The Muppet Show would be one of the greatest worlds under glass. Soo many different modes, areas, characters, and show skits. The art would be totally amazing!
Love your channel and all your pinball knowledge/insight! I understand your argument for Toy Story, even though I disagree. But how’d Super Mario and Back to the Future make the list when each of those IPs already have a pin? Still a great show as always gentlemen. Keep up the good work!
I think Beetlejuice would be a homerun. So much of it lends itself to a pinball game: Sand Worms as the habitrails, Beetlejuice comes in three, so a Beetlejuice Multiball that shouts "It's Showtime!" as it activates. You can just imagine it. Another one I think would be great would be National Treasure!
Bill & Ted- phone box scoop starts the modes, collect the characters inserts, napoleon’s water ramp, ziggy pig bonus for hitting the ice cream sundae spinner. 69 is the match for a replay 🎸
With Halloween season right around the corner; I'm surprised nobody has created a Vincent Price pinball machine. ...and, yes, a Beetlejuice machine would sell, sell, sell if done well.
Awesome guys. Thanks for all three of the latest vids! I’ll be pushing the go button on HP or BTTF with flipn out. Also would for Goonies, FiFtH eLEmENT 😮 , Die Hard
My dream theme would be Gremlins. Hopefully one day it will happen 🤞🏼 I’ve got so many ideas in my head of cool features that could be incorporated into that game.
The Matrix, The Fifth Element, Predator, Die Hard, Home Alone (1 and 2), Mission Impossible, The Goonies, a Nintendo themed machine like Super Mario or Mario Kart, and Halo (Xbox, not the bad TV show).
Love the content fellas! Top Gun over Matrix for me. THUNDERCATS! First Blood - Rambo Get Smart! …could do some really cool stuff. Trap doors, phone booth, cone of silence, shoe phone, the car, so many gadgets to create a world under glass.
Hey no worries, that's the fun of having your own personal dream themes. Hell, Greg and I would love to see a Duck Tales pinball machine, but we are not holding our breath. And Tremors absolutely would be damn cool.
Back to the future and Mario pinballs already exist no? Or am I wrong? My choices would be - Dragonball Z - It - Black Panther - Formula 1 racing - Dune - Mad Max - Donkey Kong - Batman Forever - James Bond Casino Royale Great video guys
I think Spooky will be making this next. On my latest video newletter that is posted on youtube from Spooky they used a short clip of Beetlejuice. I think that is an easter egg.
- An anime like Dragon Ball. It writes itselfs. Power up via loops, fights can be multiball or timed missions, "dragon balls" for extra balls or wizard mode , Super Saiyan for field multiplier,... - Formula 1 : I am a fan of Indianopolis 500 and i would like to see a modern pinball take on F1. - Doom: I always liked the lighting of the FX3 pinball and it would be great as a real physical pinball machine. - With the World Cup Football in North America in 2026, i am expecting/hoping on a new football themed pinball machine. - Cannonball Run - It's always sunny in philadelphia. So much content and creativity is possible here.
I think they could do Cheech and Chong, Freddy vs Jason, Justice League (gets you Superman, Batman, wonderwoman, green lantern, plus’s all of thier main villains.)
The video was great, but you should disclose which Top ten themes mentioned have been licensed and by which pinball manufacturer. That would be interesting. Thanks guys
Taylor swift in the UK is supposed to add 1.3 Billion Pounds into the British economy this summer. Her pin would be a massive seller. I could sell the kids floor seats to the upcoming Indianapolis show to fund it! (From Barclays research report)
Nice list. I was gonna revolt if #1 didn't make the cut, but there it is. Like magic. Oh, and I'll chime in amd say Doom would be a dope metal horror theme. The music!
Even before seeing the video : Mad Max Fury Road/Furiosa NEEDS to happen. As a designer for virtual pinballs I'm really thinking about it, but I already have way too much work on my current projects.
Big Trouble in Little China! Possible modes: Lords of Death street gang, Chang Sing vs Wing Kong, each of the Three Storms, Lopan wizard mode, secret mini wizard mode with that hairy sewer monster. Flying eye-guardian bash toy that pops up from the playfield? Egg Shen's Tour Bus multiball. And the call outs? Oh ho man that movie is LOADED with great one-liners. It's all in the reflexes!
You guys rock! Keep the videos coming! Also if they make a new LOTR I’ll buy it in a second and if Elwin makes Harry Potter I’d also buy that one as well!
