It's a reference about the Star Trek movies, Hardison said earlier in the series that the Even Numbered movies were the good ones.
I don't hate redemption, but it isn't as special to me as OG Leverage was. Nate not being in it just makes it feel less interesting. I'm tired of getting "revamps" of shows I love for the sequel shows to cimpletely ignore what it was that made the original so good.
They did a very Un-American thing everyone including the creator of the show jumped on the bandwagon when somebody accused him of raping them in 1983 it turned out even the Canadian authorities have to close the case because even the FBI which was looking into it found out that it was basically bogus and a scam to basically get money from him, most actors pay the accusers just because they don't want to have this type of thing happened to them in fact there was another actor who himself was accused the same thing and his lawyers told him pay it off and it'll go away and he refused in the next thing he knew even though it was proven that he was innocent and that this was a means to extort money from him the guy lost his job the same thing nearly happened to Timothy Hutton, at first he was willing to listen to his lawyer because of the case I mentioned above and then he realized that if she doesn't sign a paper saying but she will never bother him again he just come back and accuse him again and he'd have to pay off all over again so she wanted her to sign the papers saying she would never bother him again,she didn't want to do that so she decided she could get more money out of him in fact she tried to raise the when he refused to pay she went to the Canadian police and he went to the FBI to have them investigate her. But hey back in 2019 before Corona it was very popular to accuse somebody first and ask questions later tell Evan Justin Bieber who is not somebody I care for he was accused of the same thing and it was proven to be bogus the point is that they all jumped on the bandwagon they all tried to Blacklist him and in the end it was proven that the person who was accusing him didn't have a foot to stand and was an extortionist. I don't think any one of the leverage crew you were jumping on the bandwagon to accuse first and ask questions later ever bother to apologize to him for that behavior but one shouldn't expect that because the truth of the matter is it's really easy to jump on a bandwagon without seeing where it came from or where its going. Redemption came off to me like a poorly made version of The librarians meet The Leverage crew, like I said that has more to do with their attitude than anything else.
The new one was not as good as the original, that should say everything.
Noah Wylie and Elise aren't leverage and never will be.
