Snyder is a visual story teller. I love his visuals and how he can portray the exact same scene from a graphic novel
Basically by doing a scene to scene recreation
So sad WB treats him and DC as trash in movies.
@@Yebi263 isn't that what all directors who don't write their own scripts do - recreate scenes that are in the script? It's also worth noting that 300 wasn't a page-for-page copy of the Frank Miller story. For one, Miller's story doesn't involve fantasy elements. It was a semi-historical tale which occupied the same world as ours. Snyder's version is definitely a fantasy. And two, the parallel story of Queen Gorgo as seen in the film isn't in the novel. It was invented for the movie at Snyder's request, who felt the character should've been more involved in the story.
WB is doing a great job with these fantastic documentary style bts.. Enjoying every one of these..

I remember when the big talk around the world about this movie was the amount of cgi used. Today it is standard.
I'll never forget being 12 years old and me and my dad ditching church so we could go see this movie without my mom knowing. Still one of my favorite movies to this day.

WB it is in your best interest to keep allowing Zack Snyder to make films for you.
One thing many people don't understand about comic book movies is that they are based on comic books...they are not supposed to be realistic (don't confuse with grounded) or historically accurate if the comic books aren't. They're supposed to be how their creators envisioned them to be. This is what makes Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, while great in their own rights, BAD comic book movies and Snyder's movies so great. Snyder understands comic books better than any other director who made comic-based movies. Movies like Watchmen, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, this are at the apex of comic book movies.

This movie impacted and shaped the kind of movies i like or wanted to see going forward. Zack's visual style blew me away and just about every frame he shoots could be framed up and hung on a wall. I can't wait to see his true version of Justice League next year and see how he translates those characters to the big screen. I hope he continues and gets to direct or produce Ben Afflecks solo movie to top it all off.

I think Zack Used Tons of Slow Mo so That the audience can properly see How accurate The shot is to the graphic novel. He wants you to feel like You are watching one of those Motion Comics where it’s moving slightly. But not enough so that it looks like a comic book. I think that’s why he slows down. Just to replicate the shots and show it.

Snyder is the best at adapting graphic novels. I want more of this from him. His Man of Steel was great and I even loved BvS, but he should consider going back to translating the best comic stories to film.
I disagree. Snyder was 1/3rd of the writing team that wrote the terrible "B" plot of the cheating queen.