My dream theme would be Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The Theme song, Monster Fights, Pick your Ranger, Megazord/Dragonzord toys and mechs. Might not be the biggest IP but I think it would be such a fun game to play ( if they can do TMNT a MMPR would work too )
If they make a Taylor Swift pinball, here's the plan: we resurrect Fiorello La Guardia, hand him a sledgehammer and tell him pinball is still illegal. He'll do the rest.
I want a HACKERS movie (1996) pin. It'd be a perfect theme to adapt. Main theme of thwarting the bad guy/preventing catastrophe, but all of the hacking competition between Dade/Kate. All of the fun campy lines. It could be *awesome*.
It’s never been done and couldn’t be done today but The Dukes of Hazzard. I’m surprised it wasn’t made in the ‘80s with all the toys, clothes and anything in between that was made. I can see a ball jumping like the General Lee and a multiball like a car chase… I never played it but even if it sucked, Back to the futur doesn’t fit in that list of ‘’ never been made’’. I would definitely like to see a new one though. Superman is my favorite super hero, I don’t understand why no one has made a new one to compete with Stern’s Marvel line of pinballs. Love your show, keep them coming.
I still think a Mega Man themed pinball would be awesome. Having robots be modes to begin with, if you complete a mode (beat a boss) you get its weapon you could use on other modes with middle button press. Then if you beat all modes you have your wily castle and battle wizard mode. For multiballs you can have Rush multiball, proto man mini multiball etc. I think it would work great!
Guys you are on a roll absolutely love it. You know and I know BEETLE JUICE AND GOONIES WILL BE ABSOLUTELY HUGE. Both are two of my dream themes and I’m waiting on SPOOKY to go ahead and say we’re doing Beetle Juice they have it. They have been throwing out hints lately it’s coming. You guys are fantastic.
**Top 10 Hottest Pinball Themes:** 1. **Harry Potter:** The video argues that Harry Potter is a no-brainer for pinball, citing its massive global popularity, appeal across age demographics, and the extensive source material that could be used for multiple pinball machines. 2. **Back to the Future:** This theme is praised for its nostalgic appeal, blend of sci-fi and fantasy, and the iconic characters and moments that would translate well to a pinball experience. 3. **Super Mario:** The video emphasizes the enduring popularity of Super Mario in the gaming world and its potential to attract both casual and hardcore pinball fans. 4. **Toy Story:** The video highlights the nostalgic value of Toy Story, the iconic characters and settings, and the potential for a multi-generational appeal. 5. **The Goonies:** This theme is praised for its blend of adventure, fantasy, and humor, as well as its enduring popularity among fans of classic films. 6. **The Matrix:** This theme is seen as a good fit for pinball due to its blend of sci-fi, action, and technology, and its potential to appeal to a nerdy audience. 7. **Top Gun:** This theme is considered a strong contender due to its nostalgic appeal, action-packed nature, and potential to resonate with a male-dominated pinball demographic. 8. **Pokemon:** This theme is considered a global powerhouse with a wide range of appeal, potentially bridging the gap between Western and Eastern pinball markets. 9. **Beetlejuice:** The video argues that the quirky humor, visual style, and potential for a "world under glass" experience make Beetlejuice a perfect fit for pinball. 10. **Taylor Swift:** This theme is considered a risky but potentially lucrative choice, appealing to a younger, female demographic and potentially expanding the pinball market. **Other Notable Themes Mentioned:** * The Legend of Zelda * Superman * Die Hard * Mickey Mouse * Rocky * Breaking Bad * Fight Club * National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation * Nirvana * Finding Nemo * Karate Kid * The Fifth Element * Aladdin * The Lion King * Monsters Inc * ET * Gremlins * The Lost Boys * Kill Bill * King Kong * Despicable Me * Beverly Hills Cop * Lord of the Rings * Reservoir Dogs * Caddyshack * Dumb and Dumber * Step Brothers * The Hangover * Groundhog Day
Back to The Future (it’s a no brainer, everybody wants this game) Michael Jackson Mad Max (Fury Road) Akira Batman The Animated Series Dragon Ball Z Nirvana (with an Unplugged mode where the playfield is only lit by led candles) Transformers The Animated series And my dream game: Evil Dead (1, 2 or 3 or a mix of all, anything would be awesome)
I feel like I've got a collection of the greatest themes ever to exist only in man's imagination. I wish I had the money, time, space, knowledge and patience to make one of them.
