For anybody who wants to know the infinity cheat…. You talk to the man in virdian who wants to teach you how to catch a Pokémon. Let him show you. Then fly to cinnabar island. Walk to the right side of the island and surf up and down the coastline of the island. Run away from the first Pokémon encounter. On the second Pokémon encounter you have to defeat it. Which can be hard since they can be level 100. The item you want to duplicate needs to be in the 6th space if I remember right. You can use the left small button to change the space. This takes me back to 96-98 talking about this stuff at the bus stops
First off, you forgot to mention missingno. That's the one that you're looking for and if you encounter it on the first try, then you'll need to just run away. There is no need for battling. There's also the fly/teleport trainer glitch to get pokemon too.
with that first fact... that's a chicken and egg problem. do you really think they planned 4 sequels in advance, or do you think they looked at older games and references in them to create pokemon? it's more than likely the latter
MissingNO item glitch is complicated on the technical level. Granted like building a PC, if you follow every step by step instruction, a 7 yr old can build one NP. Take away the step by step instruction and tell a 7 yr old "figure it out, its possible" and they'll be lost AF. Eg: how many 7 year olds spent days trying to move the Truck at the SS Anna?
The item duplication really didn't take long at all to set up. Put the item you want a practically near infinite amount of, in the sixth item slot of your inventory. Go to the old man in Veridian, talk to him, say no, watch him catch a Pokémon. Then go to Cinnabar, the exact location where is shown in number 17 how to catch Safari Pokémon. And just just go up and down until you see Missingno, or 'M. There could be a small variation of the name as well. It basically looks like a Tetris Block variant. Don't catch it, simply escape. And voila. Done. It's practically the same amount of steps as the ones you take to get Safari Pokémon to spawn in that little strip of land on Cinnabar island. So I really don't understand why it's being said that "It's a bit too long to explain it here."
03:48 if I remember correctly I believe that was dubbing error. There was something I read somewhere, where the guy either traded you something else or, I believe, made a comment about the Richu that got dubbed wrong
Wait a minute, you can battle prof. Oak? But he said that he only had three pokemon left when he gave Gary and Ash a pokemon at the start! That crusty old man, he was holding out on Gary and Ash!!. We could have atarted with a level 67 Taurus. Prof, Oak is such a jerk!
It doesn't matter the pokemon you use or its level when you strengthen you can move the truck but there is nothing underneath it..... However I do know how to catch mew #151 In red blue and yellow all 3 the trick is exactly the same and it is a glitch I have personally done it a few times
The Raichu evolution was because in Pokemon Red and Green this was a different Pokemon, I don’t which one anymore but one of the four that evolves by trading. They just changed it into Raichu and forgot to rewrite the situation.
I remember we thought you could use the HM strength to move the truck to get to mew. We also had the rumor that there was an HM called jump that would allow you to jump behind Bills house where there was also a mew.
You can actually get two Mews in the Cerulean area. Right after you finish the nugget bridge trainers, there will be a trainer in the grass that would be on the way to cerulean cave. You can do the teleport/fly glitch on this one and then you'll come back to the 4th trainer on the way to Bill's house and battle the slowpoke they have. Once finished, head back to Cerulean City and the start menu will popup. Backing out, a Mew will appear. Do the same thing over and go to the Cerulean gym and battle the first trainer. You can do this with other trainers too. So far, I've gotten Scyther, Mew, Dragonite, Gengar, Nidoqueen, Lapras, Growlithe, Arcanine, Rhyhorn Chansey, and others. Some will be repeats.
Skipping Game Corner with poke doll was the quickest way to get to Silph Co although if you wanted to eventually get Gastly you had to do that eventually and battle team rocket at game corner.
