Love your reactions - but a tip; saying Oh My God is taking His name in vain, and is sinful. It breaks one of the 10 commandments. Just giving a heads-up.
Welcome to the Sabaton Army. The first thing you should know about Sabaton is that every song is about a piece of history, things that has happend, and in this song it was the Christmas Truce of 1914 when the soldiers in the trenches spontaneously started singing christmas carols and then one english speaking german soldier took the first step out of the trenches onto No Mans Land and was followed by an brittish counterpart. That happend in several places but it didn't sit well with the Powers That Be and following years they prohibited such truces under the pain of court-martial. Second, the pronounciation is on the first "a" in Sabaton, i.e. it's pronounced S*a*baton and not Sab*a*ton ;) Third, Sabaton has their own History Channel - Sabaton History, where they tell the historical facts about the events they sing about. Also, they never glorify war - anyone who says that don't understand Sabaton. They're storytellers, modern day bards, who teaches us history with music as their medium. Fourth, you never stop a Sabaton song but let it run its course. Quite often they have messages at the very end and if you miss that you miss a lot of the context of the song and why they wrote it. This time there wasn't such a message but you cut off Nightwish's Floor Jansen (who did the operatic singing) at the end, and fun fact - she's married to the drummer of Sabaton. Fifth, now that you've been introduced here are some suggestions: En livstid i krig (Gothenburg concert, it's in swedish so you need captions but that's the hands down best version), No Bullets Fly (animated story), Devil Dogs and Defence of Moscow to begin with. Good Journey

its ok, some Sabaton fans dont even know what an actual "sabaton" is, all you have to do is look at the S and you will see it, funny thats what they named their band after, but i actually like it
Sabaton is a Swedish metal band that sings songs about military history so everything they sing about ACTUALLY HAPPENED. They hold true to the metal they grew up listening to in the early 1990's, i.e. Maiden, Priest, Metallica, etc. The band is huge in Europe and they are gaining traction in the US --mostly by people over the age of 40. Most members are in their 30's so they have a lot of time left to make great music!
Great reaction. Sabaton are fantastic. They are interested in military history and sing about many events. They do thorough research into the history for each song and have a history channel where they tell us the history of each event related to each song.
I don't think you realised that it was Floor Jansen who sang the outro at the end credits. She is of course the wife of Hannes!! ( de drummer van Sabaton ).
@@perfect135 I have never even heard of Nightwish until I had discovered Sabaton, which was yesterday. And I am from Perth, Australia. And, on the contrary, I hate heavy metal with a passion. Rock n roll and action music is my limit, and I will never make myself reach to heavy metal
Sabaton is our best history teacher. They tell the stories we should not forget. They don't glorify war, but tell the stories men was put through due to war. I hope you do more Sabaton. I like your reaction!
This video is about an actual WW1 truce that happened. You should check into it as it's an amazing story of humanity in the midst of inhumanity. You cut off Floor's voice during the credits! Sacrilege!
What was messed up is the command on both sides ordered shelling of the area because they thought they would see the other side as humans and not go back to war.
My first time hearing Sabaton and I love the video and performance. Many thanks Schnell Jordan for reacting to yet another new artist. I highly recommend everyone check out all the other artists you have reacted to.
It's your first time hearing Sabaton. Well you're in for a treat😀 cause all their songs are bangers 🤟 and they teach you a lot about history and human emotion.
Sabaton base almost all their songs on historical events and they research for accuracy. Outside of a history lecture you'll likely not find better historical event accuracy and detail than in a Sabaton video and song, they are as professional about their history as they are about the music itself. So 100% this song is based on actual events during the first year of WW1 (1914-18) where soldiers spontaneously emerged from the trench lines around Christmas Eve and a period of unofficial truce occurred, the Christmas Truce was not universal, but was very wide spread, and in some places it lasted into the New Year. Following the 1914 truce the high commands on both sides specifically issued commands and warnings that such behaviour should not happen again, so in 1915 while some similar evets occurred they were much rarer and by 1916 it was almost unknown. The tragedy is many of the young men who participated in the 1914 truce depicted here had roughly 4 more years of war to endure, many of them were killed or crippled, many others permanently mentally scarred. The last minutes of the video action where they are fighting exemplifies this tragedy.
