To be a teenager in Early-Mid 90s? It was a blast. We set the standard. Almost 25 years later, nothing's been better. Matter of fact these kids these days coping our style. Hair, clothes.
1 in 6 1/2 billion as the earth's population stands. people try n copy but even if close, its not good imo as they need there own sound. take inspiration off Layne for sure coz he's fn the best, but put ur own stamp on it. love S.T.
Cameron Jessup yes Layne is/was amazing but it's not like he was playing with a bunch of scrubs, Mike Mcready, Barret Mars(can't remember his last name played for Screaming Trees I believe) who is a beast on the skjns
Completely agree man, sorry if my post makes it sound like I am just a Layne Staley fanboy and thought Mad Season were a one man show. The other guys in the band were all awesome musicians as well McCready is awesome with Pearl Jam and was great in Temple of the Dog and Barrett Martin was a beast on the drums. I loved that both he and Mark Lanegan played on this album, Lanegan and Staley singing together on long gone day is pretty unreal!
Cameron Jessup oh no not at all just wanted to spread the love to some other great musicians. Have you checked out some vids on YT of Maynard singing for AIC.. it's pretty cool
I love Wake Up it feels like it comes from a very lonely place but really pulls at me. X-Ray Mind or Lifeless Dead are probably my favourite tunes from the album though. It is hard to pick a favourite though as they are all so solid. Have a lot of time for MJK, different style of vocalist to Staley but still awesome, really like Tool and liked his work singing with Chino Moreno of Deftones on Passenger. Didn't love Puscifier though

I never posted the full show man .. They took it down!
How crushing for other bands, they cant sound this polished in the studio let alone live. Love the Mad Season work as another side of Layne.
