Beauty catches! I get so jacked up when a guy hooked up on multiples! Nice work out there. I’ve had some good luck at one bait this week! Vids to come!
@@saskyoutdoors , Lol. Well I'm jealous of the Coyotes. You have alot paler colored dawgs in the south. My Cousin from Langham gave 5 to me one year. The ones I catch here can't compare. You don't have to go much farther north than me and the dawg population really dwindles. Nice to meet you! Now I have to go back and catch up on your vids! Great stuff!
I don’t think your to far from me I’m in the Lloydminster are , I used to trap down by Moose Jaw and the coyotes are even a lot paler down there than up here
What did you get for your coyotes if I may ask ? There down about 25$ compared to last year's prices here in Montana, but I think we do it more for enjoyment of the sport anyways
I have had the anchor on a power ram fail before, luckily I was able to find the coyote and the ram. He ran maybe 150 yards or so and died under a log. The trail was pretty obvious as the ram markings in the snow showed up well. Not sure if I would have found him if it was snowing though. Some nice numbers off of your baits this episode! Congrats!
Thanks bud , yeah I followed him throughout the bush and I was hoping he’d be dead somewhere but I couldn’t figure out which way he went in the end because of the fresh snow
Right on that is pretty good! I had to burn 8 and another 3-4 that had shoulder mites but were still salvageable out of 73 last year. This year out of 30 so far I had to burn 5.
I just subscribed. CP here. I took my trappers course last winter then things just got too busy. I'm hoping to get a couple of yots this year yet bit I have to get supplies.. Nice yots you caught there
Awesome 👍. Helping out the farmers/ranchers before calving season is a win win for both of you 😎
For sure it is especially when I see first hand what they do to baby calves, that sometimes aren’t even out of the cow yet
These are the days all trappers dream about!! Not only big numbers but some gorgeous looking fur!!! Congrats to you brother.
Thanks!! and it’s definitely something that’s been on my trapping bucket list
Fantastic job !! Beauties
Hey hey that's awsome day love watchin the power ram snaring you fella do. Beautiful songdogs.
I caught two one time running 12 snares good job

@@saskyoutdoors, ok, ya not to far at all. I'm in Pierceland area. Right in the north west corner, up against the Meadow lake provincial Park!
I thought so , I go fishing up there by Water Hen and Dore quite a bit in summer
Congratulations. Those are some real beauties
A sweet day on the line for sure and a rare one at just one bait. Keep it up buddy 👍.
Thanks bud I appreciate it
Good stuff, I think I have only caught 4 coyotes at a bait at once and it was with the same time as I caught a wolf, all wolf rams.
One year at my nabours at Rockford by the valley I caught 45 coyotes behind his house on a dead cow .
Awesome stuff
Just found ya and watched a few vids. Looks like you got it figured out and are slamming them dogs. Keep it up and I will be watching
Took out the whole damn pack hahah good job man my best day was 4
Smoke a pack a day lol

Yeah I don’t do it for the money ,although it is a nice bonus at the end of the day .and my coyotes avg about 30$ less than last year
Nice work ! Hammering those dogs !
If every check was like this I’d be over the moon lol
Awesome!Congrats

Thank you!
Awesome catches!! And all nice looking coyotes to boot! What is your total for the year so far? And how many sickly ones?
Not sure on my total so far, will have to get a count , 4 mangy ones so far. Last year I had 107 total and only 3 sick ones .
Right on that is pretty good! I had to burn 8 and another 3-4 that had shoulder mites but were still salvageable out of 73 last year. This year out of 30 so far I had to burn 5.
That’s not good . It seems that this year its worse for whatever reason
Might need anchors to keep track of those rams buddy. Great day for sure 👍👍
Thanks man ! Yeah I do have cable anchors on them I’m almost certain I overcrimped the Ferrells on two that’s why the dogs took of with them
@@saskyoutdoors lol sucks when that happens. Keep up the awesome job!!!
Some dam nice dogs man!!!
Nice coyotes! What part of Saskatchewan are you in?
Very nice
So how does the ram work? Do you have a video on them? Looks awesome..
Those ram snares are very effective. I have seen where a coyote was snared and didn't move a foot from the snaring, no fight, no struggle.
Awesome! Love it when a plan comes together. Beautiful coyotes.
Thanks brother , it’s not very often that it works out like that
Great catch buddy thats a good run.
Thanks bud! If every check was like that I’d be a rich lol jk
Per chance are a Saskatchewan brother? I'm Albertan and just popped across your channel. Love it so far
Sure am bud, hence the channel name lol
Awesome video bud, what do you like to use for bait?
Road kill ,butcher scraps whatever is available
great job you saved a lot of fawns
I hope so that’s part of why I trap
Boy that's something congratulations
Thanks !
Nice work

You have the method figured out.
Hard to believe how many coyotes are in that barren god forsaken place! One thing for certain, their fur and color is the best in that cold!
How you make out on your coyotes? Did you sell to 2 rivers or gfw?
Gfw .and Not to bad I had a few early ones in there which brought down the average
WOW what beautiful coyotes. Congrats on the catch let us know what the big one weighs. Subbed ya.
Thanks I’m definitely going to weight that brute
Subbed back . Have you had good luck with that pipe set for coyotes?
Yes my go to set in bad weather
Ok .pretty neat I must say
Fencing pliers are the best to dispatch coyotes that are still alive in the ram. The hutterites are happy there's no bullets holes too.
The local deer population thanks you
Yup that’s another reason I trap and snare coyote
What kind of seat up is he using
What kind of snares you mean ?
That’s an awesome day on the line. We will be back at it this Wednesday
Thanks!! I’ll be watching
On behalf of all other animals.....thank you
👍
Where is the place lot of coyote in Colorado?
I’m in Saskatchewan Canada
Walk up to your snare in snow give them a easy trail to follow
That doesn’t work in my area as soon as they see man tracks they turn around and avoid that area like the plague
that is making the pack smaller in a short time .
Never go out without your gun. You're old enough to know that by now.
You aren't Amish by any chance? You sure have that accent. No offense intended
Lol none taken ,and no I’m
Not
Know wonder you had to get your truck fixed it’s a ford
Teach flair to snare
Haha trapperJ can teach him lol
brutal