Perhaps the best thing about this band*, music aside, is how it draws in people who perhaps were never that pulled towards history, sure it'd be easy to spoon feed you the instance, but just pump in Christmas truce and you'll find a gem from world war one. Oh, and as I edit this, I hope the comment doesn't come across as a snobbery sod snarking off at ya, just someone with a real love for history. Found if you're not delving through books and tomes, you might not get the full raw power that it weighs with. If ya just read a sentence that states what happened, it's easy to go: " Oh, that was a thing. " And move along. To imagine these were real people, real thoughts, instances that could have gone one way or the other, the reaction from the officers and such, how tragically it failed to do much in terms of ending a war that was fought for almost no reason at all. And there I go spurting on about it. Heh, the things history does to someone who wants to live it as best as it deserves.
Great reaction, by the way. the story behind this music, actually, its about one day that hapened in the world war one, have been mortal enemies armies, that stopping fight to celebrate christmas and then danced theirselves, chanted holy night, drinked wine e played football.
Sabaton always deliver and go above and beyond, you get amazing music and you learn something interesting about history as well - all of the songs that they do are based on historical events, Christmas Truce was the 1914 truce, Final Solution which is about the Holocaust are both well known stories (at least in the UK they are generally taught at high school), but they do a lot of obscure pieces of history, Livguard (Sweden Royal Guard), No Bullets Fly (A german WW2 pilot saves the lives of an American bomber). They also do a video on the Sabaton History channel, for all or if not most of their songs, which goes into more detail about the event, the amount of research and respect for the history that these guys put into their music is incredible

That cross still stands at the exact place it was erected in 1914 at the side of a nowadays field, not the original anymore, but a replica. The location is in the middle of what used to be the no man's land during the first battle of Ypres, it is located near Commines-Warneton (Belgium) not far from the French border, not one day passes without fresh flowers, or even footballs being placed at the base of the cross, remembrance counts! Lest we forget
@Schnell Jordan: I know this is your first reaction to Sabaton, so I forgive your mispronunciation of the name. The proper pronunciation is "sah•buh•t•on," not "suh•bah•ton." And what most people don't know is, a "sabaton" is actually a piece of medieval armor that goes underneath a grieve (lower leg armor), but over a boot (no shoes in medieval warfare, only boots). The melody of this song, by the way, is a variation of Carol of the Bells -- which is why it might seem familiar to you. It is one of the most well-known Christmas songs, and it is my personal favorite song during the holidays.
The wiki page for Sabaton has a discography listing with a page for each album. The page for the album lists the song title and the event/person/subject.

Sabaton is a Swedish band that writes and sings about Actual historic events, battles, moments of heroism and wars. They will be releasing their 10th studio album on March 4th 2022. Nice thing about them is that their video's never blocked so it's RUclips safe. (except for some Wacken video's that gets blocked by Wacken) If you really want to go down the Sabaton rabbit-hole, I would recommend these: (These are all from the Sabaton Channel, and they never block videos so it's safe to use) [live at Woodstock 2012]: Ghost Division, 40:1 and Uprising [Great Tour Live Videos]: En Livstied I Krig (make sure to turn subtitles on), Red Baron, Swedish Pagans, Primo Victoria, Fields of Verdun, Devil Dogs & Angels Calling [Lyric videos]: Attack of the dead men, The Final Solution, In Flanders Fields, 82nd All the way, Sparta, Shiroyama, Cliffs Of Gallipolli and The lost betallion [Music Video's]: Bismarck, Steel Commanders, Defence of Moscow, Livgardet (make sure to turn subtitles on), Fields of Verdun, Rourke's Drift, Screaming Eagles, Uprising The Future Of Warfare (Building Blocks Video) & Seven Pillars of wisdom [Animated History Video's]: Night Witches and No Bullets Fly (not animated music video's, the animated history/story video's) [Covers]: Kingdom Come [Offical video] and I'm sure people told you but in case, Sabaton have another channel (Sabaton History Channel) where they do a deep dive into the history behind the songs with Indy Nidell.
