    • @thecamocowboyoutdoors5693
      @thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 3 года назад

      @@saskyoutdoors , Lol. Well I'm jealous of the Coyotes. You have alot paler colored dawgs in the south. My Cousin from Langham gave 5 to me one year. The ones I catch here can't compare. You don't have to go much farther north than me and the dawg population really dwindles. Nice to meet you! Now I have to go back and catch up on your vids! Great stuff!

    • @saskyoutdoors
      @saskyoutdoors  3 года назад +1

      I don’t think your to far from me I’m in the Lloydminster are , I used to trap down by Moose Jaw and the coyotes are even a lot paler down there than up here

    • @saskyoutdoors

    I have had the anchor on a power ram fail before, luckily I was able to find the coyote and the ram. He ran maybe 150 yards or so and died under a log. The trail was pretty obvious as the ram markings in the snow showed up well. Not sure if I would have found him if it was snowing though. Some nice numbers off of your baits this episode! Congrats!

    • @saskyoutdoors
      @saskyoutdoors  3 года назад

      Thanks bud , yeah I followed him throughout the bush and I was hoping he’d be dead somewhere but I couldn’t figure out which way he went in the end because of the fresh snow

      Not sure on my total so far, will have to get a count , 4 mangy ones so far. Last year I had 107 total and only 3 sick ones .

    • @bcwolf85
      @bcwolf85 3 года назад +1

      Right on that is pretty good! I had to burn 8 and another 3-4 that had shoulder mites but were still salvageable out of 73 last year. This year out of 30 so far I had to burn 5.
