Really big fan of the show! None of my friends are into pinball...I mention pinball they just stare at me and start to talk about call of duty, fortnite or some other s#@t...But I have you guys and it is always fun to watch you talk about pinball. Great show as usual!!
Funhouse, Addams family, Theater of magic, Midevil madness, Creature from the black lagoon, Monster bash, Attack from mars and twilight zone all got snubbed????????? What were they thinking?
I bet everyone has at least one odd ball game in their list that they just love.. for me its Tales from the Crypt.. just love the whole package although the Cryptkeeper laugh can get old after a while!
Curious about what keeps No Good Gofers of most top lists, and even mainlined games in collections. It arguably has the best shot in pinball (Hole in One), unique shots like the gofers, ball locks, golf cart, etc. The only pin where the slam ramp shot will be different every time. Its a fast, slick, late era Williams and the sister machine to Mideval Madness. Yes coding is less than perfect, but there is large demand for this pin, and it just doesnt get enough love from the "pinball gods" like you guys. Still love your show
Guys, its really time to update this list, many new games since this video, would be great with an update, we need to see there JP is on Mr. Bones list😁
If you ever run out of ideas for lists, you can do 'Most popular actor in pinball'. Like Schwarzenegger(T2, Last Action Hero,..), Gary Oldman(Dracula), etc.
You guys should check out the Ann Arbor Pinball Show at Vintage Flipper World in early May 2019. Around 400 really well maintained machines and only open to the public for two weekends a year. its a great collection with tons of random games you never get to see. I think it was $40 a day for free play machines. I got to play Radical! there last year for the first time, I agree, really fun game. I love the little loopy ramp down low on the left.
Damn, another great show, I have to order a t-shirt now. :) top 10: 1. Tron 2. Shadow 3. Metallica 4. CCC 5. Iron Man 6. Dialed In 7. Rbion 8. Addams Family 9. Johnny Mnemonic 10. Fishtales
I vote for Zach’s list! Although TWD Prem should have been #1 on both of your lists! You could eat Xmas dinner at Ritchie’s and he wouldn’t remember.... funny shit! SDTM is my favorite RUclips channel. Keep it up guys
Here is my personal top 25 - based on the machines that I have enjoyed playing over the years (note this list is from 2019): #25 Hercules (Atari, 1979) #24 Phantom of the Opera (Data East, 1990) #23 Hook (Data East, 1992) #22 The X-Files (Sega, 1997) #21 Creature From the Black Lagoon (Bally, 1992) #20 Apollo 13 (Sega, 1995) #19 Star Trek (Data East, 1991) #18 Twilight Zone (Bally, 1993) #17 Sorcerer (Williams, 1985) #16 Tron: Legacy (Stern, 2011) #15 Black Hole (Gottlieb, 1981) #14 Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Williams, 1993) #13 Wizard of Oz (Jersey Jack, 2013) #12 FunHouse (Williams, 1990) #11 The Addams Family (Bally, 1992) #10 Black Knight (Williams, 1980) #9 Surf ‘n Safari (Gottlieb, 1991) #8 Fire! (Williams, 1987) #7 Lord of the Rings (Stern, 2003) #6 Indiana Jones (Williams, 1993) #5 Haunted House (Gottlieb, 1982) #4 Revenge From Mars (Bally, 1999) #3 Pin-Bot (Williams, 1986) #2 Space Shuttle (Williams, 1984) #1 Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Wlliams, 1991)
I've never played pinball. Seriously I haven't. That being said, from a purely (cool looking pinball machine point of view) my favorites are: Houdini Wizard of Oz Willy Wonka Any of the Star Wars Any of the Star Treks Batman 66 Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Black Knight cuz it sounds cool Pinbot, Jackbot, the bots cuz they sound cool too. I'd love to hear your take on the coolest sounding pinballs.
Glad to see another great top 10 show. Team Zach on this one. Although idk how y’all both bad Star Wars in your top 10. Game is poop. 10. Spider-Man Vault 09. LotR 08. Dialed In 07. Ghostbusters LE 06. The Shadow 05. MB/MM/AFM (same game) 04. Whirlwind 03. Indiana Jones 02. JJ Pirates (cannot stop playing) 01. TWD Honorable mentions: Congo/Tron, Theater of Magic, AC/DC, GotG (better version of Metallica), Fish Tales, World Cup Soccer, Johnny Mnemonic, Star Trek, STTNG...any of these could be in my top 10 on a given day.