Sabaton is amazing. Love this song and video. Great reaction! You should also check out their video for their song “Bismarck”… you will love that one too! Also their Yarnhub animated story videos for their songs “Night Witches” and “No Bullets Fly” are amazing as well. They are phenomenal live performers as well. Check out “Livstid i Krig” live from The Great Tour in Gothenburg and “Uprising” and “40 to 1” live from Woodstock. Sabaton creates and sings songs about heroes, military history, notable historical events, and war. They do not glorify war… but they do write unbiased, honest, songs about heroes and history of all Nations. They honor heroes and tell the tales in epic fashion. They are talented, awesome, and very unique at what they do. I always tell people that they are kind of like Metal Bards. You will love this journey if you decide to discover more of their music. Also side note… their drummer Hannes is married to Floor Jansen of Nightwish and that was Floor singing the amazing outro to “Christmas Truce”. 🙂🎄👍🏻
The funny bit is that Joakim _(the singer)_ actually joined the band as their keyboard player. It is an ongoing joke that the band still needs a singer. The Carol of the Bells into is played in reverse octave so as to illicit sadness and despair as opposed to joy and hope. In the middle of the song he plays it in a higher key to lean back into hope... and falls back down the octaves in the end.
in the christmas of 1914 the trenches on both sides laid down their arms in an unofficial siezefire to celebrate christmas. it lasted for 3 days total, that particular day and 2 more days there after. sadly, they were ordered back to battle after that. understandably, many of the soldiers on both sides couldn't bring themselves to fight each other after getting to know each other during those few short days and hence had to be transferred to different fronts. there were many more similar acts of chivalry and kindness such as this one throughout both WW1&2, but this one was one of a kind and nothing came even close to the scale of the christmas seize fire. they even made a movie (albeit not entirely historically accurate) about it.
So Sad you cut off the end credit vocals by our Valkyrie queen Floor Jansen of Nightwish. She is the wife of the Drummer Hannes Van Dahl. I would like to suggest 82nd all the Way and Ghost Division.
Alot of people will give you suggestions for songs to listen to. I suggest. Just listen to any of em. You'll find songs you don't like. Then like 2 days later you'll be thinking of it. This band has taught me so much. And I thought I was a milatery history nerd before em lol
This is about a real event, a spontaneous truce that began when, on Christmas Eve, the weary troops heard each other sing the same Christmas carols in their different languages. Really cinematic Sabaton videos are Bismarck, Fields of Verdun, Defense of Moscow, Hell and Back, Coat of Arms... but don't neglect the live videos, they're power metal and the power metal fans like to be involved in the show. See Ein Livstig Krieg.
got to salute the production value and professionalism of the Scandinavian countries ,this man is singing in his non native language and his diction is so clear ,it's is a way better than native english speakers . first picked it up with abba . as clear as a bell.
Vlogging through history has a great reaction to this video from the historical perspective. Definitely worth checking out if you are not familiar with the history of this event.
An unofficial Christmas truce started in the Ypres Forrest in Belgium on December 24,1914. As I said it was not an official order, but was started by soldiers on the front lines. They crossed into no man’s land and talked, shared food and drink, and even had a game of soccer,( football). Orders were issued on December 26 that such a truce was never to be attempted again by either side. This was shortly before chemical weapons came into use heavily by both sides, so a lot of distrust developed on both sides, and there has never been another Christmas truce since
Some cool Battle between the bands (Sabaton style) Sabaton - 82nd all the way Amaranthe - 82nd all the way Sabaton - Carolus Rex Follow the Cipher - Carolus Rex Manowar - Kingdom Come Sabaton - Kingdom Come Amon Amarth - Twighlight of the thundergod Sabaton - Twighlight of the tundergo
Sabaton has their own RUclips history channel where they talk about their songs and the history behind them, the last video tells the history of this song ;)
When I was in school during the 40s/50s, I barely remember this "story". During WWI, there was massive fighting and death in the fields of France (commonly known as "No Mans Land"). Whether true or not, the story is that during Xmas (1914 or 1915), a truce occurred when members of both the Grermans and Axis soldiers came onto the battlefield and laid down their arms for the Xmas period, but returned to massive fighting after that. I never heard of or the term Sabaton Army. That's my only reaction that I recall after 70 years. Fascinating story, if true, but I'm kind of amazed that you even came up with this selection...very strange !! Now, I'm ready for more merry and cheerful Xmas reactions...Pentatonix
Let me guess you are american. If yes it is clear that you never heard of this truce because this was before the US joint the war and this part is normaly not taught in the US. Yes this truce realy happend all over the western front and was done from the normal soldiers. The high commands on both side dident liked it and forced the troops to start the fighting again. At a lot of the parts of the front the troops needet to be transfeart to other parts of the front where they dident know the enemys because the dident want to fight the people the had celebrated christmas with. Sorry for my bad english.
