Welcome to Thailand. I was blown away myself when I first visited! I hope you enjoy your stay there. I'll be heading back in March for my 6th trip to Thailand. Love that place!!
The chicken rice with crispy chicken or Khao Mun Gai Tod (in Thai) is one of a Thai street food. We usually eat with a sweet chilli sauce which make it taste even better. Another dish in the same vendor is Chicken rice with strreamed chicken or Khao Mun Gai. They always sell this 2 dishes together every where in Thailand. This dish servedl with brown sauce made with fermented soybeans and ginger. Both dishes are popular among Thai people, hope you'll try it next time. Enjoy your stay in Thailand !
please please keep in mind that motor vehicles do not yield to the pedestrians. they assumed and expected to have the right of way even if they do not. also, watch out for motorcycles as they zigzags between cars at speed you often not notice until it is too late. i hate seeing tourists get hurt because of this mistake. welcome to Thailand and have fun.
Thank you so much to pick first country to visit at south East Asia for you. And I hope you enjoy my country, enjoy your trip and take care I will keep watching your videos.
I stayed at the Carlton in Feb 2023 - I was in room #3001 and that was an awesome room - the pool is one of the biggest at over 30m too - breakfast buffet was excellent - Gapow Tapae was and amazing little restaurant nearby
Wow, your excitement on visiting your first foreign country really shows through. I am glad you chose the land of smiles as your first country to visit. Thailand is one of my favorite counties to visit and I will be heading there after spending 12 days in Japan.
Enjoy your journey! What caught my eye was the 5555 behind you. This saggie rising/Libra sun is owning a change on a soul level. Thank you for sharing Zane. Eat, pray, love💚
Happy 30th birthday!! South East Asia is awesome. If you go north in Thailand, I highly recommend Chiang Mai, and visiting Happy Elephant Home for a day ❤️ Can't wait to see more of your travel videos, have all the fun!
Hey Zane I just discovered your channel and I’m really enjoying your videos. I’m planning on visiting Bangkok later this year and I’m making note of things to see and do when I’m there from your videos. They are most informative and enjoyable. Keep up the good work😊
I was just thinking about you the day before you posted this video - I was wondering if you started traveling yet and here you are! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Can’t wait to travel more with you!
You pronounce Thai words almost like Thai native. I just couldn't believe it's your first visit to Thailand + seems like you did a lot research before you came here. Keep up good vlog & welcome to TH :)
Miss your amazing reads but you be you and just e happy and safe. Envious😁🙏🏼 but thanks for sharing. Shall keep you in my prayers along your journeying🙏🏼
So excited for you! I love travelling and it's super fun to be able to watch you travel now. Things will not always unfold as expected but if you stay calm and polite throughout then you will always find that other people will be helpful. Lots of travellers let their frustrations get the better of them and end up treating staff (at airports, hotels, etc) badly 😢. May you stay well, safe and have the best adventure ever. ✌🌻
Just came back from Bangkok for the first time and started binging Thailand travel videos because I miss it. You seem to have stayed in the same hotel - my room looked exactly the same!
AIS at the airport was "just" 800 baht for me for the 100mbps 30d unlimited data plan, if im not mistaken. I stayed 30 days last year and didnt ever use the hotel wifi, cuz the AIS was so fast and stable i just used phone as wifi hotspot. Definetly worth the money to not have to worry about hotel / airbnb wifi anywhere you go.
At present most street food sellers along Sukhumvit road are not Thai. They are Vietnamese, Cambodian, Lao, Burmese, Nepalese and etc. I think the one selling orange juice to you is Vietnamese. He didn't even speak Thai. Vietnamese are notoriously known for selling unhygienic orange juice.
The chicken dish you got is called "Kao Man Gai Tort" (tort mean fried so if you want the boiled version just ask for kao man gai). Terminal 22 is a smallish mall in bangkok. Go to central world and paragon and Iconsiam (the biggest one in central bkk). They are massive.
welcome to the 30s club! make the best of the best experience ever ! try whatever you have not done yet, experience it and do it... YOLO ! Have fun on your travel vlogging
Good job for the first vlog🎉. Your voice and accent are clear. I really enjoy. However next vdo please do not turn the camera many time. Your vdo will more smooth.
