It sucks things didn't work out for them I kinda hope they revisit it in season 3

I haven't seen season 2 as it's not airing here in Germany yet, but from all the comments on season 2 I can gather that Maria isn't coming back in season 2 and so Eliot and her don't get a happy ending. Which I personally think is a shame, because he deserves to be happy.
Yes, Eliot does deserve to have someone in his life. Here's hoping we'll see someone for him in season 3 (fingers crossed for a 3rd season)
