    Thanks for the great video. What a messy design/assembly. Wire every where.

      It's a small machine, if you want something more organized apparently ECM is good with that.

    Hey! Great review of the machine! I love it and use it everyday for multiple espressos! While I believe I have version 1 of the Elizabeth, I wanted to know what you guys would recommend for the PID settings. Out of the box, mine were set to P =20, I = 0, D=20 and I notice that it tends to flutter around the set temp more than stick to it. Have you guys experimented with changing the PID settings?

    How often does this machine need to be descaled if you use the included filter?

    Jim, Do you sell the yellow cup?

    Thanks a lot for detail movie
    Is it safe to put wet cups on cup warmer shelf while electricity is just below?

      Have you been electrocuted yet? jk I'd be worried about that too, It's probably not a good idea if it's dripping wet but probably not an issue if it's just a little from being rinsed or warmed with the hot water.

    Thanks for showing the interior, it is very helpful. What do you think of the this machine vs the Ranchilio Silvia Pro?

    Very cool look, I'd redo all the wiring. But then I'm OCD.

    I see that it has only plastic and rubber pipes meanwile the MaraX in the same priceline has more copper pipes and way less plastic ones. I think if you want an espressor machine for longer time, the MaraX is more durable/reliable. Yes it is a very clever and easy to use machine this Elizabeth but the inside is made for a few years usage max. If I am wrong please correct me. I am total helpless which one to chose for a long period: elizabeth or marax?

      Go for the MaraX. Innovative Hx machine and truly prosumer with an upgrade path (Using Bianca pressure profiling kit, wood knobs, Lelits brew pressure gauge applied to the e61 group (dynamic pressure reader)).
      Also you can use on the e61 a brew temperature gauge to better learn about the optimum time to pull the espresso.
      You can use the MaraX in the unique "brew temperature priority mode" if you want reliable espresso temperature (3 temp ranges to choose from via switch)
      Or use it as a "regular" Hx through the "steam priority mode". Good espresso (via cooling flushes) and excellent frothing ability in this mode.

    I thought Magnesium is necessary for getting the best taste in the coffee? This is what I’ve read by BWT water filter folks. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks

    Ничего не изменилось. В чем изменения, ручка пара стала толще? И пластиковые тройники стали синего цвета :)

    Is it me or does this sound like a Rotary pump!? I thought the V2 had the older pump?

    • @1st-lineequipment
      @1st-lineequipment  3 года назад

      Yeah the older version was pretty quiet because of where the pump was positioned and mounted.

    The pump is very quiet.

    • @1st-lineequipment
      @1st-lineequipment  4 года назад +1

      Yes, during espresso extraction, it is quiet under pressure because it is hidden in the back of the lower front panel. It does become a little louder on initial fill up and when the steam boiler refills.

    I notice the way you address your viewers, in general... Not everyone watching is ignorant, LOL...Some may be experts, got that?
