Always rooting for Infiniti to bounce back and im so glad we’re getting somewhere. Been a fan since learning how to drive in a 2003 G35. Let’s go Infiniti!
3:28 To my eyes, the center appears to be farther away. Similar to Street lights along a straight rd. It’s a 3 dimensional effect. The pattern is larger on the outside edges and then they get slightly smaller towards the center. ✌️
So many brands have pop out handles, just because range rover was the first doesn't mean Infiniti was copying range rover. Infiniti was the first manufacturer to offer a rear view camera in the USDM market in 2002, Nobody says other brands were copying Infiniti! I can say the same about BSM and Lane Departure, Infiniti never gets the recognition it deserves for it's constant innovation
😅I like the Kia inspired rear lights ... I love everything else. 😅Kinda of a mix. Lexus Dash. Cadillac screen. Range rover/Lincoln exterior 👏 but good mix
3:30 the concept is if you look at it straight on it looks like you’re driving down a road to Infiniti. The way it narrows to the center and gives that illusion. Same thing with the new Logo it looks like two roads going down a never ending road.
20:58 Good review, but You're American and you don't know Klipsch it an American loudspeaker company based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in Hope, Arkansas, in 1946 .Klipsch Group, Inc., the parent company of Klipsch Audio Technologies, also owns the Danish loudspeaker firm Jamo, and in 2006 acquired the brands of Mirage, Athena and Energy from Audio Products International (API) of Canada
Rear light bar design enigma is in fact no enigma at all: It said loud and clear, it shout .. INFINITY by that design. Ask any visual artist or designer . It's kind of INFINITE light, INFINITE road lightened in each side, or lighting from a landing strip of airport.
I am Japanese living in Canada, and I currently own my second Range Rover. My father is still nagging, saying I can buy an Asian luxury SUV and I'll be just as happy lol. I admit I do not need the particular model I have, and have been browsing alternatives. This was an excellent, very objective review! Thanks 😊
@@ItsAlive111 no question the engine is good but also a Hybrid and a Plug in Hybrid as a option for the customers would be nice, I mean you must expect this from a luxury brand these days.

Been waiting for this Infiniti for a while. Design and luxury wise, it’s great and I love. Would have gone for it had they not messed with the cargo space. It’s too small behind the 3rd row
If you look at the taillights from afar, the way it goes from big to small from the sides coming in, it seems like an infinite light that stretches on. Maybe that's what they're trying to achieve to mimic the name of the brand

The Z engine is just fine. Over 400hp for a car that weighs just over 3500 Lbs is a missile. If you want more power from the Z, get the Nismo upgrades...bigger intercooler, Nismo intakes, Nismo Street or track exhaust and a nismo/ecutek tune. You'll be pushing close to 500hp to the wheels. Anything more then 400hp is a death trap unless you can really drive
@SamCarLegion ...wow....initially I thought that vehicle sat low compared to its previous models. That definitely is sharpe.....maybe I can win one in a contest😆😉
@ General Motors on the whole is superior hence why they own the majority of the market share in every market can’t argue with the math and sales figures for every year since inception
Sam, one can appreciate your amatuer opinion. This really doesn't help answer the question. Nissan and Infiniti are on the edge of a clift. PS the car looks like brian from family guy.
No Nissan, except the GTR, should cost above $100K CAD. I know not everyone out there can afford to pay for a car that is over $100k CAD in cash. Most people will not understand or conceptualize what a typical buyer who can afford to pay cash for a car that is over $100k CAD. One thing is for sure, those buyers are not actively looking to buy a Nissan that costs over $100k (except of course the GTR). Nissan's Infiniti brand has always been known to give good value for its price and undercut the competition with lower costs, more power, more features, more warranty etc. This is the default mindset of all Infiniti buyers out there since forever: Those buyers could or choose not to stretch their dollar a little more to go with Lexus, Mercedes, or BMW. Infiniti is really near death. I have seen many Infiniti Dealers close and the only way to buy them is through Nissan Dealerships today.
Thank you for the response. This topic is really about Infiniti and Nissan and not about Acura, Lincoln, and Lexus. I do have guarded sentiments about Acura and Lincoln. Lexus, however, is a top player in this space. I would not be surprised if affluent people who pay cash for their cars are cross shopping the LX with vehicles such as the BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, Cadillac Escalade etc. Have a great day!
Where are all the old Camrys and older Toyota and Honda and Hyundai Models????? Nissan Models are all over the roads. Put some Respect on Nissan INFINITI
Imagine you’re an exterior designer for an international luxury car brand like Infiniti and some random RUclipsr walks up to the back of the car you probably spent 2+ years slaved over and he goes “there’s no thought to this”. lol.
Yes this thing is really nice and Infiniti killed it but of course they then priced it and turned it into Infiniti semi shit again and killed it! 🤦♂️.
It’s not slower, the patrol is 425 hp and heavier than the qx80 and it’s faster than the land cruiser which is lighter , this one is 450hp and lighter than the patrol
Auto makers going insane😂this looks like an office, not just a damn car to commute! Why would anyone want all of these stupid things in a car, just stay home and enjoy yourself. Back to basics please😂
To the point, if I want a luxury SUV which I use on daily purpose, I would pick LEXUS LX 600 because it is more reliable and I want that at the end of the day. But if I want a really luxury SUV which is more comfortable and have nice interior I would choose Range Rover Autobiography or something similar. So, I think the market for the infiniti QX80 is very small compared to other SUV. But yeah its a very nice SUV!
But also...I agree this doesn't hold a light to the 2025 Ford Expedition or 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Ford Expedition will be awarded the best. It's too forward thinking.
Infiniti, Infiniti, shame on you making this monster car for absolutely no purpose other then gangsta style with tinted windows! I wish they made new sporty sedan that we can really enjoy not this thing.
Infiniti sales down by 13% and nissan lay off, ceo pay cut. Infiniti has been the second or maybe third choice in a very crowded and ultra competitive market. With Genesis showing up to play it’s really blown a lot of potential sales for them coupled with a really awful looking lineup. There’s a lot of reasons to choose something else. 🚗📉
Have a family member who works for Nissan Motor Corp and yea Nissan is cooked. S&P downgraded Nissan to a “junk” rating on their debt to income score. Sales plummeting in North America and China where 50% of all their sales comes from. Nissan/Infinity have the highest inventory on dealer lots in the U.S. and dealers profits are down 70% from this time last year. Desperately needing R&D with negative cash flow to invest.
Get rid of their CVT along with their 4 cylinder engines. They would have been in a better position. Nissan has been the 3rd place finisher between Toyota, Honda, and Nissan for at least 30 years. The last Nissan I’ve owned was an early 2K Maxima GLE. To me, they took the value position. Honda the sport and Toyota the quality position.