Straight Down The Middle: a pinball show Congrats on being Stern seller, hope you now have the power to influence Stern (push them) to remake TWD with updated art on the playfield, as you two are often talking about😁👍🏻
10. Xenon -- revolutionary in its time. This came out just as video killed the radio star. Arcades went from dingy slightly-creepy pinball places to video arcades with Pacman and girls! Xenon looked amazing in a dark arcade. Sound -- ok, I downloaded the sound files. The way the lights were syncro'd was also compelling. Game changing machine. 9. Space Station -- best flow game. Played a thousand hours of this with my girlfriend. A roll of quarters on a Friday night playing this, followed by a meal at the Greek restaurant across the street -- perfect way to unwind. 8. Black Knight -- I knew many people who owned only one game and this was the game. Approachable, generous (the bonus ball at the end) and easy to lock a lot and get a lot of multiballs. But...hard to crush the game. 7. Flash Gordon -- so tough, one of the first games with great call outs. I always loved Bally games and this was one of their peak games. Such a tough game that feels so good when you beat it but victory is very fleeting and you wanted to dive back in again right away. 6. Spin Out -- how many games do you know where you can win 9 replays in one game? It had a spinner with two slots where you could hit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7. Each shot to it scored two of the numbers. Other shots spun the spinner randomly. If you made any 4 in a row, you won a game. But the shot was a sewer shot half the time. Still, exciting in itself. But if you made 5 in a row, you won two games. 6 in a row = 3 games. All 7 = 4 games. Then you could win 3 games on points. So we are up to 7 games. There were four top rollover targets. Complete them (ABCD) and then the middle 5th rollover and you got a special. That's 8 games. And you could match -- 9. The thing is that it was right around this time that they started limiting how many games you could win. Used to be, what, a hundred? Then some (like Captain Fantastic) brought it down to 25. Well Spin Out's limit (like most of the new Gottliebs) was 10. Yet you could max out your credits in one game (since you got 2 games for a quarter). I loved this game so much I bought it (35 years ago). Then I gave it away. Hope the next person enjoyed it half as much as I did. 5. Jurassic Park -- great toys (T-Rex might be a top three toy), back glass animations were very good for their time, six ball Mball was total chaos and then there was that Smart Missile to be used whenever you wanted. Ground breaking game. 4. Stern Star Trek -- has it all, chock full of history, modern, flow game, great mode game, etc. To me this is the modern sweet spot of pinball. The Black Knight or ST:TNG of 2018. 3. Demolition Man -- such a tough game, so satisfying to win on. The voices are top three. Super Jackpot animation is top (for me). Demolition Time melting the screen is so cool. I drove many a mile just to play this game. Ohhh yeah! 1. ST:TNG -- greatest theme ever, one of the early 6 ball multiballs, very difficult to win even one game on, so very satisfying to win big on. I became a fan of the TV show thanks to this game. 1. Game Of Thrones -- theme is perfect, flow is great. Multipliers (of two kinds) throughout the game, that you can get the most out of them. Call outs are perfect. The way the shot arrows are lit (so you can learn as you play) is very nice. So many different aspects to the game -- 6 houses to choose from at the start (and each with different powers) -- so much to play for, and all of it tied to one of the most popular series in television history. Hodor. Noticeably absent from my list are rock band games, and zombie/monster/freak games. I've never seen the attraction of them. Lord of the Rings should be here but they missed the boat with this game -- the lost souls area wiped out 25% of the playfield, the ring shot was problematic, Jackpots were paltry. You rarely see this game blown up. Great first impression but then, ultimately, meh. Then there are the chaotic playfield games -- many of them rock band games like Aerosmith and Metallica, but also Walking Dead (ugliest play field ever) and even Ghostbusters. Sorry, I'm just not interested. I like flow. If I want chaos, I'll subject myself to a Star Wars movie. Honorable mention: Trio...I kid, I kid...(Hi Bowen)

