Loved your enthusiastic reaction. Back in April 2023 Babymetal permanently filled the long standing opening left by Yui back in 2017/2018. Momo their new member does legitimately growl. Good job guys.
Welcome back. This collaboration was on the cards for a long time. BMTH and BABYMETAL have been good friends since they first met in the UK in 2015 and had often spoken about wanting to collaborate. In 2019 BABYMETAL invited BMTH to tour with them in Japan and in 2020 BMTH recorded this song featuring BABYMETAL. Originally BABYMETAL sent their contributions entirely in English. Oli Sykes from BMTH asked them to include some Japanese. It took until this time last year before they finally managed to get together to play it live. This was at the NEX_FEST events arranged by BMTH in Japan. BABYMETAL played their own set at all 4 events and came back out to perform this live with BMTH each time. BABYMETAL have several collaborations and songs featuring other artists. - Kimi To Anime Ga Mittai was a sort of collaboration with Death Pop band Kiba of Akiba where each band covered the other's song. - Road of Resistance had guitar arrangements by Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce who also played on the studio recording for the album version. - Rob Halford from Judas Priest performed live with BABYMETAL at the APMAs in 2016 - they performed 'Painkiller' and 'Breaking The Law' together. - Da Da Dance featured Tak Matsumoto's guitar solo (he is from Japan's biggest ever selling band B'z). - Oh! Majinai features guest vocalist Joakim Broden from Sabaton. - Brand New Day features Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage. - PA PA YA is the song featuring Thai rapper F Hero - Distortion has guest vocalist Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy providing harsh vocals. - Metali features guitarist Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine - BABYMETAL are featured on The End by Lil Uzi Vert. - BABYMETAL also feature on Tak Matsumoto's group TMG's song Eternal Flames. - F Hero, BABYMETAL and Thailand's biggest rock band collaborated on Leave It All Behind. You already know RATATATA and now Kingslayer. Upcoming collaborations or features include one with Poppy, another with Polyphia should be on the next Polyphia album and Bloodywood have leaked another. I think that's it so far other than Red Hot Chilli Peppers, DragonForce and somebody from Korn who joined them on stage (not all at the same time) to play Guimme Chocolate. Su and Moa also made a very brief cameo appearance in Corey Taylor's video for CMFT Must Be Stopped.
And they appeared with Skrillex, and have songs in movies and Pro wrestling and lets not get into all the groups they have opened for or who have opened for them!!! It goes on and on and on and.... LoL!! My head hurts..... Put your Kitsune UP!!
@@Grington300 LoL!! Yep..and he started it way before they were even fully on the stage,,,they had to pick it up mid verse! But they were Pro's and jumped right into it!!
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。They performed "REAL" Kingslayer (BMTH+BM on stage together) 4 times in Japan last year as a special rendition in the festival curated and hosted by BMTH. I witnessed the 2nd REAL one in Nagoya on Nov.1. That was mesmerizing 😍 and I forgot to breathe during the performance. In an interview Momometal made an interesting comment like : (1) The theme of this choreo is "collision of souls" that has an image like we throw the power multiplied by the two bands at the audience. (2) We danced with our fullest power and solid determination : "We do not care no matter what happens to us after the performance" I saw the girls literally do it hard. (BABYMETAL did this performance after their own intense one-hour show in the festival.) The one thing worried me was the statement at the end of this song in the final show in Tokyo on Nov.4. After joyful hugs with the girls, Oli said "We are never gonna play Kingslayer without them, ever again. Just not right." But I found that there was no need to worry. In 2024 BMTH started to use 3 CG figures resembling the girls on the backdrop. And the two groups have performed this song together in USA, Austria, Tokyo (again), Indonesia and Austria this year.
I am a fan of BABYMETAL in Japan and not so familliar with Bring Me the Horizon. But this is a cool collaboration. Please react to BM songs more. Thank you from Japan.
One of the best of Babymetal. BMTH is among us for a minute. They had a some style changes over the years, including nu metal, death core -ish and radiofriendly rock music. So it possible that you heard one of the songs of the lighter version of them. I like this collab song very much.
Well this collab dependet a nit on the history of Babymetal. You could say you learn languages not in a day. This was 2015 the normal Backstage area was no longer as scary as originally , but Su had the problem that Yui abd Mia started to become interesting but Sus English was still rather bad abd slow. Ollie from bring me rhe Horizont had observed these foreign looking ziny girls that always vanished in the backstage area and he wanted to at least speak with them. He finally got the idea to wear a Babymetal T -Shirt so that he did not looked as scary to them. And he explained to them that he was from this area and everybody knew him abd he offered the Girls to be their guide. They simply became friends with each other and they wanted to do something together but thex never found the time. Then the first rumours of Corona appeared and BMTH knew that they had pnly limited time, so he send Su some lines that Su might sing. And he got her reply back and he wanted to know if she could sing some lines in japanese and it got Su a bit much, so she kicked her team in motion. Koba never wanted to limit his girls in anyway so they had standing orders to support the girls within limits.. And Ollie recognizedvthat with Su's help he could go all in. Abd BMHT released the song on their CD and they payed Babymetal accordingly. And three years later therecwas a new Babymetal. Abd Vabymetal helped them to prepare their first Festival in Japan.abd they wanted to do their song together. There were four concerts together. And the first time it was a limited flop. Su was too excited and ran out of breath. The concert that we see here us mostly based on their tokyo concert that was the third concert. An interesting point : Jordan Fish was always the main composer of BMHT and he left BMHT and he became the Manager of Poppie. Abd Poppie will be one of the Opening Bands for Babymetal in their first European abd UK Arena Tour. And theircare some rumours that Babymetal will have a Collab with Poppie.
Love ur reaction. I love babymetal but bmth brought me to your channel. their older music was way heavier than this but somewhere along the way their music became softer. They're starting to get back to heavy lately tho. now I'd love to see you react to more of their music.
Nice reaction. Those deep headbangs have followed to Babymetal shows. Moa and Momo get really into it. There's a whole video of Moa wiping her hair at the edge of the stage. I think as you can tell they had a blast finally getting to do this song with BMTH. Depayed for so long because of covid. But when we finally got it. They made it worth the wait.
all their collabs have been really good (except the one with Lil Uzi Vert ... we don't talk about that one). looks like y'all also did Pa Pa Ya , which was with F.Hero. Speaking of -- they did one early this year with F.Hero and Thai rock band Bobyslam, song is _Leave it all Behind_ , which is really good. and then there's _Omajinai_ , which they did with Joakim from Sabaton. i heard a rumor that Babymetal's people have been in talks with Alex Terrible .... i REALLY hope that happens -- will be FIRE.
Please do a reaction to up-and-coming all-female rock band from New York *Plush* . This is their most recent single "Run". It reached #26 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. ruclips.net/video/ywr9RBxnFGU/видео.htmlsi=tkjARRzjdISenygX
Love seeing y’all mention not thinking BMTH was screamy, but I remember seeing them in small venues growing up. They are insanely versatile, and deserve a lot of credit for the popularity of heavy music now. 🤘🏻

Old BMTH were a deathcore band and lots of harsh vocals. Newer BMTH had few harsh vocals but they went back to their roots with Babymetal.
