I have just been there. You can take bus from rishikesh (Rishikesh to Badrinath). Bus fair is 600-700. Govindghat is 30km before the Badrinath. Stay in Badrinath either in Hotel or Gurudwara. Hotel price is 2000-2500 for 2 people. Than next morning take a sharing taxi from Govindghat to Pulna ganv. Taxi fare is 50rs per person. Then start track from Pulna to Ghanghariya which will be 10 km tracking. The stay in Ghanghariya, you can stay in hotel or Gurudwara. Hotel will take 2500 for 2 people. Food is very expensive because of hill area. Then next morning start tracking for Valley of flowers at 7:00 AM. Take the ticket 200 per person. Go as far as you can till 1:30 PM then return back. In the Valley there is not food stall so take your food with you. In the Valley you will witness waterfall, ice, snow, clouds, different plants and flowers, rivers, mountains, rain and what not. Its the true heaven on the earth.
Is it safe to trek in second of Aug ? I am planning to drive on my own frm Delhi to rishikesh n thn to valley flowers..pls advice if Aug month is safe fr trekking
@@lk4705 The only risk is landslide. In August month you may see heavy rains in hill area. Otherwise August is the best time to visit Valley. You can see weather forecast and then plan your trip. Best of luck and enjoy your trip bro👍
If i go driving my car, do you know where i can park my car last to start the trek and will there be local shops to provide trekking shoes or sticks around on rent for safety?
@@alankarsingh5144 Yes you can go by your car and you can park at Govindghat or Pulna village, there are many parking stations available and from there only you will start trekking. Don't carry too much weight while trekking. Tracking sticks are easily available in 10 to 20 rupees in Pulna village. For tracking shoes I am not aware of. But you can rent winter jackets in Ghanghariya in 200 rupees for one day.