Okay, I agree with the Harry Potter should be made, Back to the Future and Mario arguably have been done. But here's one to think about: Cats. (The stage musical, not the movie!) Think about it, the music is already written, the story is already there as you progress through modes ( The different musical numbers.) The first half way wizard mode, (The Jellicle Ball) the later second half musical numbers (modes) leading up to the final Wizard Mode (The Heavnside Layer/ The Addressing of Cats with huge sweaping bass and the final chours could be huge.) I mean, there are other tables (The Who's Tommy, and to a lesser extent Data East's Phantom of the Opera) Assuming you have a powerful sound system built into the table the progression almost writes itself as you'd move through the game.
Whew, I wouldn’t want to bring that to market when there are so many better themes that would sell better, but as a theatre fan sure we’d love to see it
A Groundhog Day's theme has so much potential gameplay wise. Some themes I'd like to see: Legend of Zelda (Finally!), Halo, Castlevania, Team Fortress 2, Big Trouble in Little China.
1. Harry potter is correct at #1 2. Pokemon is the biggest IP you mentioned, both in sales and world popularity 3. Super Mario was made by Gottlieb 4. Toy Story doesn't count and if it does then Indiana Jones Destiny of Spear or more new Star Wars 5. DC Justice League should be in the top 5 on this list 6. Legend of Zelda would be dynamite as well, top ten for sure Would Beach Boys ever be worth a pin? Maybe too dated
Read through the comments and there are so many good IP's, many that would be on my list (5thE), but one I would like to toss in there that I didnt see, Tim Burton's 1996: Mars Attacks! A visual stunner, funny, great callouts and sounds, so many great and recognizable actors. The backglass and artwork alone would sell that pin.
I wish OEM's would announce what the next game is before the reveal so I can save $ accordingly to spend it frivolously on new pins when nothing I want is on the horizon
I would love to see Pokemon pinball machine. A pinball machine manufacturer could make 25 different versions of Pokemon pinball and all 25 versions would sell out. I could see Nintendo make a Pinball machine for each region [Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Hisui, Paldea]. I could see Nintendo make exclusive Pinball machines that are based on some of the most popular Pokemon such as Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Mewtwo and so on.
I almost had to unsub (joking). Evil Dead/Army of Darkness needs to be on there somewhere. You got a classic 1980's movie series, Bruce Campbell camp and an IP so rich in one liners for callouts that it rivels Pulp Fiction. That one is my dream theme. Personally, I'd replace Toy Story on your list since technically its already been done. I thought the rest of the list was great though.
agree with earlier posts….this top 10 list has at least 3 machines that have already had pinballs made! Thought it was supposed to be IPs that have never yet had a dedicated pin……using the same criteria we could go for another Rolling Stones machine (band still going after 60+ years) and the Venn diagram overlaps big time. Very surprised not to see Dune not make the top 10….hit movie that will soon be a trilogy and a true sci-fi classic!
Me and my girlfriend would love Harry Potter. As soon as that is announced I’m selling my KISS LE and getting whatever the highest edition is of Harry Potter.
Worth a video for your Top 10 IPs that deserve a remake. BTTF would have been top of mine and looking forward to that later this year. *Edit - See it the #2 here, but I thought they made one already? Same with Super Mario?
The Muppet Show would be one of the greatest worlds under glass. Soo many different modes, areas, characters, and show skits. The art would be totally amazing!
Love your channel and all your pinball knowledge/insight! I understand your argument for Toy Story, even though I disagree. But how’d Super Mario and Back to the Future make the list when each of those IPs already have a pin? Still a great show as always gentlemen. Keep up the good work!
I'm confused, there already was a Back to the Future table from data east/Sega back in 1990. Don't get me wrong, a new table would be wild..
Oooh National Treasure definitely a guilty pleasure we would get behind 100%
@@SDTM Someone has to steal the Declaration of Independence
Nice List!! Great Themes
Akira Katusuhiro Otomo
The Fifth Elementh
Futurama , Dragon Ball
Predator , Total Recall.....
The Fifth Element 😍
Beavis and butthead HAS to be made!!!!
