"Sunday Morning" archives: Impressionism at 150

On April 15, 1874 - 150 years ago - the first Impressionist exhibition opened in Paris. Also, director Julian Schnabel and actor Willem Dafoe talk about reimagining Vincent Van Gogh's life in the film "At Eternity's Gate" (2019).

Monet’s work draws you in to the places you want to be. They are gorgeous and engaging surrealism. In them, I feel warm, safe, joyful. I want to be at that picnic, walk on his roads/in his towns, and sit by his ponds of water lilies for hours on end.

"Sunday Morning" archives: Impressionism at 150. 11.4.24. I like CBS. it gave me easy going skits like this........and the non conformist, The Clash. I saw after impressionism, London. a person was hard pressed to better munch, schiele.... As the era passes the genre becomes the freedom to chocolate box a scene.
