Dhanaulti Uttarakhand - A Beautiful Hill Station Near Rishikesh, It was a one day Trip to Dhanaulti Via Kanatal.
Dhanaulti is a hill station situated in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range located 115 km from New Tehri, the district headquarter, 60 km from the hill station of Mussoorie. Dhanaulti is a tehsil in Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, India.
Idyllically situated on the Mussoorie-Chamba road, the hill station of Dhanaulti is a perfect place for planning a weekend getaway.
Dhanaulti is located in the proximity of the popular hill stations of Uttarakhand such as Mussoorie, Tehri, Kanatal, and Chamba. This hilly town is enveloped by the velvety rhododendrons, deodar, and tall oak forests. Since the hill station heavy snowfall during winters, many tourists flock here in huge numbers.

It's really a beautiful place.i visited here long ago and was there for 3 nights.I do not know the present scenario.but I think it's great place for peace and nature lovers.Others can get bore.

Kanatal is more peaceful and non crowded place. Must go place for nature lover.. and kanatal is the most nearest place wherein can easily find snow between Dec to Feb.. it's hardly 5hours from noida/delhi.

I was recently in Rishikesh on 11th & 12th Aug. Had I known about Dhanaulti, I would have preferred going there. We had gone to Nilkanth Mahadev temple, 20 kms away from Rishikesh. We were disappointed with the huge crowd over there. Also, the place was dirty due to so many pilgrims. But Rishikesh was good. We were lucky to avoid tourist crowd before 12th.

Dhanaulti is very beautiful place, small village, potato 🥔 farms, walking trails, etc..
I have visited this place 8 years back and stayed in the same Forest Bamboo Huts. Their food is also awesome. Must visit place to give a break from ur hassle life.

Thanks for giving such a beautiful video. The scenic beauty of Dhanaulti is really awesome. We went there a few years back from Missouri e for a day trip. Took a lot of beautiful photos on the way and visited the Eco Park. The information about the Eco Huts will be really helpful if we plan to visit again for staying there for a few days.