Bill & Ted- phone box scoop starts the modes, collect the characters inserts, napoleon’s water ramp, ziggy pig bonus for hitting the ice cream sundae spinner. 69 is the match for a replay 🎸
I just heard them say 69 in my mind hahaha
I'm not a big fan of the franchise, but Five Nights at Freddy's could make for a good pinball machine and it has a dedicated fanbase
Nightmare before X-mas. I would be it yesterday. Great Music, great call outs. Jack Skeleton. WHAT IS THIS !! 👻💀☠️.
Buy
So damn great
With Halloween season right around the corner; I'm surprised nobody has created a Vincent Price pinball machine.
...and, yes, a Beetlejuice machine would sell, sell, sell if done well.
The one theme I think the pinball community needs is a Superman
Solid pick nostalgia
Atari has one. They SUCK to fix though- I can do it, but I wouldn't necessarily request that job...
G.I.Joe and Masters of the Universe, but my dream is Todd McFarlane SPAWN!
Awesome video
Thanks
I wish I could act like Blues Brothers hasn’t been made
Poor Blues Brothers :(
There should be machines for Blues Brothers, Caddyshack, and Airplane!; the movies that made 1980 the best vintage for comedy movies.
Awesome guys. Thanks for all three of the latest vids! I’ll be pushing the go button on HP or BTTF with flipn out. Also would for Goonies, FiFtH eLEmENT 😮 , Die Hard
Hell yeah!!!!
My dream theme would be Gremlins. Hopefully one day it will happen 🤞🏼
I’ve got so many ideas in my head of cool features that could be incorporated into that game.
Great video is always guys and glad to have so many videos recently. Great call on Toy Story as well!
Sonic The Hedgehog, Inside Out, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Dennis The Menace, The Mask, Mission Impossible.
Great ones. Sonic will be made :)
Pee Wee would be awesome and could have some great callouts like Large Marge!
Haunted Mansion (old school from the ride, not the movies) is an insta buy for me. Pink Floyd #2.
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, madmax, breaking bad, a new Dredd, the southern river band, the wire. The themes I wish for.
Bat Out of Hell / Meat Loaf would be an amazing machine. Meat Loaf Multiball!!
The Matrix, The Fifth Element, Predator, Die Hard, Home Alone (1 and 2), Mission Impossible, The Goonies, a Nintendo themed machine like Super Mario or Mario Kart, and Halo (Xbox, not the bad TV show).
Yes, we talk about Home Alone personally as a favorite we would love to see made. Predator would be great for pinball.
It's quite fun that I worked in the projects for 2 of thoses IP for original tables on VPX.
Love the content fellas!
Top Gun over Matrix for me.
THUNDERCATS!
First Blood - Rambo
Get Smart! …could do some really cool stuff. Trap doors, phone booth, cone of silence, shoe phone, the car, so many gadgets to create a world under glass.
We’ve heard Get Smart a couple of times now. Interesting choice.
Awesome episode! What about a top ten pins to remake list?
How’d I miss this video 😢? Late to the party like Zach with Greg’s mom
From Dusk Till Dawn and The Lost Boys. Great IP'S with kicking soundtracks to pull from as well. Help make it happen SDTM! 🦇
Goonies pin I would be all in , same for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Also Predator would be great too see.
Hell yes! Keep going guys! 💪
Hell yeah
Most of the themes I’d want are for things almost no one else would want or even know about but I’m surprised a tremors pinball was never made
Hey no worries, that's the fun of having your own personal dream themes. Hell, Greg and I would love to see a Duck Tales pinball machine, but we are not holding our breath. And Tremors absolutely would be damn cool.
Put me down for the tremors wish list!
I was thinking the same thing: nobody else wants a Tom Waits or a Midnight Madness pinball machine.
Back to the future and Mario pinballs already exist no? Or am I wrong?
My choices would be
- Dragonball Z
- It
- Black Panther
- Formula 1 racing
- Dune
- Mad Max
- Donkey Kong
- Batman Forever
- James Bond Casino Royale

Mad Max would be interesting

- Cannonball Run
- It's always sunny in philadelphia. So much content and creativity is possible here.
I like the F1 idea.
Avatar the last air bender would be amazing. The elements would cross over well into pinball and it still has a big following and the new live action.
*Misfits - Beware*
*Misfits - Legacy of Brutality - Premium*
*Misfits - Walk Among Us - LE*
Run Dmc/ beastie boys, the world needs a hip hop pin, to even out all the rock
It would be subject to Sabotage.
