None of the tree stumps, not even the small ones, have ever respawned for me after I removed them the first time. I thought they would have. I hope it's not just my game!

I just commented the same thing, and then I saw your comment! Oops, yes neither have mine you most definitely are not alone in that! Small nor large, neither respawn!
That's good and bad at the same time, I guess more good so we don't have to clear them up constantly, after beating all quests need for Dark wood goes down significantly

No one talked about it but there is another way to get hardwood! Place only fir trees in the Forest of Valor and you will mostly get hardwood in the biome. I hope it helps everyone who is struggling!
I can confirm, once you break the large Mushroom log stumps in the Forest of Valor they Do Not respawn! None of mine have respawn at all, not even the small ones.

Kristoffs stall sells wood too he should eventually sell dark wood,dry wood and hardwood at some point too

The only ones that seem to respawn are the rocks, Dazzle Beach green seaweed rocks and the mushroom toadstalls.
Dazzle beach is actually storm debris plus all those most likely respawn because you get stuff out of the daily. The storm debris gives you sand daily,the rocks give you stones and other stuff if it’s the rocks on the walls the mushroom toadstalls give you mushrooms. There’s no need for the stumps to respawn since you can eventually get wood from Kristoffs Stall. Since he switches out the items daily. And the things you named off are easy to get rid of daily. Espeically now that our water can is enchanted,we have a stronger pic axe,and the rocks mainly give us stone-Gems.

I just pick up wood whenever I see it and I have more softwood and hardwood than I can ever use. I need Dark Wood and the spawn rates on that suck, they needed to make ONLY darkwood spawn in the Forgotten Land biome since we have every other biome to collect every other wood type. It legit takes me hours to build 2-3 pieces of darkwood fence, which costs 5 pieces of dark wood per fence section, and when you're getting MAYBE 5/hr....it's going to take me weeks to build an fence line >.> Love your videos btw!
Kristoff also sells wood he should eventually sell dark wood,hardwood,and dry wood at some point as well.
^^the game Never says we don’t have to just wait for Kristoff to upgrade his stall past the stuff he currently sells later on in the game since the game isn’t fully done yet and Kristoff does switch out what he sells on his stall daily. And there are more game updates coming in like 2023 one day we might not need to pick up the woods off the ground when we could just eventually buy it from kristoffs stall since kristoff is suppose to have everything we need maybe he eventually starts selling dark wood,hardwood,dry wood and not just softwood he switches out stuff daily for good reasons

It sucks now that you can't purchase extra gazebo's or the DJ booths from Sgrooge after crafting them. After the Scar update you have to grind for pale wood for these and iron ore to craft other items one by one along with craftable items in general.
Also I haven’t seen my stumps big or small respawn but then again who truly knows

I found out if you remove all the trees and plant 4 of the Big plaza trees you can get 20 hardwood in a biome.
None of the stumps have ever respawned for me. Ever.
I would use furniture mode, except maybe in biomes that i Don't care about. Also you said you had 4 trees in the Halloween biome then they are the red ones?
Yeah, kind of tree doesn't matter, just the biome
@@mrStarInSky plus the game isn’t done yet so maybe Kristoff eventually sells dark wood,hardwood and dry wood after a certain point in the game there are more updates coming in like 2023. And Kristoff is suppose to have everything we need since he switches stuff out daily for good reasons. Plus in a lot of games with stalls to sell too you have to keep buying stuff from that stall in order for it to upgrade after a certain point the creators never said we wouldn’t have to wait for kristoffs stall to get the other kinds of wood at kristoffs stall. The game isn’t fully out yet so it’s not fully done one day we might not need as many trees when we can just go to kristoffs stall and buy the woods from him 24/7. He just most likely sells softwood for now but I wouldn’t say softwood is the only thing he sells later on the down road for wood. Since we don’t have to get seaweed to make fiber anymore since we can just buy fiber from kristoffs stall 24/7 when we need it. The other woods could get added onto his stall later on down the road for all we know espeically after the game is all done. It’s a lot like with the Cooking recipes some cooking recipes aren’t done yet doesn’t mean they don’t get added onto the cooking recipes lists later on down the road in the game. So it could be the same with the wood for right now we are stuck buying softwood doesn’t mean that dark wood,hardwood and dry wood don’t get added into kristoffs stall later on down the road in the game
We just might have to wait longer for him to get dark wood,hardwood and dry wood since he switches stuff out and he is suppose to have everything we need
I made the mistake and removed majority of the trees cos they was getting in my way
@MrStarInSky, please pin a message for us if someone can confirm that those large wood piles respawn. Love that they have hard wood. I'm at the point, though, that I'd love to be able to recolour the grass in the Forgotten Lands because dark wood hides too well in the grass there. 🙁
+Player Daniels:Maybe we can do more to the forgotten lands later on it might not look that dark up there once it’s fully done The game itself isn’t done yet so maybe they give us the option to recolor the grass or maybe Kristoff eventually sells dark wood,hardwood and dry wood along with softwood at his stall and we just have to wait since people are getting rid of certain trees up in certain areas to begin with Kristoff is suppose to have every thing we need. We won’t need to always be picking up wood off the ground when kristoffs stall sells it. So maybe there’s a future upgrade we don’t know about yet for kristoffs stall in the future. Since Kristoff switches stuff out of his stall daily. We might not need trees up in the forgotten lands one day for all we know.
@@Megz1794 perhaps. 😊In the meantime, reducing the number of trees really helped since the dark wood is bunched in with the other woods and easier to pick up now. Wonderful suggestion, @MrStarInSky.
@@Player_D Iam just guessing dark wood,hardwood and dry wood become a lot easier to find later on in the game without having as many trees around like for example how we don’t always have to go around picking up softwood since we can just buy it from Kristoffs stall whenever we want
