You are literally a cheerleader for ageism. I am in my fifties and most of my male friends are as well, none of us us fall into your stereotypes. That said all of us struggle with meeting a comparable female (in our age group), hence we look for younger. Ideally we would like to meet someone age appropriate but anyone decent is in a relationship. Finding a physically fit female in her fifties is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Yet again it's possible to still find love in your age bracket if you are open at heart 💜
It is hard to find a physically fit woman that is 35. I workout regularly and in gym is mostly men at least 10 men for 1 woman. The women are at a restaurant shoveling in more food. Traveling to other countries like Thailand or the Philippines maybe eastern Europe seems to be the best option when looking for attractive women with a good attitude. The entitlement of American women also is very unattractive.
I dont agree with this needle in a haystack comment unless your current community is full of unhealthy women. I live in Wilmington NC and you should see the mature women who walk their dogs or jog down the riverwalk by my boat. They look better than a lot of 30 year olds.
@@marcsorensen1184 You make a good point, demographics. Where I live we are the gateway to the north, oil country. We have exponentially more men than females so the women don’t try very hard (because they don’t have to). The men have to compete for the women so they maintain and keep their physique (for as long as they can). If you go to a gym here you’ll see men of various ages who are healthy and fit but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a woman over 40 in good shape, period!
How fit are you in your 50s? Your skin sags i bet. The problem is men have convinced themselves they look younger than they are. I bet you're 50 but, look 30?
Advice for men over 40: Get in shape, work on your looks, make money, do cool things, dont take a woman's BS, go for younger childless women with good attitudes, you make the decisions on where to go or what to do.

I am a huge supporter of anyone achieving anything they like. People giving the opposite gender more than very basic dating advice (like bathe and speak in complete sentences) is one of the few exceptions to my belief.
Oh my GOD, I spent 18 years with that, and now that I am free of it, it is amazing that how stupid I was to deal with things.
Thanks to the manosphere and red pill community there will be less of those poisonous relationships in the future. I started searching when my marriage was such a mess and I was doing everything right. I fixed the problem (divorce) and now have more peace since then than I can last remember.
For the guys that didn't actually take the time to watch, she isn't saying to blindly date women your age. She is saying men need to do the work in their lives if they expect a certain type of woman regardless of age. In others words, accountability. You need to match with your woman otherwise it will fail, and this concept transcends age, race, etc.
Uh, did you really just say "accountability" to us men!? You need to get a clue. WOMEN need to start taking accountability. For example, I stopped listening 10 seconds into this video because she asked "don't you want a women who knows what she wants"? You find a woman who knows what she wants and is consistent with it and I'll sell you this pair of unicorns I have.

Very rare to meet a woman over 30 without issues be they financial, mental, physical.
The issue is that even a great woman can change in mid life and become a nightmare due to mental issues and menopause....or just plain grasping by opting for divorce to grab it all and wreck your hard earnt lifestyle and wealth.

From a 58-year-old man’s perspective I feel this is all Very intelligent advice! All of it! I’ve done a tremendous amount of research and work on my own, dated quite a bit, And I’m currently in a three-year wonderful relationship following advice just like this.
Work on yourself, put in a tremendous effort, and you’ll get tremendous results.
Advice to my fellow men out there, look in the mirror and look at yourself closely. In the simplest of terms,If you are a 3in the looks department and you’re trying to date at 10, You’re clueless and setting yourself up for lots of pain. If you’re looking for a younger woman, you are again setting yourself up for a lots of pain. Look for an emotionally intelligent woman, that takes care of herself, and is growing as a person as you should be as well.
I’m going to share this with my friends in the hopes that they will finally wise up!

Also, be financially secure and self-sufficient, and expect the same. We’re all grownups and should be able to support ourselves.
I'm 41, and dating 20s to early 30s. That whole "using you for your money" is a problem with a lot of women at ALL ages.
1.) A lot of older single women carry a LOT of mental baggage or unresolved personality issues.
2.) A lot of older single women are still just as deluded as some of the younger girls who also shoot for men way over them.
3.) A lot of older single women have sky high numbers (hundreds) of men who they've had sex with...very difficult for those women to settle down, and we all know it. I'm supposed to wine and dine and take serious a women who I KNOW met and had sex with some random dude the night of meeting him. I'm talking from first hand experience.
4.) There's no "building" with a women who's 40+. Kids are probably out of the question by that point, and you both have your own careers probably. Mix that with shitty personalities, then there's just no point.