Agree. Not my first choice of hip hop but beastie would do good
I think they could do Cheech and Chong, Freddy vs Jason, Justice League (gets you Superman, Batman, wonderwoman, green lantern, plus’s all of thier main villains.)
There is a Cheech and Chong pinball
Someone on the EJ forum mentioned PRINCE. That would be a great one as well.
The spice must flow..
Ride that worm
Van Halen
I'm biased, but I totally agree with Harry Potter 😁
:) We love your work. We are ready to flip it

My Top 3 in no particular order:
Gremlins (1&2)
Power Rangers (Green Ranger to White Ranger arc)
Mars Attacks
The naked gun trilogy
I don't think either are strong enough
A Karate Kid/Cobra Kai or a Die Hard machine would have me sold!!! I'd be stoked for these machines to be created

Taylor Swift is the perfect "My wife said no more Pinball Machines in the house... but..." theme
Exactly
My wife says the same thing but I doubt even if the theme was TS, she would play it more than a handful of times.
My dream theme would be Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The Theme song, Monster Fights, Pick your Ranger, Megazord/Dragonzord toys and mechs. Might not be the biggest IP but I think it would be such a fun game to play ( if they can do TMNT a MMPR would work too )
That’s pretty good indeed.
Ay yie yie yie yie
Solid Picks.....as always.

rocky horror picture show
I keep saying this. Music, storyline, and a little horror. It's not much of a stretch from Elvira for the market it would sell to.
3 stooges - Pinball slaps
The moment a modern Mario is made I’ll buy the top tier from flip n out. I’d probably get Pokémon too if it was the original journey.
Deal! Damn it would be so great.
If they make a Taylor Swift pinball, here's the plan: we resurrect Fiorello La Guardia, hand him a sledgehammer and tell him pinball is still illegal. He'll do the rest.

I feel like I've got a collection of the greatest themes ever to exist only in man's imagination.
I wish I had the money, time, space, knowledge and patience to make one of them.
My dream Machine is Fifth Element. Harry Potter or Back to the Future would be insta-purchases.
Multi-Pass Multi-Ball
Mythbusters would be sweet. A goal would be to gather enough dynamite to fill the concrete truck, or something to do with buster.
Dragonball Z, Sonic could be great options. Also huge in Europe/Asia and new movies/series and games coming soon.
The LOST BOYS would be dope!
Okay, I agree with the Harry Potter should be made, Back to the Future and Mario arguably have been done. But here's one to think about:

Yes they did, they feature pipes, castles, turtles, etc. A modern version would be great with a nice video mode.
A Fletch or Fletch lives pin would be a no brainer seller across the world :)
Maybe it's me being selfish, but I would love to see a Dragon Ball pinball. Wishful thinking. Great video, guys.

TOY STORY HASN'T BEEN DONE!!!! :) hahaha Evil Dead (1&2) is gold. Army Of Darkness has a ton of fans too, but not Greg and I.
agree with earlier posts….this top 10 list has at least 3 machines that have already had pinballs made!
Sesame Street Classic. The right mix of nostalgia and appeal to a new generation, with endless scope for modes and ideas.
I would love that (Zach)
Fletch! Great Harold F. music, same with Beverly Hills Cop. Great 80s movies.
The Big 4 "Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, & Anthrax" battling it out in a pinball machine? Take my $$ 🤑
PEEWEE - Big Adventure OR Playhouse is a no brainer!
I'm 27 and Pokemon would be a day 1 LE order for me. Breaking Bad as well.
Mmmmmm Breaking Bad would be Day 1 buy for us too
G.I. Joe a real American hero ooh 🎶
Good call there
Man what I wouldn't do the play the "Shitter's Full" multiball mode LMAO...classic
Hahaha
Luv it! Keep em coming my dudes!
Worth a video for your Top 10 IPs that deserve a remake. BTTF would have been top of mine and looking forward to that later this year.
*Edit - See it the #2 here, but I thought they made one already? Same with Super Mario?
Great list. BTTF, Mario, HP would all be great. A Lego pin would do well.
Ooooh Lego absolutely
You can buy a Super Mario pinball machines right now. It came out decades ago.
Since you guys did a top ten ip you should do top ten non ip. That would be hard but would save manufacturers $$.
Christine.... the score is an odometer and it rolls backwards...