Happy you enjoyed your first day in BKK. Just be careful of pick pockets n dun place your valuables for easy access. My mobile was picked by cutting my bag.
Welcome to my home country (been living stateside for over 45 years now). What you tasted in the pad Thai is a little bit of fish sauce. YAASSS, that is our umami taste in Thailand. Tell you a little secret, we Thais use fish sauce in everything! So now you know our secret. If we say we put fish suace in everything, most Westerners make a face because they think of fishy smell or taste, which does not sound appetizing to Western tongue. That bread is sweet bread with pandan sauce, my son's favorite. Enjoy your travel.
Heeey new subscriber here! 😊 Did you say your using go pro? What model is it mate? I'm using go pro as well but my problem is it's audio. It's definitely not as clear and good quality as your. Your video quality is very clear as well, is it just your setting? Cause if i record my videos on 4k, battery dies easily. Hopefully you'll responsd!😊
GoPro hero 11 black. Shoot in 4k but the most important part is to make sure you’re either shooting in 50 or 60 fps. I use a Volta grip so if the battery overheats I can take out the enduro battery and still film
I would like to see what the Thai massage set up is like there. I receive Thai massage in Canada from authentic Thai practitioners. So invigorating, my whole being vibrates for awhile after.
It is actually the driest time of year during December to Febuary. Wait til June you'll know the real definition of humidity hahaha. Anyways, I hope you have a good time here in Thailand and be safe!
26:05 Bro, you forgot to fill up the little bowl with Thai sauce. Eating at places like these is pretty much self-serving. Next time, don't forget to try the fried chicken rice with the sauce, you gotta love it even more. 😍
Don't fall for the 100 Baht TUK TUK city tour scam! Yes, you will get a city tour but the driver will make stops at jewelry shops where they will high-pressure sell you to buy jewelry. Your driver will get a commission for any jewelry you buy, if you buy! This scam is not dangerous but rather just annoying!
Tuk tuk may try to bring you to a tailor shop as well. Use grab may help you avoid this unwanted tour (unless you want an inexpensive and good quality tailor made suit).
I’m going to Bangkok and Phuket for my first time in September. All on Marriott points redemption for two weeks. Do you suggest a SIM card or pocket WiFi? If I get a SIM card, will the photos I take on my iPhone transfer over once I put my US SIM card back in? Thanks, great video
Almost thai foods serve with different sauce(numjim) you must learn more. To make your meal more delicious with different thai sauce.(Ex.seafood sauce) Welcome &enjoy your foods❤❤❤❤❤❤
Actually, eating fried chicken rice must be eaten with chicken dipping sauce. The red sauce, don't be afraid that the sauce will be spicy because the sauce will taste sweet. It's even more delicious if you eat the chicken and sauce with the chicken soup that they give you. It will be awesome if u eat together. After you have already eaten fried chicken rice, I see that you are looking for dessert and then you walk through a yellow fruit shop that shop has the most delicious dessert in the world , that is a mango sticky rice. Different countries praise it as a delicious dessert. I 'm regret that you passed by it but never mind. Hope you finally try mango sticky rice when you are in Thailand. It's the best dessert everyone says(foreigner).
Visit INDIA 🇮🇳 my friend and you will love it ❤ , You can explore lot of places to eat street food , restaurants and also you can go to ancient temples 🙏
Or use 25/50 FPS if you don't have the option to change to PAL. Thailand's electricity is 50Hz... So change to PAL, change the frame rate, or select "Anti-Flicker" mode to automatically adjust between 50 and 60 Hz (varies by camera what this may be called), if you have that feature.
Clarification: it was not my birthday I was just stating that I am 30 years old. Sorry for the miscommunication!

flickering lights around 9:30-11:15 mark
There were 13000 shops of 7/11 in Thailand anyway your Thai is good though.😊😊😊
When you are recording video indoor to avoid flickering lights set your camera anti banding at 50 Hz.
Thank you for that tip! Was wondering what to do - figured white balance
You should return the casheir such card ,in order to refund the balace amount.
Question: are you filming everything yourself or is someone with you filming you? Was just curious. I couldn’t tell.
Filming myself 👍
@@zanetravel Do you use a selfie stick for it or a variety of methods. You do a great job! I wondered if someone was filming you. Lol!
