The Data East Tales from the Crypt is awesome. People whine that it’s too hard and while IT IS a particularly hard pin, it’s gorgeous and classic to that era.
If it's in proper condition, it's great! I played it when the top flipper would push the ball into the drain and hated it. Once it was fixed, it was great!
#1 on my list is Sega Baywatch. It’s an unbelievable layout! Anyone that plays it agrees. The theme is what killed it. Don’t pass it up, play it before you hate it. 😁
Baywatch is extremely underrated, every fun game, good shots, good layout, fun mode, good music. I love the theme, nothing wrong with it, at least the theme is better than Ripley's believe it or not, I mean what kind of theme is that?😂
I loved Bad Cats growing up. I liked the simplicity. Used to have one in a Blues bar here in Baltimore and was a blast. Fish Tales and Funhouse were fun pins back then too.
Ripley's was not at my local arcade, but Monopoly and Roller Coaster Tycoon managed to suck up more than a few of my quarters. They were really good and what it was game play was simple enough for most seasoned players to get a few replays before they ran out of quarters. Ripley's was at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, so I popped in a couple of bucks, I didn't do too well.
I owned the x-files table for a couple of years, it's a personal favourite. Satisfying ramps, not too difficult, smashing that launch button for the tombs stretchy arm. And when you get to the final stage- Kill 'em all. Generally a fun representation (s01/s02) of the tv show.
Safecracker is pretty special. It feels like it could have started a new kind of ruleset for so many pins. But it also have quite a little fanbase, fun and great for new players, still challenging but maybe too random in the board game
Safecracker is my daughter's favorite pin! It's not my favorite simply because there are games I do like more, but I really do like Safecracker. It's a fun and interesting game that really isn't like anything else.

Lethal Weapon 3 :) yes, yes, yes! The second pinball I ever bought, brand new back in '92 and again 7 years ago. Simple, over the top fun just like the 90's. I'm with you on this Greg.
My grandfather’s building is immortalized in that movie and back glass. That was the former Orlando City Hall that was blown up for the movie and he was the architect of that building back in the day.
I would put Demo-Man on that list, too. It has great flow and action, and there’s a hell of a lot going on. Modes, multiballs, two different final modes. I agree with No Fear, I often consider selling mine and then I think: uhm... no, it shoots so well!
@@steelyfan7745 , I first played it when I was 13 years old, a brand new machine and I was absolutely stunned in terms of smoothness and flow - it made other machines of that era look pale. There was a guy that would always rack up high scores on various pinball games, and No Fear was the ONLY pinball game he could never beat my high score on in the time he was around this area. Popeye is an incredibly fun pinball game and I'm a bit shocked why it isn't more valuable then it is, there was one up for sale at a pinball convention in my area some years ago and they only wanted like $1300 for it which was very low for a dot matrix pin and even today they really don't go for that much still. Well done fellas! Definitely feel the same way about Stranger Things and Radical! Gottlieb's Barb Wire was an atrocious theme but pretty underrated as well in my opinion.
I own a Lethal Weapon 3 and yes it is a simple tough pin to play. trying to get enough points to beat the high score is tough. I have owned a lot of pins, and this one makes me mad every time I play it.

I didn´t think too much of it, but it was the one I never replaced. The backglass art was terrible, but the gameplay was very exiting. Awesome soundtrack, nostalgia, and funny dot matrix action. Bro, I think the hook machine is a classic, im not sure what reception is on that one though. I know it had less skill shots up top, but the ramp loop shot was killer and the themes were awesome. Time to fly.
Grew up with No Fear in my basement. I want another one because its just a fun and easy ruleset but is constantly rewarding.
Well done fellas! Definitely feel the same way about Stranger Things and Radical! Gottlieb's Barb Wire was an atrocious theme but pretty underrated as well in my opinion.
I owned a HUO X Files for 13 years loved it!
I've had this HUO X-Files for 5 years and I still love it too!
I am really trying to sell it tho...I just need something new
@@steelyfan7745 l traded mine for a ST LE.
@@t.c.bowling1934 star trek??? can you introduce me to these people! 🤣
@@steelyfan7745 Stranger Things
Shows awesomeness 👏
Hell yeah thanks bud
Lethal Weapon 3 is a great game and I completely forgot about it before watching this.