First Christmas WW1 the soldiers stop fighting and met in No Mans Land in between the trenches and exchange food drinks tobacco etc. True story. The Animated version of this songs explains it well Sabaton is amazing at making history Fyn. They have amazing songs. .The woman singing at the end is the drymmers wife.
The Christmas Truce of 1914 is one of those stories that restores faith in Humanity. By Christmas 1914, the First World War had been waging for nearly 5 months. When these men had enlisted, they had been told the war would be so quick, they would be home in time to spend Christmas with their families. However, trench warfare caused the war to go on much longer than initially thought. Then on Christmas Eve, across the Western Front, multiple British, French, and German units (and some Austrian and Russian units on the Eastern Front), engaged in unofficial ceasefires. The popular story is that the British could hear the Germans singing Stille Nacht, or Silent Night, and started to sing along in English. From there, men left the trenches, went into No Man's Land, and celebrated Christmas together. They exchanged things (one German soldier gave his helmet away), sang more songs, played soccer, and even helped each other bury their dead. However, these were unofficial ceasefires. There were spots where fighting continued and the higher ups made sure such an event would not be repeated.
Sabaton is learning history through music. You will learn more about world history from their songs than from any lessons in school. I also recommend you their channel - Sabaton History. There you have an explanation of the events contained in most of the songs
The video is depicting an actual event in history, during ww1 on Christmas the 2 opposing side came together and played games, traded food, stories buried the dead est. It's a beautiful story
Great reaction and welcome to a new rabbit hole!🤘😁 Joakim's voice is really something, huh?! 😊 His gritty vocals kind of give a perfect balance to their melodic songs. From your reaction I know you'll love their other stuff! All of their songs give you a small military history lesson. They're all based upon real events and persons. Always high production quality on music videos and live shows. I highly recommend you to check out Sabaton's "Bismarck" (official music video. It's about the giant, German battleship from WW2), "To hell and back" (official music video. It's about Audie Murphy, the most decorated American soldier from WW2), "No bullets fly" (animated story video. Now whatever you do, make sure you watch the whole thing. There's always more info after the song. 2, actually in this one 😉. Have a lot of tissues piled up! ) Also check out their live stuff. "Red Baron" (live from Berlin, 2020), "En livstid i krig" (live from Gothenburg, 2020. It's in Swedish, so captions on! The song is about a Swedish soldier, drafted to the 30 years war in Europe, 1618-1648). Oh, btw... Floor Jansen was singing the ending credits in "Christmas Truce". Her husband is the drummer of Sabaton (the first guy showing up in the video... )
Sabaton is pronounced "Sa-buh-taan". Sabaton is what the armored boot of Knights armor is called. The current band members are Joakim Broden - Lead Singer/Piano Par Sundstrom - Bassist Chris Rorland - Rhythm Guitar Tommy Johannson - Lead Guitar Hannes Van Dahl - Drummer The Christmas Truce of 1914 is what this song is about. Joakim, Par and Hannes are portraying German Soldiers, and Chris is portraying a British Soldier and Tommy is portraying a French Soldier. If you continued to listen to the outro, you would be listening to Hannes's wife Floor Jansen. Floor is a Singer for another band, Nightwish.
Christmas Truce if 1914 where the British French and German sides came together on Christmas Day as a truce. A German emerged from the trenches and into No-Mans-Land and said “marry Christmas” in his language to the French and British thus the truce began they actually played football (soccer) with each other! They gave each other gifts as if they were family. But the next day.....the battle started.....and after that both nations decided never to have a truce like that again....
