I'd also suggest to do the specific critter dreamlight duties as soon as they pop up, and to leave the "feed a critter" to go along with it, if you plan on farming A LOT of dreamlight. Once you've fed all of the specific critters through the tasks, I've found they don't pop up as much, if at all. So it can help prevent getting stuck on the duties at times with ones you literally cannot do until the next day/after midnight.
Yeah, that's definitely true. It's really annoying when you see "Feed a squirell," and they've both already been fed. 😅 It's disappointing that it ONLY counts as the duty if it's your first time feeding them that day. 🙃

I kind of did this already - stacking the similar duties together as I can, etc. - but your idea of setting up an area where most things you need are close by really got my brains going this morning. And then I took the whole FREAKING morning getting it all set up! LOL It meant I had to re-arrange my linked storage boxes from what I had been doing, and then that got me into moving all my storage out of my entry room in my home and into a side room, because hey, Christmas is coming and I needed a nice Christmas-sy entry! - and then that meant decorating that room, and then I remembered I was setting up my meadow for this whole quick-Dreamlight-farming idea, so I got back to that, and then I decided to move out of the castle in the Forest as my main home and back into a the original cottage (but in blue) and that meant setting my home back up in the plaza... and some decorating... and then I added the Christmas tree and lights to the plaza... I mean, DUDE! Your one idea got me going and I just couldn't stop! However, I'm now better set up in the Meadow to knock out Dreamlight duties, except I can't do that now because I have to clean the house and prep for the family coming over for dinner tonight! Haaa! Anyway, enjoyed this as always, thanks for the great idea!

I like the way you set yours up. I put a crafting station and cook station in each biome soon as I unlock it. I am going to be travelling all over anyway with fishing, mining, and herbs. I also have a large dump chest next to each Well Portal for selling to Goofy's stall. I did put all the trees and bushes in Peaceful Meadow except for the coconut and banana trees. I kept them on the beach. They look wrong in Peaceful Meadow. And I have a garden set up in each zone, divided into 3 rows with five plants each, since the duties seem to always be "5 plants". They sit next to the portal, stall, and craft/cook stations. I find it satisfies my Autism and ADHD. I bounce from zone to zone but stay a bit longer with other missions so my ADHD doesn't have enough time to get distracted while, at the same time keeping a pattern going for my Autism. And I am starting to be able to predict what duties will come each time I clear one.
Vanellope and I would like to point out that you said doody an awful lot in this video. 😂. But seriously I watched you build this yesterday and followed along and I LOVE IT. 🎉
That's a tough task! Mainly due to night thorn and dry flower memories. If you log on and it's raining you can't get any dry flower memories that day. Additionally, night thorn memory drop rates are pretty bad. I do have some little tips and tricks that could help make it slightly more efficient though! I'll share them soon!
@@Probably_Senpai That's be awesome! I was just wondering if there's any data like is it easier to get certain task memories in certain biomes. Are the rates higher if I hang out with someone. And it looks like i'm able to get one memory a day for night thorns and after that it's all coins.

I need to farm more dreamlight as well! I've got my coins stacked up and have a good bit of materials so I need to do my duties because I only have 100k and I would feel like we are going to fly through dreamlight with the update!

I've only been grinding coins for update items and for buying a bunch of stuff for all of my extra houses because I need to start working on those as well. Sooo much to do! Claimeach Dreamlight as you complete it. Don’t wait until you have multiple completed because the new one that appears may be covered by an existing one. Example, one task says mine 4 rocks, and you complete one that says feed a critter. If you claim feed a critter, the next one to appear may say mine 4 rocks in meadow. That means if you mine the meadow 4 times you complete two tasks. If you wait to claim until you do both the original mine and critter, you’d need to mine again to complete the meadow. Overall, complete and claim one at a time.
I respectfully disagree. If you have 4 tasks that are going to take you a total of 30 seconds to complete, you're wasting time opening the menu and claiming every single time. Just take 30 seconds, complete the tasks, and then clear them all at once. What you're recommending will only be the case with specific duties (mostly related to fishing and mining) and in that case, what you're saying *is* a good practice. However, if you have "Sell 2 meals" "Plant 5 veggies" "pick 3 rasberries" and "pick 3 lemons" you could complete all 4 of those tasks in 20-30 seconds. Opening the menu after each one is not efficient. If you open the menu for every single duty, you're going to waste way more time than you saved stacking tasks. 😁 Cheers!
Great video ❤❤❤ I don’t know how you guys have gardens that don’t disappear after 24 hours. My gardens are always gone after 24 hours and it is so frustrating. I wish Gameloft would fix this! I would love to have a garden in my valley.
They disappear even when you have things planted? I know the dig spots despawn in 24 hours if you don't plant anything, but I've never heard of plants disappearing!
I tested this system last night and I was able to make three one hundred chests in one evening, after work. Over 15k Dreamlight in about 3 hrs. It could prob be faster if the switch wasn’t so slow

It's helpful! Though, you'll usually only see that specific duty once or twice a day! Saving night thorns for star paths is also very helpful!

It never hurts to have more. Golden storage chests are the main demand for me. With new resources coming to the game I know I'll need some!