Interesting list. At first I thought...oh no...they're just picking new pins....you surprised me. Very nice pics near the top.
always great to hear you guys , and yes i like stranger things , agree
No Fear is awesome. Lifetime to master.
I played Meteor... it is so damn good!
I own a Lethal Weapon 3 and yes it is a simple tough pin to play. trying to get enough points to beat the high score is tough. I have owned a lot of pins, and this one makes me mad every time I play it.
Reminds me of Hurricane. SDTM always on that one.
I Love the POPEYE Pinball Machine, would LOVE to find one! i leased it last year and loved it!
Stranger Things /puke, Hate that machine with a passion, almost hate it as much as TMNT!
I got a stern godzilla. Just got 509M last night.
Guys, check your playlist for the top 10. Some random videos got in and I have no idea how.
100% agree on No Fear
OMG, I unpaused this video and it was at the end when you said "Go buy a pinball machine you owe it to yourself". I am so close!!!! I hope my wife won't flip out! I really want to start my own barcade to be honest....
Let’s make it happen! Flipnoutpinball.com
Last Action Hero > LW3 but Data East are pretty underrated
LAH is a good choice we agree
Totally agree!!! I love mine!!
What about The Bride Of Pin*Bot? What about F-14 Tomcat? How about Gottlieb's The Black Hole, Rock Encore and Williams's Black Knight? I'm disappointed.
How are you guys feeling about Houdini these days? I'm surprised it wasn't on this list.
Howabout Mustang and its epic ending?
I once got a Dr. Who. A decade ago, there were always 3 pins in my living, swapping them once in a while. The Stargate I was about to pick up broke, so I chose another one.)
I didn´t think too much of it, but it was the one I never replaced. The backglass art was terrible, but the gameplay was very exiting. Awesome soundtrack, nostalgia, and funny dot matrix action. No regrets.
I love Dr Who and I love Stargate, I never hear a thing about either but they sure are good tables.
I also think it's Lethal Weapon 3. All Data East machines are interesting and well made. I think Star Trek is also interesting, but there are few sites introducing it.
Yay, pinball Boxing Day video
I used to own a Lethal Weapon 3 about 15 years ago and I still kick myself today for getting rid of it
No Gottlieb? Doesn't seem like Gottlieb ever gets any love 🤣
Agree. I have a Gottlieb Wipeout and it gets played a ton out of my 10 machines. Easy to complete the various routines and the ski lift and slalom is cool!
@@richa9719 I have a Gottlieb Arena. Tons of replay value! Music is awesome on this machine!
Robo War, Surf N Safari, Diamond Lady, Class of 1812, Hot Shots, Bad Girls! Gottlieb, represent!
Cactus Jack's is just plain goofy fun too
@@jeffjacobson59 I love Cue Ball Wizard, but the scoring is horribly unbalanced unfortunately.
Right on the money, Jack*Bot is a player's game. Forgot to mention the "cheat" function, pretty unique and definitely a surprise when you spring it on someone on location.
The bowling alley had #1 and I loved it.
That’s wild the alley I grew up in had one too
Lol might be the same place. Ohio?
Zac H southern Indiana
@@SDTM awesome not too far away. They also had Bride of Pinbot. I’d love you get one someday but they seem to be hard to find these days.
Great video! Very entertaining. You guys mention pricing of games a few times; where are the best places to find pins for sale?
What are the parameters even? The bracket that Final Round did to goof on Stern's "March Madness" bracket were host-selected games and this one ending right now was listener submitted games, but they all had to be
Appreciate the feedback. Our goal is to always have fun
Blackout. Old school.
LW3. Mines never leaving.
Glad to see no fear on here, lethal weapon looks good too. 👍
LoL zach is literally responsible raising the prices of popeyes by $1k. But i agree its definitely underrated.
Absolutely LOVE my J*B!!! Its bolted to my floor.... NEVER leaving my house!!!!
I was with you all the way until you mentioned Jackbot. My first two pinball games were a Twilight Zone AND a Jackbot I bought on the same day in 1998. The Twilight Zone is still my favorite pin of all time and the Jackbot got sold off in less than a year. It got boring real fast and I never played it after the first three months. With all that I have to admit the game was sold to the first guy that I told I was selling it. Thanks for heads up on Wonka. I love me some Lawlor pinball.
I've got a Jungle princess machine that I've played when I was 5. RIP dad.
