oxygen concentrator on the advice and prescription of my physician. I skipped skiing but I was able to walk several miles per day above 8500 ft. I live at sea level. I’d never had pneumonia or anything like it and it was awful and very frightening. The fatigue and SOB are definitely lingering but movement is aiding recovery. I’m glad I found your channel.
I am an athlete with asthma. I have been suffering from a chest infection for many months which was missed by my doctors. I ended up on antibiotics which helped a lot. However after the antibiotics I still have a crackles sensation from the lungs (which has been there from the beginning - before antibiotics). I have gone back to my exercise regime which is quite intense. I am finding that my asthma very bad during this infection and after. My doctor upped my asthma medications, but I have not returned to baseline for 12 months? I am on another round of antibiotics as the infection was quite heavy in both chest and sinuses. CT scan showed mild inflammation throughout the lungs and secretions in left lung, no broncheactisis. I am not sure what to expect after all of this time? Seems like I will never return to how I was 12 months back?
Same but I have real pneumonia, I was diagnosed from it when I was a kid and it went away at 7 but currently it came back . I too fell like there's no cure from it , I used to be all sporty a while back but now I just get saddened even by thinking about it , I am mostly out of breath My doc told me not to exercise , eat fruit or even laugh too much ever again 😢 But I'm learning , that too, over challenges By the way , I've found mew hobbies too Hope we get better ,with time , When one door closes another opens please keep moving forward amidst the challenges ❤
Totul in regular.

Hi, how ong did the Sob last, ?
Finding the boundary is definitely tricky because it’s changeable.