I later played Pokemon soooo much, that you didn’t even have to fly to Viridian City after awhile you could just go to Cinnibar Island & just surf up & down & you’ll run into Missingno
To let you know you missed one very important glitch that is a little bit complicated but it is the only w ay to actually capture Mew # 151 I have personally done this glitch and it does work in the American version red blue and yellow all 3 of them You get him at level 7 with his only technique being pound A can learn any HM and TM and does learn some interesting techniques as you level him up including transform Didd's technique .... If you are interested I can explain it And then you can do a video about it
I just figured out that I must be kind of crazy but I knew all of these facts. Add on for the evolving Raichu story is that in Pokemon Red/Green this trader requests a Kadabra and offers you a Graveler. Both evolve after of course, and when making Pokemon Red and Blue they changed this trade to Raichu but did not change the situation.
Got myself an original Pokemon Red version cart, the epilogue cart reader/player for my pc, pkhex and the Analogue Pocket. Just got all of the starters. Next I'm going to try to copy the stats of my gen 1 pokemon from my pokemon home/switch games so I can have those on the original game(as close as I can anyways). Edit: On original hardware back in the 90s when red came out my dad and I trained my charizard to lvl 100! Miss those days so much. At least now I can recapture some of that nostalgia/memories 😊

Theres loads of glitch pokemon on the side of cinnibar If you go there directly after fighting your rival his starter will show up in its 3rd form (if he took squirtle only)
The Raichu trade evolution actually has to do with the original Japanese version being Graveler and/or Kadabra, both of which evolve through trading. The English localization didn't translate things correctly.
I always thought that the movie in the tv at player's house was different in japanese version and changed when they introduced English ones... Im pretty sure I heard about it on Imported Cheese channel but Im not sure.
I initiated the missing no. glitch one time to re-up on rare candy only this time it the glitch reset my game. a little startling at first but my game hadn't been lost. rare candies were re-upped but this time when I would walk in tall grass, wild squirtles, charmanders, and bulbasaurs and even mews became common place.

I remember playin pokemon red on my gamboy, my friend and i have found a place that you can literally find pokemon lvl over 100, it was at the exit of a cave, once outside there a river with 2 or 3 gras, you go there and boumm some pokemon can be catch with a lvl over 100, i remember playin in pvp mode with the cable between 2 gameboy with a snolax lvl120 haha its was unbeatable and i never heard about someone who ever find this place.
This feels more like a "17 things I can make an easy video about on Red and Blue", you showed how to do the boulder glitch wrong, you failed to explain the Raichu mistranslation which would have taken a few minutes to look up (it was a different pokemon in the original Japanese, I believe either Kadabra or Graveler) and lastly you didn't want to explain the item duplication glitch but then went ahead and explained a very similar glitch with the safari zone, one with essentially the same amount of steps (and slightly wrong, it's only at Cinnabar that the glitch works for a specific reason). The only things of note from this video that were slightly interesting was how Charizard can learn fly in a round about way and the names affecting colours in Stadium. The explanation for Cinnabar is as follows: the first water tiles on the east coast of Cinnabar are wild encounter areas, which is a problem because no pokemon are linked to be encountered in Cinnabar. As such, the game loads the last area's encounter table and uses those encounters. This is why you encounter safari pokemon if you were at the safari zone previously, as long as you do not travel through a zone with any encounters the game will be forced to load safari encounters due to the lack of Cinnabar's own encounter table. HOWEVER if you were to speak to the old man in Viridian who teaches you how to catch pokemon, an interesting thing happens where the game sends the players name to be stored in that table while the old man takes the player's space for the scene. Now if you were to travel immediately to Cinnabar without loading a new encounter table, when surfing on the patch and triggering an encounter, the game will try to call an encounter based on the id of your name, which is where you tend to encounter MissingNo. Now that was a very brief explanation in which I probably skipped over a few details but essentially covers the main bits of info, something that this video could have done with a brief bit of investigation.
My mew two was blueish I don’t remember what I named it but compared to my sisters mew two hers was the basic purple color mine had a blue tent to it which was a lot cooler than green mewtwo
