I admire how skillful both Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman were, particularly considering that English wasn’t their first language. Ingrid couldn’t speak English at all when she’d arrived in Hollywood only 5 years earlier.
77 years later and Angela is still working in film!
R.I.P Angela Lansbury
@AMT 🤨
Angela Lansbury was 18 years old when she played the maid.
whew
Her first movie as well and she earned her first Oscar nomination.
@@ifeelpretty5790 Cool.
Her voice is unrecognizable
Edit before anyone replies to me: if it isn't dubbing, 🤞.
She was actually only 17 when she started filming -such an amazing career she’s had. She’s a legend!
Rest in Peace, Dame Lansbury.
Happy 95th Birthday Angela Lansbury
It's weird to see a baby-faced Angela Lansbury.
I love all you three great actors!!!😍😍😍
RIP Angela Lansbury
Probably no one remembers Joseph Cotten in this film, but I love her facial expressions, you can see her sanity slip away- in fact the term “gaslighting” came from this film.
The term "gaslighting" came from the play this film is based on. And this film isn't even the first adaptation.
And what does Joseph Cotten have to do with Paula's sanity slipping away?
Awww he undermines his wife.left and right
Ingrid's depth as an actress is rare.
Dressed as a maid and does the work like a queen 👸 oh, Fetus Fletcher 😍
My grandpas version of “Patrick Bateman”
Mrs Potts.
Jessica Fletcher.
I love teapots!
I wish I would’ve seen this version instead
I love angela lansbury but I disagree I loved the original
Both movies are classics
i hate the glance he tosses her after the maid leaves. it makes me crazy angry idk
Pretty messed up
This movie is a classic. It applies very well to many situations we have with people in our lives. Watch yourself, there are many scumbags like this out there.
She's 18 and it's from 1944. Different viewpoints and perspectives.
Intense
I remember this movie it was a great movie and she was hot.
It’s like he’s gaslighting her!!!!
Mrs. Potts is hot.
I read comments about another version if the film, which one is the other one ?
There is an earlier British version from 1940
1940.
ok film 😕
O_o
😎.....
Why did women back them always used aprons?
To keep their dresses clean. It was a lot of work then to wash clothes.
@@rosea2350
I bet It was annoying walkin in and out with a apron.
@@rosea2350 Same reason little girls wore pinafores over their clothes.