I'm 42 I want to date my age. At my age the women have been run through by a bunch of guys who have treated her horribly. When I get with them they are so broken that they leave because they are not used to being treated right.

Yes! After 35 women are sooo messed up, and going more downhill (there are exceptions). Stick to the 20 year something for as long as you can. You can always go after the 30 year old after that - men don't have a biological clock so we don't real have a 'time is running out' issue

I am healthy, great cook, great parent, good dancer, adventurous, loyal, present, i take care of my skin, i'm financially stable not rich, treat my partners well with attention, support, service, time, and gifts. Very few older guys who have got their shit together. Stay healthy, continue to learn, be inspiring. If you have all of these traits you will have the pick of the women.

The problem is that men do NOT want a woman to know what she wants. We want to guide her and show her "what she wants". A woman who knows what she wants (usually a man with a good status) is, in principle, extremely uninteresting to men. 😉

I'm turning 50 this year and much prefer women my age and older. Younger women make me feel old. But even though I prefer women my age and older I still find I get hung up on attractive women out of my league😆
I bet at least you had several girlfriends before whereas I just can't get one. I am a guy who turned 23 just over a month ago(on 22nd December) and I never had a girlfriend before. I had my first ever date a bit over 4 months ago at the age of 22. She was 19(turned 20 a week ago) and we went to the mall and ate in Mcdonalds and had my first hug ever from a girl but still yet to get my first kiss and I was pulling her cheeks a lot as she is really cute. 2 weeks after the date, she turned out to be mean and toxic to me and blocked me everywhere. She basically just used me for free lunch and to take lots of pics of her so she can post them on social media. For the past 6 months, I also have been crushing on this girl in the class where I go for preparation of exams to get into an MBA B School as I just graduated college 6 months ago and planning to study MBA next. She also just turned 23 over a week ago and she has called me cute before and I pulled her cheeks twice too but I am usually shy near girls in person so she is the one who usually initiates conversations with me and its usually short as I have nothing more to say as an introvert. I do see her with some male friends so that makes me worried thinking what if she goes for either of them.
3 months ago, I went out with this another girl in that same class and she is also 23 but idk whether to count it as a date as we are just friends. We just roamed around our city and then had lunch in a big restaurant and had lots of fun. I did pull her cheeks once while taking selfie but was shy to ask for a hug. We might go out again in Feb probably. But today I got a new crush(yeah I am a mess haha) on this another girl who is also 22 or 23 in the same institute but different classrooms and she is one of the prettiest girl I have ever seen but I was again shy to approach her but I got to know her name and followed her on Instagram but she is yet to accept it and maybe then I will message her after 2-3 days. I also have been chatting with this another girl on Instagram for over 6 months. She is 19(turning 20 in April). We used to be in the same school but didn't know each other in school days and only have been knowing each other since July 2023. We are planning to meet up too and eat somewhere as we are both foodies and we send each other virtual hugs in the chats daily and she is really sweet too. But in the end I am still single.

I'm looking for specific advice. All I can find on RUclips is basic advice that all men should already know by the time they are 18 or 20. Dating apps are for lazy men and largely broken people so I'm not doing that. What if you are in your forties, have all your stuff together ,but you're just simply not in a position to meet any women? I also cannot bring myself to specifically go out and look for a woman as I think that is creepy. I'd like to meet someone organically however, most of the activities and things I'm involved in do not take place around any women. Alana, you are beautiful on so may levels and what makes you that way is your wisdom and understanding of the various challenges faced by older men these days considering how much time they have left and the paranoia around making the right relationship choices based on that alone. the thing is you never too old to learn and discover that you have game and that every man has game which is unique to the individual. we all have the intuition to know what is good for us in terms of partner choices, but the short term gratification will always be a tempting offer with little or no benefit in the long run considering, as I"ve mentioned before the time factor. SO a wholistic approach as you've mentioned is the sweet spot.
