I can't get over how subtle, but powerful 28:56 and everything that leads up to it is. Johnny starts to remember what his sensei taught him many years ago when he was young. To always be a winner, but then he snaps back to the present and sees what's in the mirror. Robby is right, Daniel & Miyagi-Do preach self-defense & balance whereas Cobra Kai preaches no mercy & fighting just for the sake of fighting!!!
@@DragonHeart613 The OLD Cobra Kai taught that! But Johnny punished Miguel & Hawk for that already and made his entire class white-belts again to start over, taking out the "no mercy" part in order to be more honorable. It's Kreese's return and his influence that ruins everything.
@@KenDaKingArrives I agree that Johnny is trying to redeem Cobra Kai & it was awesome to see him punish Miguel & Hawk for their actions last season but now that Kreese has successfully manipulated Johnny into allowing him back into both his life & into Cobra Kai, Johnny is in danger of being consumed by the dark side all over again!!!
It's clear that Kreese learned a thing or two about psychological warfare from his infamous old friend: Terry Silver!!! The old Kreese would've just kept physically antagonizing & threatening Johnny non-stop just as he did in the opening scene of TKK2 but now here is Kreese using mindgames & false modesty just like Silver did in TKK3 in order to worm his way back into Johnny's good graces so he can inevitably scheme to retake Cobra Kai & ensure that it remains as twisted as it's always been!!!
It's gonna be a Cobra Kai civil war and Miyagi-Do is gonna find itself smack-dab in the middle of it!!!
That sh*t hurt my feelings! 😵😞
@@DragonHeart613 Yeah, it's gonna take Miyagi-Do's presence and the fact that Cobra Kai's top students and Miyagi-Do original two students are friends in order to find some kind of X-factor that ends the conflict. Also, Johnny will have to figure out Kreese is the still the problem and force him out of the picture once & for all.

@@nathanielknight1838 Nope....William Zabka only learned martial arts after he shot Karate Kid. The only reason he looked so good in the original Karate Kid was choreography.
