    Just a tip that I like to use. Use saran wrap to help mold the cheese ball and the I stick it in the fridge for about 20 mins to harden and it holds it's shape better before adding the bacon. I do this for my pimento cheese ball

    I just made a bacon ranch cheese ball... my recipe is a bit different, but yours looks fab too! I love how yours is ball shaped! Mine looked more like a cheese wheel! Great video!

    That ranch mix has MSG which is instant migraine for me, I would use a recipe for a homemade ranch dip powder recipe that I just found online. Other than that it looks good.

      @@TheCarefreeKitchen There are 60 million Americans who get migraines and I have written to food manufactures and asked for them to remove it but they don’t. It is a neurotoxin chemical that tricks the brain making people want to eat more of any food that it’s in so it contributes to overeating but they only want to sell more product so they don’t care that it makes people fat. For me it’s like a poison, it’s in all canned soup, bottled salad dressings and any convenience foods and snacks. That’s why you eat one barbecue potato chip and you eat the whole bag. I really don’t think it adds flavor except a salty taste but they continue to add it. I can never take any shortcuts in cooking.

    Dry Ranch Dressing.... I make my own using Butter Milk powder and other dry ingredients in the long run it’s cheaper and taste better the. Store bought dry ranch, I can make up some ranch dip for French fries and those goodies, make up a ranch dip for chips and so on....

    I'm gonna do this my mother in law does it almost every year. She uses imitation bacon bits &, they give me terrible acid reflux. I'll use real bacon but I'll crush them way more than this.

    • @TheCarefreeKitchen

      It's totally worth the hassle of doing real homemade bacon bits.

    Sorry, but those big bacon pieces don't look attractive on the ball. I would rather see much smaller bits of bacon on the outside of the ball with some chopped nuts! The mix is fine inside, but that does not look appealing to me!

    • @TheCarefreeKitchen
      @TheCarefreeKitchen  3 года назад +2

      You can definitely roll it in nuts or just leave the topping off! Either way is great!

    Looks incredible! I purchased a cheeseball today at the store, and it tastes great, but I am concerned whether or not to cook it or eat it cold because some of the bacon is white... even the fat on the bacon should be brown after cooking, correct?

      If you bought it at the store, it's already prepared, ready to eat!
