Has always been my fav ever pool player. Entertaining beyond words. His advanced shot making is just mind blowing but is more impressive that he spots these shots so quickly. His table knowledge is just scary. He’s let down however by his extravagant play n often punished for it by solid players. An all time legend for sure
@@seanscanlon9067 i played for merseyside when chris played for west yorkshire . he has always been a great player . a lot thinner them days lol. financially he made the right decision going to america
@@kylemc0254 well.. yeah. That’s the idea lol. You’re not supposed to play the game on years old tables that have no slide or bounce, that’s just an unfortunate reality. If we could all play on new tables, we would

His table knowledge is just scary.

Melling is the most gifted play of this type of pool I've ever seen although he did make arguably the best 9 ball clearence I've ever seen.
the best clearance i ever seen chris do was against mika . in 8 ball . 4 cushion worldie on the 7th ball .
@@phil-zz5hk That was the one the other poster was talking about but I assume that the 9 ball was a mistake and it was actually 8 ball, like you say.
He’s good at them because he snookers himself a lot.

@@darktherapy watch his matches more often . chris is a great player . he has had several 147s in snooker . a great break builder .
This is the best clearance I ever seen
typical Melling! awesome shot
He had to play it with left spin as well, because the natural kick was blocked by the yellow.
You are exactly right, not many people realise this but this is a crucial point haha
If there was any other “ Magician”, IMO
Awesome 👏
The match clock is really bothering me
Sick!
The best clearance he's made since the mornings all you can eat breakfast
Wow wow wow
👏 Superbe !
how many players would hit that kick with that much check side and pull it off?
Ah efren reyes?
@@dormamo6917 sure, I never said no-one else could.
and really, he shouldn't have been snookered on the last red anyway
So who is really the magician? Milling or Reyes?
I would call Efren Maradona and Melling Gazza , very close but Efren did it more often 👍

Cushions bit slidey
🥱
Standard for a new table
@@toziassmitt there always constantly playing on a new table so table constantly slidey

Don’t want to demean the great shot that it was but that doesn’t go in on most tables I play on.
That's because of the new cloth and all of that
That’s because most tables are old and raggedy lol. Playing on a new, competition level table is different, trust me
@@toziassmitt it’s because the pockets are huge on the table in this video.
@@kevinbeazy no lol. This is a competition standard table. Way smaller than American 8 ball, if you’re American. A tad bigger than snooker
@@kevinbeazy they're not big, but they are fairly square cut, so the balls go in well down the rail
Magic? He was out of position all the way through. Lucky shot at the end
Here you are. There’s always a few of you.
Totally agree. 4 Bad shots, followed by brilliance to cover up his mistake.
Ridiculous
