Very good advice to ride safely and having fun
For sure😉
Thanks for the tips, good stuff.
Thanks! Hope they're useful!
Awesome Tips!
👍
Thanks dude
Nice
Bill needs to watch this video
🤣 He has, already made him faster...😆 jk he is a great rider though, too each their own out on the streets!
@@CaliMotoTV😅 yeah do as I say and not as I do..
@Hugo_WP well how I (Chris) ride on the streets is exactly what I show in this video...
@@CaliMotoTVyeah I meant me 😂, so many times I have thought that my SFV4s is just too much power to the street.. 2nd gear up to red line and you are with crazy speeds. I do pretty much the same riding style as you do 👍🏻
@Hugo_WP 😂 oh yes, these bikes just love the revs especially this v4r and man are you flying at 16000rpm
Your videos are getting better, audio is improving as well:)
If you ever want to do some content on a really great Ducati that dosnt get very much love, I would be interested in allowing you to feature/ride the 1200 R monster, or revisit the BMW M 1000 R.
Let me know. Keep up the great content Chris, long time supporter of the channel.
Appreciate the kind words, I'm always working to make the videos better and better. Are you in AZ? Both bikes would be great to feature.
Yes, I’m in Tucson 👍🏽
Usually free on weekends, just hit me up.

@@brettstewart4177 do you have IG?
@@CaliMotoTV ya
@WhahDaCluck
Quite different riding style to what I'd be doing. But being safe is number one
Ride your own ride for sure. These tips apply more when you're at speed as well!
@@CaliMotoTV have you never seen or heard of being on the wrong side of the road on a bend to improve your vision? Our police/VIP riders are taught this
@@smerlapke no, explain!
toTV from your video, righthand bends be on the yellow line. Left-hand bends be on the white line, improve vision around the bends. Do all your braking on the straight, slow in fast out. If you're riding faster, if traffic allows be on the wrong side of the road, improves vision around bends even more.
@smerlapke I can't bring myself to purposefully go on the wrong side, on a road that is as tight and narrow as this. I'm sure there's canyon runs where doing that would be an advantage, but this road, I personally couldn't do that.
THIS video. ya'll need to just delete part 1 and leave this up lol
🙃 thank you! Obviously 2 different riding styles.
The cyber truck was designed by Homer Simpson whilst very drunk - my dogs do better looking sh*ts !!
Seeing it in person and yea, it's just as bad as it is in photos 😅
You guys seen the one on snow tracks? Google it, it looks bad ass. I like them.
Its the car everyone used to make in Paint when we were kids xD
Roads are race tracks pin it
Nope, they're publicly used. There's cyclists, runners, debris all on this road and blind turns. Not worth it.
@CaliMotoTV I'm a cyclist 🚴♀️ as well as a runner.. I speak scarasm
@jerryvanderwal3836 yea, unfortunately tone doesn't come through in chats and people actually have that mindset. So it's tough to tell who's joking and who isn't. 😉
One finger braking is bad, m'kay? Try adding in a second finger when you unexpectedly need more braking power.. You can't !!
I disagree on both, but you can easily rest 2 fingers if you feel better doing that. My point is to cover the brakes so however you choose to do that is your preference.
@@CaliMotoTV Have you tried ? Its impossible to add in a second finger...
Besides, I never cover; only in busy traffic.
@literal_lee that's your choice not to, after taking Yamaha Champ school, I do all the time now. As for one finger, I have needed to brake hard and had more than enough power to stop/maneuver with 1 finger. Though that could be dependent on the bike (v4r vs something with lesser brakes).
@@CaliMotoTV Maybe one finger is enough for this bike. But you are developing a bad habit. On any other bike you might need two, like on my old R1 e.g.
Also... all safety systems have a redundancy feature. Using only one finger there's no redundancy. You can disagree all you want, but you can't deny the absence of redundancy.
@literal_lee you might be right, I agree that redundancy is important. I will say do what feels right to you. On bikes that I haven't ridden yet or don't know well yea I'll use 2 fingers. Oh the R1 even the R1M I reviewed the stock brakes on that were terrible, I had to use my whole hand 🤣
I saw on your page you are (were) an instructor? Where at?
