I just made this but put the bread in the oven for a few minutes to toast based on a comment I read. Then added the pizza sauce, not too much (learned the hard way that too much is not good). Places pepperoni down the bread in pairs, copious amounts of shredded mozzarella then a strip of pepperoni as a garnish. First, I baked then set to broil, super pleased with the results. But her recipe is just perfect, I needed to freeze most of mine.

Great recipe. I'm cooking a rump roast today - Sunday in the crock. Glad I found your recipe. I added a can of cream of mushroom as you suggested. Since I didn't have gravy on hand and didn't know how to make it from scratch I did a crazy thing and added an envelope of chili mix. Before I placed the roast in the crock, I pierced it with a sharp knife all the way through, and then rubbed it down with herbs and olive oil to tenderize it beforehand. I've learned this is a great way to tenderize anything really thick. Sometimes, I'll place garlic cloves in the pierced parts and it adds a good flavor to the preparation as long as people like garlic otherwise, don't do it. Thank you for a great vid. Now I know about how long to let it cook - I was clueless on that part. Looks delish !
