HOW TO Helleborous CAKE/ 헬레보루스 플라워 케이크 만들기

  • Let's learn how to make Helleborous flower cake!
    Italian meringue buttercream
    Unsalted butter: 450g (100% fat)
    Syrup: Caster sugar 150g + Water 50g
    Egg white: 150g + Caster sugar: 30g
    Vanilla essence 1t (Optional)
    Tip info : I used only ONE decorating bag from the beginning to end.
    Wilton 103 & 104 for Helleborous petals
    Wilton 2 for flower seed part
    Wilton 4 for letters
    Coloring : I used Wilton gel colors.
    Red Red + Burgerndy + Golden yellow + brown
    Pink + brown
    Moss green + Glolden yellow
    Moss green + Black + Brown

      Before you put the cake on the site, try to freeze or chill it out enough, then it may be stable in the room temp for a while!!

      Buttercream cake should be kept under max. 23 degrees even at the party room. Then, it's ok~~~

      Yes, I used same cream both for icing and flowers~ You mean the portions of the buttercream recipe? It's written at the beginning of the video above! Butter 450g, Syrup (sugar 150, water 50), Egg white 150, sugar 30.

      Yes, I recommend to modify it thiner than original in order to make the flower petals thiner~ ☺️

      Normally I use rather Italian meringue buttercream than Swiss meringue, which is the best cream for three dimensional flower cakes..

    Hi dear, doesn't the flower in the side falls off when the cake is about room temp? I've had these issues of flowers fell off once i piped them on the side. As the buttercream went like condensation I'm so frustrated 😭

      If the cake temp (also room temp) doesn’t go down under 22-23 degrees, it stay attached safely. Yes!!! Also it should not shocked suddenly~

      버터크림은 구울 수 없고, 냉동했다가 사용하고 있어요 ^^ 본체와 크림이 하나가 되어 높은 온도가 되거나 충격을 주지 않으면 잘 고정되어 있습니다.

    Very nice! But i just have to say...you can never make this on a tropical country. Those flowers will melt in seconds. huhu! :( Unless there is a technique for it. Kindly let me know. Tnx! :)

      Buttercream cake must to be made at around 21 degrees room temp, also need to be kept under 21 (max 23) even at the party room. 🙈
