It's an impressive set but I really think the retriggering of the same pad still sounds awful. When I build a virtual drumset in my DAW I always make sure to have at least 5-10 samples for the same pad and same velocity so even if you trigger the same drum multiple times at identical velocities you still get different sounding hits.