There's a reason why "1914" is carved into the grave marker. If you liked this, you will probably also like the live version of "Into the Fire"--another awesome example of Joakim's signature vocals.
Christmas Truce, (December 24-25, 1914, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium), unofficial and impromptu cease-fire that occurred along the Western Front during World War I. The pause in fighting was not universally observed, nor had it been sanctioned by commanders on either side, but, along some two-thirds of the 30-mile (48-km) front controlled by the British Expeditionary Force, the guns fell silent for a short time. The cross is replaced in1999 The countries of Europe went to war in the summer of 1914 with enthusiasm and the belief that the conflict would be over by Christmas (December 25) of that year. Within only a few months, however, hundreds of thousands of soldiers had been killed in heavy fighting. The German advance had been checked at the Marne, and the “Race to the Sea” between Germany and the Allies had played out at Ypres. The result was a bloody stalemate, with a front that stretched from the Swiss border to the North Sea.
I just saw The Trans-Siberian Orchestra LIVE here in San Jose, Ca. They do an annual Holiday tour that combines classical Christmas music with hard rock, an amazing light show and some of the best vocalists you will ever hear, with a beautiful message of peace. It's a lot like this. Check out some TSO for Christmas. ruclips.net/video/U4f5FBhLxmI/видео.html Side note: The guy with the long blonde hair who got blown up in the beginning is Sabaton;'s drummer Hannes, who is married to Floor Jansen of NIGHTWISH. They live on a farm in Sweden with their daughter, horses, dogs and cats.
You should try on Ghost in the Trenches by SAbaton (Not SabAton! ;P). It's about First Nations’ scout and marksman Francis “Peggy” Pegahmagabow from Canada.
OMG you cut off Floor singing the credits , (she is married to the Drummer of Sabaton, the German soldier with the long blonde hair) aside from that great reaction , for more on this topic there is a decent movie (2005) "Joyeux Noel" (Merry Christmas) shows the German, French & British (well a Scottish unit) , sadly when word of these events got out many units were punished and relocated to other sections of the line were the fighting was more savage. and then they made sure on holidays they would launch attacks and such. but the war took a turn and got more deadly esp once GAS started to be used in 1915 some soldier tried to repeat the event of 1914 but were shot .
Good video; I liked it! Just so you know, 'Sabaton' is correctly pronounced with the accent on the *first* syllable, and you sorta semi-swallow that final 'n', so you can just barely tell that it's there ('sabaton' is a french word for a certain piece of armor). The Christmas Truce was real; it wasn't universal ... there was a semi-official Christmas Cease-fire that was *sort of* OK'd by both sides senior officers - but it was far from mandatory, units that faced each other and were dire foes still exchanged fire. But in some areas the troops from both sides did get together and mingle, as though they were friends and comrades. In other areas, they didn't mingle together, but they sang Christmas carols to each other across the No-Man's Land between their trenches. I've heard that there were a few cases where the chaplains from each side got together and held a combined Christmas Service! Back then the people took their Faith more seriously, and could recognize the enemy as still being 'fellow Children of God' and therefore worthy of respect, despite trying to kill each other most of the time. BTW, the phrase "The War To End All Wars" (the name of this album) was commonly used (along with "The Great War") to refer to WW1, before WW2 came along.
The "Christmas Truce" really occurred at some points along the front in WWI. Soldiers first shared Christmas songs from their trenches and then ventured out into no man's land where they greeted each other, exchanged items and played football. Military leadership was so worried about all soldiers getting along that they threatened harsh penalties for troops who "fraternized with the enemy".
As a former combat arms soldier I can tell you that in my experience combat soldiers are usually just young men who have no inherent desire to harm anyone. To avoid the obscenity of war citizens need to keep self serving, megalomaniac politicians and misnomered "elite" under control. They are the fundamental problem, IMHO.
During the First World War, in 1914 in France, there was declared an unofficial and spontaneous truce on Christmas where both sides put down their weapons and celebrated Christmas together as friends. Unfortunately at least to my knowledge this has never happened again in any war since

"Are you joking?"