awesome simpsons pinball party greg! we got a pinball party at main street amuesments and its like brand new the best pinball party i ever played and its set up so good i can play for an hour straight i like pinball party more than the new deadpool and i love that deadpool a little more than the new pirates. i hate hitting the button to pick up gold on pirates and for some reason its just not as fun to play as it looks for me anyway. dont get me wrong its a really fun game i like to play it but i thought it would be my fav after i played it and i was wrong it is in my top 5 but not num 1 by far deadpool is more fun for me

Greg My claim to fame is my brother was the Drummer in the night club in Barbwire. He said he got a hug from Pam as she likes Drummers
Spiderman stern movie origional, iron man stern movie origional, whitewater, medival madness, fishtales, circus voltaire, theater of magic, champions pub, creature from the black lagoon, world championship soccer.
Sorry you guys are having so much difficulty posting about the Beatles pinball machine. Why would their license holder license the rights to a pinball game...then block anyone from posting videos about it?
Cirqus Voltaire is easily in my top 10 too. Not to brag, but I have owned all of the great games from the 90s and also all of the recent (good) ones, so I can say that with confidence (:
@@SDTM Thanks for the reply! It is an awesome shot however, it slows the game way down and too many shots come back. That's pretty frustrating so I got to go with the Pro. I freaking love the depth of that game and it sure doesn't get enough love because most people don't take the time to learn the game and then harp on it.
Interesting lists guys. TWD is just so ugly it kinda ruins things a little for me. I'll have to do a top ten at some point. Cheers guys #IsOrinDayADick
Greg's choices are so odd..actually awfull lol. Leathal weapon above lord of the rings? also star wars infront of circus voltaire Zack? lol. But zack id pick your pin choices :)
Sorry to give you a thumbs down, but there is just way too much nonsense talk. My favorite all time Pinball Machine is, Bally 'Eight Ball Deluxe'. Use to play it for hours.
Thanks for the respectful response. I respect that and have now given you a thumbs up. I wasnt trying to be hateful with my first response. I like the reveiws, but 58+ minutes for a top 10 was a little much. I wish there were still arcades around, with pinball machines I might add. There are a few places that have video machines but no pinball. Yeah, pinball may be old school, but so am I. Keep up the good work
Steve Hansen yeah unfortunately anymore, caring for a pinball machine in an arcade is more work and less earnings than a more simple redemption game. Similar to the way society is heading

You fellas are truly pinheads. Thanks.
Frostbyte that we are haha thanks buddy
Greg's list is way more fun! Stargate (pin and movie) are great. Always love the new videos!
Alan Robertson thank you Alan!!!!!! That’s what pinball is about!!!FUN
@@SDTMExactly! don't need stupid gate keeping elitist in this.. Sega, Gottlieb, Data East etc.. have all made good pinball machines.

Travis Lancaster nice zach and I both like it as well! Has some pretty good shoots!

Snubbed Iron Maiden, perhaps the most refreshing layout in modern pinball.

Sorry you guys are having so much difficulty posting about the Beatles pinball machine. Why would their license holder license the rights to a pinball game...then block anyone from posting videos about it?
I will downovte your videos if you send me t-shirt:D
Stargate is amazing!! Great pick Greg! Circus Voltaire blows Zach, sorry. I just don't understand the appeal.
Jeff Jacobson I kind of agree!
(Greg)
Cirqus Voltaire is easily in my top 10 too. Not to brag, but I have owned all of the great games from the 90s and also all of the recent (good) ones, so I can say that with confidence (:
SW Pro > SW LE!
Spywell yeah if you dislike one of the best shots in pinball :) (zach)
@@SDTM Thanks for the reply!
It is an awesome shot however, it slows the game way down and too many shots come back. That's pretty frustrating so I got to go with the Pro. I freaking love the depth of that game and it sure doesn't get enough love because most people don't take the time to learn the game and then harp on it.
Interesting lists guys. TWD is just so ugly it kinda ruins things a little for me. I'll have to do a top ten at some point. Cheers guys #IsOrinDayADick
8-bit Andy interested to see your list Andy. (Zach)
Steve Hansen hey at least you’re honest with your thumbs down I can respect that and EBD is very much a classic good choice.
I agree.
Downvote till I get a t-shirt!!
ftc1233 better get that order in!!!! (Greg) they are almost sold out!!!!
Hey guys, where do you think this places on the 'objectifying-women' scale? Picture: isocube.dk/space2.jpg

Normally i like these guys but seriously... The AD$ actually KILL revenue.
And then the AD$ again at #1... I almost regretted the downvote then that happened and reminded me how much I hate it.
