I taped a penny over the whole to put the white button. Thanks for the video - I woke up to a dead battery two days in a row and this saved me a mechanic visit!
Thanks for helping me diagnose the problem and also providing an easy temporary fix on my 2001 Honda Odyssey. I found the same blue broken plastic piece, on the floor, under my brake pedal. I have plenty of those round plastic fastener clips laying around so, I had the temporary part. I used Shoe Glue to make it secure. I'll go to the Honda Dealership Parts Counter tomorrow to order the replacement plastic piece. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! I had this exact same issue with my 2003 Honda Odyssey yesterday. I disconnected the battery and was looking for solutions online. Your video is the first one I saw on RUclips. Sure enough, I saw the small broken blue pieces on the floor mat. Your temporary fix helped to resolve the issue for it. The only thing for me is the cover plug did not work because it was too large to fit into the hole that held the previous stopper. Not sure why. I don't think that was ever changed so maybe it was a different larger size. Anyway, I put a zip tie around the hole and that fixed the issue.
Bro thank you same exact what happened to me. I RUclipsd and got you brother thanks. It worked too. What part of Oahu do you live?🤣 Town side I see. I live on the eastside. Aloha 🤙