"No... He IS Joakim"
I couldn't resist and I'm not sorry for what I said
Underrated :P
You cut off Floor. Coal in your stocking this year. 😆
Great reaction. I love it. Perfekt
Sabaton = The best history teachers ever!
Talk about a Christmas' miracle...
Best wishes for the coming BABY from Berlin, Germany!!!
It's your first time hearing Sabaton. Well you're in for a treat😀 cause all their songs are bangers 🤟 and they teach you a lot about history and human emotion.
Great music, awesome reaction. Congratulation on your baby.
Hey Schnell, always listen to the end, the icing on the cake….Floor Jansen. What a great song of Sabaton
Your reaction to Joakim starting to sing is priceless!
Imagine the level of raw courage required to be the first man to climb that ladder and step into no man’s land…
Great reaction, by the way. the story behind this music, actually, its about one day that hapened in the world war one, have been mortal enemies armies, that stopping fight to celebrate christmas and then danced theirselves, chanted holy night, drinked wine e played football.
Sabaton is one of the greatest bands ever
First nice ABBA reactions......and Now Saabaton!!! I think its time for you to move here to Sweden soon ;-) ;-)
Looking forward to many, many more reactions to Sabaton ahead!!! Thank you so much for reacting to them!! PS: I know you can never resist the singers "Joakim Brodén`s" voice anyway ;-)
And as you are moving here soon....you might want to find out how it is to live in the North of Sweden . So check out "Jonna Jinton - Living with the dark winters in Sweden/Midnight Sun and Polar Nights.
But first and formost . Pls more Sabaton soon!!
...
Great reaction but never stop before it's finished,Flo from nighwish made a big impact at the end
Det är ett fotskydd
The wiki page for Sabaton has a discography listing with a page for each album. The page for the album lists the song title and the event/person/subject.

Sabaton is a Swedish band that writes and sings about Actual historic events, battles, moments of heroism and wars.
They will be releasing their 10th studio album on March 4th 2022.
Nice thing about them is that their video's never blocked so it's RUclips safe. (except for some Wacken video's that gets blocked by Wacken)
If you really want to go down the Sabaton rabbit-hole, I would recommend these:
(These are all from the Sabaton Channel, and they never block videos so it's safe to use)
[live at Woodstock 2012]: Ghost Division, 40:1 and Uprising
[Great Tour Live Videos]: En Livstied I Krig (make sure to turn subtitles on), Red Baron, Swedish Pagans, Primo Victoria, Fields of Verdun, Devil Dogs & Angels Calling
[Lyric videos]: Attack of the dead men, The Final Solution, In Flanders Fields, 82nd All the way, Sparta, Shiroyama, Cliffs Of Gallipolli and The lost betallion
[Music Video's]: Bismarck, Steel Commanders, Defence of Moscow, Livgardet (make sure to turn subtitles on), Fields of Verdun, Rourke's Drift, Screaming Eagles, Uprising The Future Of Warfare (Building Blocks Video) & Seven Pillars of wisdom

[Covers]: Kingdom Come [Offical video]
and I'm sure people told you but in case, Sabaton have another channel (Sabaton History Channel) where they do a deep dive into the history behind the songs with Indy Nidell.
Floor jansen is married to the drummer in the band! ❤️
Sabaton, the best unbiased history teacher we will ever get
Sabaton is amazing.
Sei sempre più Bella 😍
in the christmas of 1914 the trenches on both sides laid down their arms in an unofficial siezefire to celebrate christmas. it lasted for 3 days total, that particular day and 2 more days there after. sadly, they were ordered back to battle after that. understandably, many of the soldiers on both sides couldn't bring themselves to fight each other after getting to know each other during those few short days and hence had to be transferred to different fronts. there were many more similar acts of chivalry and kindness such as this one throughout both WW1&2, but this one was one of a kind and nothing came even close to the scale of the christmas seize fire. they even made a movie (albeit not entirely historically accurate) about it.
You stopped the outtro, which is sung by Floor from Nightwish - that's a real shame
Why?? Must all like Floor?????
So Sad you cut off the end credit vocals by our Valkyrie queen Floor Jansen of Nightwish. She is the wife of the Drummer Hannes Van Dahl.
I would like to suggest 82nd all the Way and Ghost Division.
