I had a King Charles Cavalier in Blenheim for 15 years of my life. From age 1-16. I miss her more than anything. Just shy of my 18th birthday last year, we rescued another cavalier, a three year old Black and Tan. She is my entire world, and not a day goes by where I don’t think of my old dog that passed away. If you’re thinking of buying or rescuing (both are honestly loved the same, I have experienced both) Cavaliers are one of the best dogs in the world and I totally recommend for anyone! These are dogs that stick to you for life. They are very love dependant.
Watching this video brought a tear to my eye, I may have to think about rescuing another so she’s not alone...😂☺️

I still love my Cavaliers, although they passed away, the 1st in 2015 and the other 6 months later. They were such good lovable dogs.
Best thing about the pandemic is that my job is now work-at-home full time, so I can get a Cavalier.
When my mom was alive, my dad, and she, and I would sit on the floor sometimes and Lucy, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel would very methodically make her way through all of us, giving us all exactly equal time to adore her. (Scritch her chin and speak to her [even though she was completely deaf] and stroke her luxurious hair, etc.) A couple of minutes, then on to the next person, always clockwise, always about two minutes per person before moving on to the next.
I adore these dogs; I just have to get in touch with a breeder once moving related issues have settled down enough.

this just reminded me of when i first got my baby tricolour 8 years ago, he was the best dog i could’ve ever asked for and unfortunately he passed away from a heart condition a month ago and this video brought me so much joy seeing one again
Lost my tri colour Ben when he was 6 with heart problems was a awesome loving dog but he hated the cat next door 😁
The new puppy is darling but having a Cavalier and knowing how much they love their people it is so hard to watch Bella deal with the new 'princess'.. Cavalier's are such people dogs! We love our Rosco!!!
She looks just like my Dolly! We rescued her from a shelter , she was surrendered after her owner died. I just love her, she is so loyal , won't let me out of her sight, she is 6 and is a handful! Same coloring, and those cute eyebrows oh my.

Cavaliers recognize each other as being the same breed. I have had them for over 26 years now! I can't live without one or two in my life at a time. I have Penny Lane (a Ruby) and Lacee Bella (a Tri-Color). They are both 6 years old.

I have a Cavapoo :) he got the best traits from the Cavalier, the cutest droopy ears (beware ear infections tho), the cutest face that permanently looks like a puppy, gentleness yet playfulness. Love the cavalier breed ❤️

Just crying over here😭 Sadie reminds me of my dog Mira when she was a puppy. She would have turned 3years old a week ago. Unfortunately she died a little over a month ago. She was a beautiful tricolour cavalier.

Our Cavalier, Lucy, LOVED going to the bet. She got so excited when she found out that she would pee (and poop if she needed to poop) pretty much right away, usually on the sidewalk outside the vet's, but occasionally inside. She just loved getting the full attention from the Vets, and the treats they gave when she was well behaved. (We're fairly sure that by injecting into the neck flap that all dogs have for carrying by their mothers, she never felt anything, but she got the treat regardless.)
The disadvantage of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels is their short lifespan. She was just one day away from her tenth birthday when we had to put her to sleep. My family cried a lot that day. If I am ever in a 100% solid work at home position, I will get a CKCV. They're the best, even with a short lifespan.
I actually did change things up in my home once I got my Rubygrl! I started working from home and my Rubygrl never spent a day alone! Best decision I ever made. I pick up my new Cavi on 12.11.22 in Athens OH. I’m retired now and my little guy will have his perfect forever home!
We got a Cavalier King Charles spaniel in July we named Trinket - a tricolor just like your newer one. She’s so beautiful it’s hard to believe she’s ours. She’s so cuddly, full of life, and so intelligent! I can’t believe how smart she is - and I’ve had many Spaniels which, as a category of dogs, are among the most intelligent breeds I’ve ever seen; they even beat out German Shepherds, coonhounds, retrievers, pinschers, and beagles - all breeds and mixes of dogs I’ve had. It’s been a wonderful journey with her and watching her grow up has been such a privilege.

My mom just lost her 15 year cavilier and I've been searching everywhere for a decent breeder I live in Georgia but I'm willing to drive to California to get her one preferably by Christmas from the right breeder. If you know of any I would be grateful 🙏

My mum has a cav. We fell in love with the breed and we have a new cav. named Finn. They are the most sweet, kind, funny and wonderful breeds of dog you will ever meet. However, please only get a Cav. if you will be home a lot. Cavs. have to be with their families 24/7. ❤️☮️😂

Cavaliers are so sweet that people often get two. I had 2 but not at the same time. They need a lot of grooming so unless that doesn't bother you get one or 2 but clean their teeth. They tend to get really bad .
Awwwww! I had a tricolour cavalier when I was growing up. She was called Sarah (meaning princess) her nickname was “Beautiful girl”. She had a long, happy and healthy life. ❤️
Edit: just looked this up: Sadie is a derivative of the name Sarah so it also means Princess.💕xxx

Oh my, your video took me back many years, I have very fond memories of my cavaliers, that I have had over a 30 year span, 12 in total, I've never had one on its own. In a few weeks your girls will be the greatest of friends, and chasing around each other like mad. Which I usually called the mad half hour, very hilarious to watch. Enjoy your girls they are the most affectionate breed of dog to own, wish you many years of love and fun with them, cherish every moment 💕

Look up Brenda Cavalier on facebook, she is a good breeder who doesn’t charge an arm and a leg...I’m getting two of them from her. I visited her on Thanksgiving and she knows her fur babies well...
CKCSC.org is the breed club. Check their site. Breeders are held to standards for the welfare of the breed. Rescue is another good source.

Your son is such a sweet and kind kid! You raised both your dog and children very well! Kudos to your patience and love. I have an English cocker spaniel and I'll never forget my parents who were indifferent to dogs to the point of not liking them but when they saw my then puppy Brielle and spent some time with her, they absolutely fell in love and now treat her more like their daughter than their own daughter(me😂😭)I love how they always care not to pull her on an uncomfortable hug or make her anxious in any way and found and paid for my dog trainer( Im a uni student and live with my pup in another city quite away from my hometown) . Dogs really do bring families together.

Brings a tear to my eyes reminds me of my Maisy who also was a Tri colour Cavalier sadly i had to let her go to sleep last july she was nearly 16 years it was the most heartbreaking decision i have ever made, my life is still in mourning i miss the sounds of her pitter patter running around on the wooden floors. I miss her love and her greetings at the door when i returned there is never one day i dont think about her she was not just a dog she was my Baby x

So cute both your dogs. I´m getting a 4-year old Cav. King Charles/jack russell cross on Sunday and I´m adopting him. He has had a family prior. He´s so cute. He has the jack russell coloring but with longer coat and the nose looks like the cavalier king charles nose. I have had two English Cockers for almost 14 years.