11 albums to go - 10 of them History done to Metal - Sabatonic Metal.
[Metalizer is from before they found their History Niche....]
It's crazy how man death led to death and destruction of millions and started not one but two world wars.
The singer for Sabaton is Joakim Broden
got to salute the production value and professionalism of the Scandinavian countries ,this man is singing in his non native language and his diction is so clear ,it's is a way better than native english speakers . first picked it up with abba . as clear as a bell.
This was shortly before chemical weapons came into use heavily by both sides, so a lot of distrust developed on both sides, and there has never been another Christmas truce since
Some cool Battle between the bands (Sabaton style)
Sabaton - 82nd all the way
Amaranthe - 82nd all the way
Sabaton - Carolus Rex
Follow the Cipher - Carolus Rex
Manowar - Kingdom Come
Sabaton - Kingdom Come
Amon Amarth - Twighlight of the thundergod
Sabaton - Twighlight of the tundergo
Reserch does not hurt, it was possible to prepare. This song is a true story from 1914.
Welcome to the Sabaton history lessons
You cut Floor off during the credits , i think she also does the backing vocals during the song .
Shes married to the drummer .
In the End Credits Who is Singing is the Vocalist of the Band Nightwish ....Floor Jansen Who is the Wife of the Drummer of the Band Sabaton .....
Lol your name Schnell means quick in German🤣
Nice reaction to a powerfull song!
If you want some more good metal music you should check out Nightwish
They have an live and acoustic version of this
Sabaton - Christmas Truce / musikhjälpen 2021
Go watch Bismark by Sabaton, another epic music video!
Floor jansen singing in the end of the song! 🙏
En livstid i krig👍🏻
^^^THIS ^^^ At Gothenburg in Swedish with English captions
Go Sabaton, Go Floor!!!!!!!!
The current band members are Joakim Broden - Lead Singer/Piano
Par Sundstrom - Bassist
Chris Rorland - Rhythm Guitar
Tommy Johannson - Lead Guitar
Hannes Van Dahl - Drummer
The Christmas Truce of 1914 is what this song is about.
It's about a ww1 battle. Stopped fighting for Christmas.
The baby was kicking because Sabaton made him grow a beard!😁❤✌
Joakim is one hell of a singer!
Thanks to martin....welcome to the sabaton army...btw the cross stands here in belgium in ypres a thought for the soldiers that were in this war
I love your green Eyes. Signed, a random Clown with blue-grey Eyes.
There's a reason why "1914" is carved into the grave marker. If you liked this, you will probably also like the live version of "Into the Fire"--another awesome example of Joakim's signature vocals.
SABATONNNN !!!
Oh no worries Jordan Joakim is so manly not just his voice :). Hugs from Sweden
You are cute..🤗😘🥰
Highly recommend No Bullets Fly (animated story video) for your next Sabaton reaction.
The cross is replaced in1999
The countries of Europe went to war in the summer of 1914 with enthusiasm and the belief that the conflict would be over by Christmas (December 25) of that year.
This video is proof of who liked the sound or not, for simply stopping in the credits.
You should watch Sabaton History Christmas truce. Explains the story of the song
🇸🇪🍻
When ever a song is recommended, you hVe to say what exact video you want to react to and ask that they watch to the end.
😍🦄🌹
Its a true story
Sad that this iconic short time of history is so little known.
You love his voice, you love great videos and heavy metal!?!? You will love Sabaton :)
And yes, all there stuff his historically accurate.
Check out some TSO for Christmas. ruclips.net/video/U4f5FBhLxmI/видео.html
Side note: The guy with the long blonde hair who got blown up in the beginning is Sabaton;'s drummer Hannes, who is married to Floor Jansen of NIGHTWISH.
The Christmas Truce was an actual thing that happened during the Christmas of 1914.
Try Camdelmass, sorcers pledge🤗
actually, this happened on dec. 24th 1914...Sabaton telling stories, that actually happened, which makes them kinda unique
During the First World War, in 1914 in France, there was declared an unofficial and spontaneous truce on Christmas where both sides put down their weapons and celebrated Christmas together as friends. Unfortunately at least to my knowledge this has never happened again in any war since
